Do you have an idea what the route will be for someone coming from Asaba? Does this new bridge lead straight to Owerri Road from Asaba bypassing Upper Iweaka and electronics Market?

If you are going to Ihiala, Owerri, PH and Aba, that bridge is for you

If you are going to Nkpor, Awka, Enugu and Abakiliki, the old one is still the best choice

Hahahaha

Even after you read a direct feedback from someone who has used the bridge.

I have highlighted the two most important part for you again. If you still insist, I rest my case

I really don't know why he just wants to defend what he hasnt seen, and more importantly, what he is reading

Okay, thanks. They should have just built a parallel bridge to the existing one. Would have made more sense IMO

So it's only when a project has been commissioned that's when it's completed not when people start using it?

I hear you bro grin

I also like the way you oscillate between 'project' and 'bridge' when pushing the argument of whether the second Niger Bridge is complete.

Whatever way you try to spin it the bridge is complete fact. If you remember your argument was because some of the access roads to bridge wasn't complete therefore the bridge was not completed. I then countered that alternative access roads would be built for commuters to link and use the bridge which has come to pass.

If you insist the bridge isn't completed please humour me what is left to do on it that hasn't been done? Notice I said BRIDGE not access roads.

Maybe we should humour you by asking Mr Obinna Eze, the second person to pass the bridge today.

I respect your resilience in arguing though

Obinna Eze, the second driver to pass through the bridge, urged the present administration to complete it
before May 2023.

“It is a reality, though it is not 100% complete, so far what we are seeing is impressive. We commend the present administration and we hope they complete it based on the time frame,” Eze said.

That's the thing, I don't think it's a question of superiority, but one of preponderance.

Whether we like it or not, the English language is now like the universal human language. It's the only language spoken in all the continents and has the most countries that adopts it as an official lingua franca. That doesn't mean it is superior. It just means it is the most adopted and there is nothing wrong with that.

History shows us that common language binds us together. When we understand ourselves better, we position ourselves to unite for common causes.. And more so language is just but an aspect of culture. Culture comprises of many aspects and culture constantly evolves and adapt or it's phased out over time.

And my most pertinent question to you, as a black man, do I prioritise my Igbo culture or adopt a hegemonic African culture?
I think this cultural issue is very much overstated don't you think?
So, you're promoting the English culture now? An Ibo atheist promoting the English culture. You don't know you're indirectly promoting Christianity, the religion of the English people.

Religion is one of the elements of culture.

Let me know when your revert to Christianity.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Donjazet2: 1:15pm On Dec 15, 2022
Please go and get your PVCs. Your only weapon against bad governance and evil politicians is your PVC.

Don't miss the ballot revolution that is taking place in Nigeria in the coming days.
Rush and get your PVCs. Let us flush away APC and usher in a new Nigeria.

Omoo times 100. grin grin
How on earth does this reply have anything to do with my post. I didn't even say anything about religion so how am I promoting religion??
English is spoken very widely in India but Christianity is barely there. The 3 main religions of India are Hinduism, Buddhism and Islamic religion. Britain did not use religion to colonize India but sheer military might and cynical politics. Again, where did I "promote religion"?

Okay. You're promoting the English culture by promoting the English language and you're indirectly promoting Christianity as well because both religion and language are elements of culture.

Anyway, you can start campaigning for Nigerians to leave the culture of their native land and adopt the culture of a foreign land that always promotes its own interest.

Just leave me out of it.

....... tah! He's a Saint. He transformed Anambra to Abu Dhabi. I've seen the Clip before, I've also seen tweets and NL posts on his failures when he was Anambra State Governor.

Let Obidients keep lying to their selves, as Soludo rightly said; we all know the truth and Obi himself knows the truth and the game he's playing.

Nigeria Penal Code allows for up to 2 years of jail time for a convicted Blasphemer.

https://laws.lawnigeria.com/2018/04/20/lfn-criminal-code-act/

So legally in Nigeria, there is a penalty for Blasphemy.

This is what Amoto always wanted and defended. "Try him but put him to déath regardless." His exact stance on Deborah's killing too.

Amoto94:

The narrations on apostasy/blasphemy are well known and accepted by me just like committing treason the punishment is death once every condition has been met, I'm unapologetic about the stance of Islam on these issues. There are no truths in what the opponents of Islam have said they take isolated cases and specific issues to generalize without taking into context what warrant certain rulings.

Amoto94:

but I support the penalty for blasphemy in line with Islamic injunctions. This is my belief

So much for those who were defending him and trying to explain away his very obvious stance on fanatical murder.

Its good that this video was 5yrs old so its not because of Obi running for presidency,
Everyone who commented on Obi administration in Anambra always has terrible things to say even those who are now championing his campaign now

We have seen threads where curses were heaped on him, videos saying how useless he was even tweets wishing they never witness his administration ever again
