I had two bad Xmas, birthday and new year like dat.

The first one was December 18th 2016 when I was called to rush down home from school ESAE UNIVERSITY with the sad news of my mom died; Omo I almost got mad. 25th of dah year was nothing to me and family, even 27th my birthday I no wan see HBD if u wish me I fit kill person, 1st even for crossover night na with tears all of us enter 2017.

Second one was me celebrating my Xmas, birthday and new year for training school. Omo dah experience is something I don’t want again like NO PHONE, if not for God; I for eat beans like other recruits.

But thank God for man pikin, many years don waka but we still dey o.

I never experienced a gift from my parents or any loved one for Christmas before.

Back in 2006 or there abt i have this crude portable fabricated hand held iron with hole inside where i put all sort of cut out match box stick and seal it with a long 6 inches nail afterwards! Hold it tightly in my pams and hit the nail on a concrete or wall to hear a big bang sound!

Due to wear and tear of previous usages on festive periods little did i know that the hole have worn down to a milimetre to rupturing through the back and den lodged the hot nail into my pam, mehn ,i just couldn’t scream out!!!

The pain was out this world,my pam was cut open and nail lodged inside,na mumsy save me,u see woman especially mothers no use dem joke!

Pospy sef deh vex say i deh lousy and careless,na still mumsy carry one local liquid rub am as first aid before i go village clinic!
That festive period became worst for me!

I was about 6/7
On Christmas Eve
I went into our kitchen to steal matches and ran out to my waiting friends

We wanted to blow banger

I tripped at the gate and fell into a gutter

I broke my tooth

I couldn't eat that Christmas

Maybe new year

2013 was my worst christmas ever no mother, no clothes or foods , i thank God is over now and i am able to provide for orphans who are in the same situation as I was back then.

Regret, based on Christmas? E dey like worry don finish for my life. Christmas is another day which will come and go. E dey like na on top bed I go spend the whole thing. At my age you’ll realize there is nothing special about holidays. Watch and see how I’ll celebrate September 6th — a day with no significance of any sort. Now that will be a day to remember.
