3. All these opinions of mine become Bullsheet the moment I enter a location that has blasphemy laws. While I can say this openly here Nairaland. I dare not try it on Saudi Riyaland or Syrialand and definitely not on the street of Kano or Sokoto
actually no matter where you are you can be attacked and killed for blasphemy. Salman Rushdie was stabbed 10 (ten) times and almost died this year in New fcvking York as he was about to give a speech about how United States is a safe haven for exiled writers.

I agree your chances of being attacked and killed in certain regions vary but you're not entirely safe. remember these people believe their killing you is somehow them doing the will of their god

Apparently the APC guys did madness in the last 12years in Osun State, 407.32billion naira loan debt....Micheal Jackson Adeleke is exposing them

But the two Osun indigene on this thread are obsessed about Peter obi who left no debt, didn't mortgage the future of the state and invested the state money in a business..

I'm an atheist so this would most likely be read as a biased take but I'm of the opinion there should be absolutely no punishment for blasphemy and it shouldn't even be considered a crime let alone felony especially if the religion or god being blasphemed against is regarded to be very powerful and our creator.
Its always a sign of a god not being real when humans are always doing everything for such a god.

It's humans that would tell you there's some god

It's humans that would tell you that this particular god out of all the other gods is real/most powerful

it's humans that tell you a particular religion is the true one from such a god

It's humans that would hand you a book and say its some god that wrote/inspired it

it's that book humans gave you that would say what that God wants you to (not) do

it's the book humans gave you that'd tell you what would happen after you die even though none of those that have claimed to have died and come back to life had ever described the same afterlife in detail

it's humans that then get angry when you insult such - a most powerful entity - god

it's humans that would then sentence you to death for insulting that god or that religion

finally it's human(s) that would carry out the punishment for your insulting such a god

Makes you wonder why there's this most powerful entity but it fully relies on humans to do everything even the most basic thing for him/her. it's almost as id humans are the actual gods they claim to serve

I would've been more accepting of blasphemy laws if there's observable evidence of blasphemers like me dying in absolutely unexplainable circumstances showing there's a possibility some god got so angry at our insults that he decided to kill us but the fact that it's humans that kill us for insulting a powerful entity shows something ain't right

If gods being insulted were real and as powerful as adherents claim then blasphemy laws wouldn't even be needed at all so I see blasphemy laws as just a way for religious people to protect their delusions by killing those who don't agree with theirs
The gods themselves are just past deified humans, who are long, long gone. Nothing spiritual or supernatural anywhere.

God, the Bible, Qur'an, and similar religious concepts are mere words. Humans give power to these things.

Without humans, the gods don't exist. God is a human invention.

Meanwhile amoto and reccy don hold Labor Party hostage for Kogi

https://www.nairaland.com/7482477/labour-party-queries-kogi-state

The national secretariat of the Labour Party queried the Kogi State chapter of the party over the poor outing that greeted the Presidential campaign rally in Kogi state.

* It was gathered that most of the attendees, mobilized from neighboring Enugu State to Lokoja for the rally, invaded the Ganaja Road secretariat of the party and held party officials captive for several hours asking for their mobilisation payment.

To be honest Bello is transparently dangerous and violent. Someone who mobilized people to invade dangote cement, and under whose watch there are assassinations and violence - it is a state where opposition politics comes with a dangerous price.

I wonder what the documentation would look like for borrowing over 300 billion in 4 years.

Our politicians always like the easy way out; Take loans, build roads and infrastructures that will never pay for those loans, siphon the rest, and use those pictures to show you that they are working.

If we ask what Oyetola did, be rest assured to see pictures of roads littered everywhere

Because most of them don't know jack about their states of origin or the sociopolitics played there.
They are too focused on the central government, they allow state governments a pass.

Knowing this is why even at an instance on waking up, you ask me any statistics about my state or state government, I'd tell you. Regardless of where I reside.

I'd tell you the breakdown cost for every project, the monies owed, the people owed, the uncompleted and completed projects, the IGR, the loopholes and every other information. So much so you'd think I've never been to anywhere else in my life because I'm obsessed with the information.

So much so, I get mentioned by other Akwa Ibomites and government lackeys on this forum to give my opinion on issues regarding the state (all you have to do is filter-seaech NY moniker in the Politics Section).

Most here don't even know the fraud of multiple millions as pensions their ex-governors get or the budget breakdown annually by their state governments.

State Governments and Governors are allowed too many passes. It should be way more than Buhari, Tinubu, Ariku and Obi.

This is exactly what we are talking about. They would promise heaven on earth during campaigns, but start complaining once they get there, instead of rolling out projects and policies.

By the way, check the links. I don't know who is lying between Adeleke and Oyetola. Aregbesola borrowed a lot, it's so clear to all, but did Oyetola actually borrow a dime? I doubt it.

According to Adeleke, he borrowed #18b only in 4years.
