This Cleric did not utter any thing blasphemous against Prophet Muhammad. He only criticised hadiths in Sunni compilations which are insulting to the Prophet. They twisted everything against him because he is Sufi or likely as suspected a Shia (Shi'ite)


Sometime last year, this same Cleric challenged the Wahhabi aka Salafi rabbis to a public debate on inter Islamic disputes. But all those wahhabi Clerics fled from the challenge.

If this Cleric is killed, his innocent blood will be in the hands of the governor of Kano and the Kano state government. Certainly, this is not justice. This is injustice. Even the lawyer who represented him was not appointed by him and he had never seen him before.

Why don't you go and defend him, since you know more about the case than the Prosecutor & the Judge. The Court of law operates on facts not " Dem say Dem say".

His offence was creating flase information & putting it in to the mouth of late Islamic scholars without proof to the extent he blasphemed without knowing against the holy Prophet. This the major reason why a Hadiths says " if you have nothing good to say kindly keep your mouth shut". This simple Hadith would have saved him from the gallows.
