Donsheddy: You are not being realistic.whether you like it or not, elections in se/ss are prone to rigging.if a whole ojukwu could lose in the east, who is obi? Am not saying obi will lose but in a threw horse race, highest he can get is 65%.he will get 90% in anambra anywhere... Tinubu was instrumental to magnus joining sdp.he is working for tinubu.he dominates ogoni and ogoni gives bloc votes.tinubu can get 100k here.asari declared for tinubu since last year, he is popular and dominant in kalabari .the apc candidate tonye cole is also from here.they can bring 100k votes.another place is abolga where hon UDI odum dominates for apc.buhari got 40k votes here, tinubu can get 50k.but overall, obi will win rivers while tinubu gets 25%.atiku takes last... Do not be deceived.bayelsa is obi weakest point in se/ss.dont be deceived by people at the urban areas,at the rural areas it is apc or pdp... Again, many labour party agents can easily compromise or intimidated on election day and they will allow apc and pdp to manipulate results. Like I earlier said,se and ss turnout will be high but while obi will win se,ss will be shared.by the way,I am from ss. 1 Like |

Igbos, niger-deltans no matter the party they are will no vote APC. Ask any strong politician you know in SE & SS they will tell you party structure is in place for gubernatorial not presidential(these people are not stupid, they know its supposed to be their turn so if tinubu get 2k votes in SS & SE thank God. |

pinacole1: This one is depending on votes of Muslims for Tinubu. But it's only extremist Muslims from the north who will vote for Shettima the true presidential candidate of APC via Tinubu. True northern Muslims are tired of Islamic insurgency with its banditry offshoot in the north. Shettima is a known Boko Haram accomplice. |

garfield1: ASHIWAJU BOLA TINUBU: HE WHO PAYS THE PIPER. BY JAIYEOLA AJASA. The problem of corruption in our society is not with those who know they are corrupt, but with all who belong to it but believe they are not. Jounalists are the worst Nigerians. The genius of Ashiwaju Bola Tinubu was that he found that out even before he returned from his USA sojourn. He knew the baggage he was coming home with. He had a name that was really not his name. He was in the drug business. And he had political aspiration. So, he did what all other politicians with shoddy and murky past in Nigeria have done. Befriend journalists. Make them feel they are so important. When you embrace a leper. He reciprocates the gesture with undying loyalty. Tinubu knew that the fourth estate was the worst estate in the country. Journalists have all the name but are broke and find it difficult to make ends meet. Give them a whiff of money and there is nothing they would not do. Sell their mother as a matter of fact. Corruption in the media is often times a taboo subject. But it is real. Even though it is unethical. Tinubu understood immediately what he was going to do. He looked for the best of the best. Like Dele Alake, Tunji Bello and Bayo Onanuga. Over the years he cultivated their friendship. Bribed them with posts. Important positions, by the way. Even extended the gesture to their family. The evil genius in him got them so entangled in corruption. Because he knew there will be days like these. Who better to have in your camp than good and vibrant minds? Who do you want to speak for you? "Respected journalists, of course." When you intend to break into a house and steal. The gate keeper is the best person to befriend. Genius. Influencing news coverage in the country has been the norm.......for a long time. When you have politicians owning over 97% of the media outlet in the country. It is the cliche of who pays the piper dictating the tune. The rest are government owned. So, it becomes even worse. Where do you then draw the line between doing your job and corruption? To whom lies your loyalty? Your boss or your country? We see negative news about these politicians been suppressed and given a positive spin. Hence the culture of justifiable corruption. When the terrible sin is not a crime. It is actually a vocation. You are putting food on the table for your family. Trying to live. Make ends meet. Where is the corruption when you are only trying to do a job? By protecting your employer. Who pays the piper. Are you going to tell me that experienced and brilliant minds like Dele Alake, Bayo Onanuga and Tunji Bello are stupid and do not know about Yekini Amuda Ogunlere? They have even before you, known about his drug past. But the subtle truth is when you are befriended by the Devil, you are expected to fulfill the unmentioned favor of keeping terrible news about Hell a secret. Consequently, you truly cannot blame these men. What is wrong in putting your employer over country? Heaven can wait when you have to defend and protect the Devil. |

