Help Help Help My cousin in the UK already with a skilled worker visa applied for dependent visa for her 2yrs old daughter but didn't applied with consent later from father and she did not even show proof of anything, she just gave birth (CS). The husband applied for a visit visa because he has no intention of staying in the UK. The father made his application using an agent while my cousin made application for her 2yrs old daughter. Now the baby has been refused the visa but the father got his visit visa. We have 28days to respond for the baby... Please what should we do? What documents should we include? Are we supposed to reapply or just send UKVI the response with the required documents? Please help us |

Good afternoon all, please I want to make an enquiry for a UK visitors visa. I earn abt two hundred thousand naira plus monthly, have savings of two million naira and dorm savings of abt 7 thousand dollars plus. My wife just started her own business so her account balance is not sufficient. I have a sibling whose a British citizen, lives and works in the uk. My questions are 1. Can I use only my bank statement to apply for me and my wife? 2. Instead of applying for both of us can my wife use my bank statement as her sponsor? Please which is advisable. Thanks |

Focus99:both parents need to apply for the skilled visa or the mother should provide proof of how the child will receive 24 hours care and arrangements for this if only one person will be travelling. 1 Like |

adecoal: It’s perfect, but you can remove the miscellaneous.. how long will she be staying? As for accommodation, ensure to include your utility bill alongside her application, as well as your BRP or ILR, whichever is applicable. |

The mother is in UK already for about 6months now. The father just got his visitor's visa. The child was refused her dependent visa. I think I need clarification on "care and arrangement for this if only one will be travelling" giselle237: |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Mrmoney90: 8:53pm On Dec 14, 2022 |
shangos: First of all, how did you accrue over 7000 dollars? Hope it’s legitimate? UKVI isn’t focused on how much you have, but on how it is gotten.. Secondly, do you have any kids in your marriage? And why are you and wife traveling together on this trip? Because you and your wife traveling might be a red flag. Thirdly, as long as you have sufficient funds you can serve as a sponsor to your wife. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 8:55pm On Dec 14, 2022 |
Focus99:only one person can not be travelling. Visit visa is not the appropriate visa for the father. They expect both parents to take care of the child in order for the child not to lack care and attention. The only reason why they will circumvent this rule is if you can show/proof compelling reasons why one parent will not be staying with the child, or show a death certificate or sole custody papers. These are the only exceptions. Father needs to apply for appropriate visa or you show proof of nursery and after nursery arrangements for child or present any of the documents I have mentioned |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by leef2022: 9:00pm On Dec 14, 2022 |
Focus99: The mother should provide address and care arrangement plans she has, to ensure the child won't be neglected snd safe whilst she's at work. Both parents are obligated to write a letter of consent to be submitted in her next application to show that both party are aware of things and no disagreement. The father on his part would have to state why he can't join the family at this time, yet has consented to their child being away with the mother whom is working in the UK. The father should note he may have had problems either, if he were to travel with the child without the mum's consent letter if the child's dependent application were approved. 1 Like |

Focus99: E never reach death matter, none sole custody things. For example if the dad is a military person;, I am a member of the armed forces, my job is such that I'm rarely at home, and at this time cannot desert my duties to relocate with my family. It is on this junction I and my partner have made adequate arrangements for our child to join her(my partner/mother), in the UK. As part of our arrangements, we have arranged care services that would carter for her needs whilst my partner/ her mum is working in the UK The above plans suits our child's well-being better than leaving her in the hands of carers here in Nigeria, or extended family members and would offer a continual bond between child and mother which is essential in any child's life. I hereby also consent to my/our child joining her mom/partner at this time, as she would be better cared for and looked after. Attached within are arrangements and plans made by myself and partner to support our child's application. Similarly, I intend to visit the UK on regular basis to spend time with my family when on leave or not on duty for the time being whilst we work towards a full relocation process. That way, nobody die, nobody loose custody. Na personal and family choice Even if you be teacher or lecturer, state that ASUU called off strike and work load means you can't relocate now. Yet if you want to requenlish custody na way. But all must be genuine. No go claim to be IG when you are unemployed, my hands no dey there. 2 Likes |
