Well, I put it to you that you are wrong. I paid, not that I am telling you of someone else's story. Facility fee is what goes to the hospital, consultancy fee to the specialist. Paid to the doctor via cash or bank transfer or through the hospitals pos machine to be remitted to the doc for consultancy.

Then it is not a government hospital or the doctor is doing some shady deals for real. Every revenue generated in a hospital is for the hospital and onward to TSA. Unless for some PPPs, because there are still some privately owned companies operating in government hospitals.

My mum was charged 4 million for the removal of goiter tissue growing inward inside her chest cavity for years. That does not include post surgery treatment. We spent less than that to fly her to India for the surgery, she even had change to shop with it in India. Mind you the flight ticket to and fro was for two people.

Besides even in federal facilities eg luth, they have similar executive place I think was built by a madam former bank MD. That place I hear is fully commercialized. More like a private hospital. Someone just commented that something similar is in uch.
