Difference between Adeboye and Oyedepo is their character.

Adeboye had almost a complete character of who a shepherd is. . So humble, wise and very broken.

But due to his friends, he allowed the prosperity gospel to affect his dispensation towards the end. .

I pray God moves near him and help him to finish strong. We all love him.

Oyedepo on the other hand is kinda arrogant and brags alot. Any small thing .. we have never borrowed in this church, I have never begged, I have been paying salaries for 30,000 plus people for several years.. etc.

That I mentioned I have evidence for my person doesn't mean I owe you any. How you reasoned as far as to conclude that because I mentioned that I have this evidence for myself must mean I must provide it to you is beyond me! undecided

I've been under a few other men of God but none stood out for me like pastor Adeboye. As in the power of God I've experienced from him, his humility and genuine walk and spiritual exercises just makes him outstanding among his fellow GOs.

Yesterdays holy ghost service was one of a kind. The power of God truly came down and I felt it. When he was doing the 360 turn, the power of God was just moving so heavily I felt I was going to throw up my spirit from within me. My spirit was literally trying to jump out of my body. Hmmm.... God is truly with Adeboye..

May God keep him for us. Amen.

I am blessed.

So what you are invariably saying here is that God Himself lied when He said that only those who obey His teachings and commandments can experience Him and His love for men in Jesus Christ- John 14 vs 15 - 25 & John 15 vs 7 - 11? undecided

When God said He only answers the prayers of those who diligently --- this through careful obedience of His Truth-- seek Him, you believe instead that God lied? undecided

What do you gain from holding on to what are obviously antichrist lies abeg?, undecided

I hv never said that u r wrong, the only thing i want to point out is that both the obedient and even the dissoboent can still encounter God if God want, e.g what about Saul and who later became apostle paul? Was he Obedient when he encounter God?

I am afraid you are mistaken about the person of "Saul who later became Paul". You see, the story is that Paul was an Old Covenant believer in God meaning Paul did in fact believe in God. In his zealotry, and as a Levite, he in fact believed he was doing God's work by eliminating those who preached blasphemous ideas against God in the land - Leviticus 24:16. You have to understand that Paul did not break the Old Law of the land by seeing these blasphemers executed. He believed the Christians were a blasphemous sect in the land and needed to be eliminated according to the letter of the law; his mind was not open at the time to realize who Jesus Christ in fact is. So, unlike the hypocritical Pharisees and Sadducees, Paul's intentions at the time seemed to come from a place of love for God and so he carried out the work with blind zeal, up until Jesus Christ supposedly came at him, that is. undecided

Paul wasn't revealed as a righteous man of the Old Law; at the same time, neither was he portrayed as a hypocritical sinner as many in the ranks of the Pharisees and Sadducees were revealed by Jesus Christ to have been. undecided

Bro u r deviating from the main point , we r not talking about believing in God or not, i believe what we r saying here is about the OBEDIENT AND THE DISOBEDIENT cuz one can believe in God and at same time be disobedient. Another instance is Jonah we all know that he was a prophet of God and he was in Dissident at the time he encounter God by been swallowed by the fish i believe u know the rest of the story and this is my main point by saying that both the obedient and the disobedient can encounter God if he want. I can go on and on to prove my point with factual incidents i withness in churches few years back, thats about some person from the pit of hell that does not even believe in God cane to a church program to attack the man of God but got encountered with God and been saved after confessing their mission and where they came from. Then what will u call such incident? Hope we can rest this case here bro. U maybe right on with ur own opinion by i still believe that i m still right with mine too. Peace bro. grin grin

1. How could I have been deviating by pointing out that Saul was clearly not working in disobedience of God's Law when He encountered Jesus Christ? undecided

2. Jonah was not written to have been living in disobedience of God at the time of his refusal so I am not certain why you think God some sort of task master who blocks his servants the moment they have a second thought. undecided

3. Look, a person who lives in continuous disobedience of the teachings and commandments of God is that who God Himself said He will not answer. So, unless you have an example of such who positively encountered God, your argument is moot. It isn't written that one have to first be in perfect compliance with all of God's commandments before one can experience God. Instead, God is interested in all of those who obey His commandments.. undecided

I am afraid you are mistaken! This person did not encounter God. Rather, what he did was cave into the urge to belong to the religion of Churchianism probably because he did not find other answers or was afraid his search has been in vain for something better. There are numerous stories like these out there of people who once balked against an idea finally returning to submit themselves to that very same idea. That in no way makes the idea of God nor does it mean God was ever involved in the idea, to begin with. From the way, I view it, I think cowardice has more to do with that behavior. undecided

You keep accusing me of doing what I have done of all so you can pretend what you claim makes sense in this. Again, all of the individuals you mentioned from scripture where not living in disobedience when God came at them. So, unless you believe God is somehow a liar when you are told, if Him that the prayers of a sinner- one who abides in disobedience of God's Law - is an abomination to the Lord, I suggest you take a step back and review who is really is that you serve. undecided

Also, given the fact that you suppose Churchianism to be a religion endorsed by God, I truly recommend you begin now accessing the particiculars of the God you serve because either God is a Liar or you are on the wrong track. Understand this, Churchianism, the religion of your pastors and mogs, including Adeboyeism is not of God nor His Law and Gospel in the Kingdom of God. undecided

Throwing Bible verses without understanding them is balderdash.

Listen, it is those without solid biblical background that you can toss around.

God meets everyman He wants to encounter at his or her own level.
God is not complex.

So leave all those packaging.
Every true child of God has the Holy Spirit in them that teaches them.

God deals with people via emotions.
That's why He can convict sinners, there is godly sorrow etc.
