I have followed this thread from page one down to this very last page. Although it took me weeks settling down to read everything word for word, but alas, the goal was achieved.

First of all, I want to commend the moderator for taking this bold step towards passing a message to adults and younger generations out there. I do hope the purpose of this thread will be duly met, because sincerely speaking, there is not, there has never been, and there will never be a gain in cultism.

I wept going through this thread, as well as some other thread here on Nairaland crusading against cultism and its ills to the society at large. I have seen Very vibrant lives cut short at their very peak. Taking a philosophical look at the world, you all will understand that there is nothing in this world. Think about it this way, you die and you are gone… you will be forgotten forever, like you never existed.

Take a closer look at the memo of every cult group out there and you will understand that it’s all the same ten and ten pence. Some would say they are fighting for equal rights, the other will say they are fighting against oppression, but in the end, they all speak the same language of violence, destruction, etc. Now who fights against oppression by taking people into the bush, whipping their backs and asses for hours, spitting alcohol into their eyes, then handing over a gun, axe, or dagger to them respectively as the case may be. Isn’t that to unleash the demon in the individual? To make them void of conscience and sympathy? And only to make them murderers? The moment you join, they now make you realize you in a game of death.

When my grand mother had a dog in the village, this dog was very cool. They called it “bingo”. My grandmother noticed bingo was a cool dog, but she wasn’t satisfied. She wanted it to be toughened up, so one very good day, she held bingo and spit alcohol into its eyes three times. Bingo cried because of it felt hurt from the alcohol entering its eyes. What happened next? Bingo became very violent, to the extent that it got beyond control. My grandmother lost control of bingo. Bingo who was a cool dog before then, who rarely barked at visitors, finally became a torn on the flesh. It never allowed visitors to come into the compound, excepted it’s chained somewhere. One day, bingo stripped a visitor naked and bit him mercilessly because it wasn’t chained. Bingo’s quest for blood graduated to the point that it became a hunter. At night it will go hunting and return with three big bush meats. It was fun to my grandmother with the new development of fresh meat every night until she lost control of bingo because it constantly harassed visitors, even familiar faces. My grandmother became frustrated that she had to sell bingo to people who later killed it and used it for pepper soup.

That is exactly what cultism is doing right now. That’s why you will see a very quiet person before now turning into a conscienceless, cold-blooded murderer! See, do not deceive yourselves by claiming cultism is just a game when it is not. The moment you join, you’ve automatically sold your soul to the devil. Now you wonder why your lives are on the line? Why you run non-stop? Because you’re on a death row. How can you bath in the river and still allow soap get into your eyes? How can you walk with your eyes wide open into a heavily burning furnace? There is no sugarcoating to cultism.

As for those who derive joy in derailing this thread as well as the lovely message it is passing, trust me, that thing you are looking for, you will meet it in front. For those always threatening others on here, who are always feeling like one Superman or the other, let me tell you that there is no Superman anywhere. When you are caught and surrounded, you will understand that even your supposed protection will leave you. Why do you think even those with protection still run? Because they know that the protection is just a temporary shield.

In Africa as a whole, Nigeria is the only country exporting cultism and you all think it’s something to be proud of abi? Make them know me as hard man. Ok Na, when time reach to be hard man, make you hold your ground tight. Don’t ever run o so we will know the level of your immortality. One of my cousins is now acting like a lunatic because him Dey get brain touch from time to time. Do you know why? All the people him don kill they torment am day and night. No cultist ever has peace of mind. They can never have it.

Sometimes when I hear cult wars, I will laugh and tell myself that, see, these people are senseless. Why not bring the two people that had issues to have a fight to the death? Won’t that be a simple problem solved Instead of involving the whole group? They should fight with bare knuckles without weapons until they get tired. But you see the evil of cultism? You slap me and a lot of people will die as a result.

As for the moderator, I won’t judge you for the way you chose to live your past life. Judgement is for the Lord. But the truth is that he who has shed blood must surely pay same way. So make peace with your maker as that is what you need at this point. Take a look at apostle Paul in the Bible, although he was fighting a just cause, but because of the innocent saints he killed in the process, he suffered. He was jailed, tortured etc. that is where you will know that no sin goes unpunished. I’m saying this for those that are thinking, “no worry, I go join, then I go repent”. Trust me, you won’t make it alive, and even if you manage to, you will still pay for it somehow. Let he that has an ear hear before it is too late

On another note, what is this nonsense I see going on in Lagos? Cultists will surround their rival, force him to cap, identify himself then shoot him on the head. Instead of the victim to know it is over and at least make peace with his maker, they will still cap. Over 7 videos I have seen of this evil trend. Can the law enforcement do something about this or are they enjoying the natural cleansing process?
Cultism just puts you at risk to unnecessary assassination, which is exactly what it is. Why join cultism when it cuts your life short?