tollyboy5:I was in Ogun state partly last year. You need not tell me the story I know and you need not hide behind one finger. If you claimed, you don't know who MURIC is, then, you're just untruthful and not current with your environment or you're just trying to play save. No enlightened person will come to social media and say he doesn't know MURIC and their activities on religion issue for some years now. Every activities of MURIC are projected towards religion inclination and rooting of Islamic faith and doctrine in south west and Nigeria as a whole. If you don't know, same MURIC has taken a case to supreme court that Sharia court should be establish in south west. All their activities are on how to partition and create religion divisions in south west. All these are not obtainable in the past. |

Many of you does not even understand National politics. If anyone here is sure of this let's drop 50k for the moderator of this forum. Atiku will win 80% of the northern states, NC, NW and NE. Atiku performance in S/S, SE and S/W will shock many of you when results start coming in by February. Tinubu will win Atiku in northern state, I dey laugh, very funny Mordecai: |

Ayosman1: Sometimes, when I see comments from people on this forum, I begin to wonder - this elections, isn't it humans that'll vote, or will a computer allocate votes randomly? Interact with people, get round the country and you would not "get shocked" when election results start coming in. |

You are educated sir. Your type are the people I want to engage on this forum, for a political discuss. Most of this traditional and religious institutions in the North are led by Fulanis oligarchy, even areas that are dominated by Christians in the North, their Emirs are instored by Fulanis. This election, Atiku will beat Tinubu with a wide margin in the three Northern regions quote author=sangresan post=119198784] Reread all the comments from the beginning. Nobody needs your lecture on how Boko Haram was founded and who is sympathizing with it. The person assumed that Shettima was the first choice of the Fulani establishment followed by Atiku. Then, I asked him why Fulani would support Shettima (Kanuri) ahead of Atiku (Fulani). Even a kindergarten student of Nigerian history knows that the Fulani and Kanuri are historical foes. El-Kanemi and Dan Fodio fought several wars. Borno never voted for NPN/NRC/PDP, except on few occasions. Also, Boko Haram is more of Kanuri/Shuwa Arab initiative, while herdsmen/bandits are mostly Fulani. [/quote] |

garfield1: Lol, are you sure you have been to the south south recently? As powerful as Wike is, he is being careful not to drum support for BAT, and here you are mentioning Asari Dokubo, Tonye Cole etc as if they can command people on who to vote. That happens only in the north, my friend. Even Amaechi couldn't pull that off. BAT will get nothing from Rivers. Take that to the bank. It's between AA and PO. Now, while BAT was comfortable with people in the SS voting PO rather than giving their votes to AA, he is becoming scared now. PO is a real challenger now, and has gained enough clout to force a runoff. In any runoff, BAT loses, head or tails. |

Re: States Where Atiku, Tinubu & Obi Will Win In 2023 Presidential Elections - SBM by OsunOriginal: 8:02pm On Dec 16, 2022 |
nlfpmod: I agree with all except Osun state. That PDP won Osun doesn't mean Osun people will sheepishly vote for Atiku like they did for Adeleke. Also, the APC faction that supported Adeleke and tilted the result won't do the same in the presidential election, and Adeleke's brother won't open his vault this time around to secure a victory for Atiku. 1 Like 1 Share |

OGHENAOGIE:Point of correction; I didn't smoke b4 commenting and we r not talking about party only but candidate inclusive. If it party alone, LP won't win Anambra let alone oda SErn states. Atiku can't win Edo as easy as you think. After all Edo has never been massively won by either PDP or APC before. If Kwankwaso sticks with his ambition till election day, he'll win Kano easily.
