TheSuperNerd: Morocco's WC run meets its end at the hands of the World Champs: Brave Atlas Lions. Morocco had not conceded a single true opposition goal since Walid Regragui took over from 3 friendlies leading to 6 games at the WC so far. Tonight we finally conceded 2. What a run it's been for my Atlas Lions. I always believed in this team and rooted for them but never did I think they would be making a WC Semis in 2022. Naaah... they vindicated me but also surprised me a bit. Now we go for WC bronze. Africa has never bagged a WC medal before. Morocco to be the first? Time will tell. Congrats to France. They proved their heavy favourites tag by winning and PERHAPS they wanna become the first WC Champs since Brazil in 1962 to successfully defend their World Title. But kudos again to Morocco. It's been Africa's finest WC by far. 9 Likes 2 Shares

France are dreadful. The are lethal with less possession. Argentina are dangerous when direct but not that solid with their box. Netherlands game proved that. France should do what they can. This will make it hard to look down on Mbappe ever again, especially if he brings his A game in this final. He will be GOAT talk for next 3 WC, of which e sure say he go see UCL carry at least 2ice. |

TheGoodJoe: When I made the bolded in 17 October, 2021, it looked like a joke. However, Walid Regragui did a fantastic job beating the likes of Enrique and Fernando Santos. Today's display, even though he lost was tactical football at the highest level. He was up against Deschamps, who has coached Monaco to the Champions League finals and won the World Cup with France. It is time we start believing in ourselves and stop this only foreign is good mentality. Invest in our coaches educationally and financially. Waiting to watch more games of Morocco. They did Africa and the Arab Nations proud. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

The Morroco team luck ends here. They have been so lucky! Nothing really special about that team except their defense. In Africa, more of their attacking play will be needed Attack wise, they do not finish easy chances. They will still not win the AFCON! I could see the coach switched to overloading the wing (Arteta style) when Mpabbe and Giroud were not pressing. Once Deschamps (Rohr) made the changes (albeit late) by removing Giroud, there was no way back for Morocco. 7 Likes 1 Share |

COOL10:I disagree. Knockout matches are always tense and nervy. Dishing out yellow cards will be too upsetting and may result to brouhaha. That's the mistake Lahoz made in that Argentina-Netherlands match. 2 Likes |

I hope Vincent Kompany pulls off winning the Championship. That will be a big step for black coaches. Also, our coaches need to get their acts together and start fighting for jobs in Europe, even if it is low teams. With time, we can make a break too. 3 Likes |

Mbappe will be 24 by December 20, two days after the WC Final. Man could just make it 2 WC titles before hitting 24. Lol Pele's GOAT of GOATs status is coming under real threat for the first time in a long long while. daveP: 5 Likes 2 Shares |

The 21st Century GOATs fanboys war is set: Messi Fanboys vs CR7 fanboys Messi Fanboys: We know what they want. Messi to lift that WC and finally end the MessiVsCR7 debate FOR GOOD. Also want Messi and Argentina winning it so they can boldly place Messi super comfortably in the class of Pele and Maradona. Honestly speaking it would be the perfect way for Messi to finally end his WC journey but... it doesn't matter what I think. He and Argentina just gotta turn up. CR7 Fanboys: Obviously prefer Mbappe and France winning another World Cup rather than face a night and Christmas of Premium banter against their Lord, Cristiano Ronaldo. Lol Note that they call Mbappe, Baby Ronaldo/Ronaldo’s apprentice. Need I say more? . In a nutshell, the WC Final is still kinda a Messi vs Ronaldo Final on a low key, from these perspectives. 6 Likes 2 Shares

Concerning the referee that officiated the ARG-NED game, that guy always likes to over-do things. If you watch La Liga frequently, you'll know that that guy get 'skon-skon' for head. Argentina attack is coming together and the defenders are monsters but not tall enough. Also has great players on the bench! Can they stop a Giroud header? Maybe or maybe not! France defence not good enough. Attack relies heavily on Mbappe while the bench are filled with average players Messi is desperate to win. Mbappe wants to proof he is the Prince of Paris! The final will witness greatness! Form will not matter. Who wants it more will win! Press more and run more! I will give my prediction on Saturday, baba! Mujtahida: 9 Likes 1 Share |

Haha!! But Morocco acquitted themselves very well in the game tho. They were the better team for a vast swathes of the game. I think they were just unlucky and their inexperience cost them as well. Conceding that fluke first goal didn’t help either. The good news is, I think Messi and Argentina can defeat this French team. France got badly exposed by England and Morocco. If Griezmann was a Nigerian player you guys will call him a midfielder.. the way he was dropping deep to help the midfield and defense and also help in build up play and transitioning the attack from midfield and defense shows what the Super Eagles attack and team is lacking. 1 Like |
