As intrigues around the 2023 general election heighten, the powerful ex-generals are alleged to be backing the candidature of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, writes Gabriel Emameh https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2022/12/18/2023-are-the-ex-generals-actually-backing-obi/ 49 Likes 6 Shares

No, they are all lying to him, every one knows Obi started his campaign too late when, almost every power broker has taken sides, that's why till date no valuable politician is with Obi, even amongst his own tribe. ex-generals that can't draw governors, senators, HOR, and other elites are useless... Obi is alone, his eyes would soon open like it did during PDP primaries.. Atiku is next, say no to rookies and drug barons 38 Likes 19 Shares |

BigSarah:The only downside to Obi contesting is that he is not a perennial contestant like Atiku who only craves to improverish Nigeria with corruption. Atiku will lose to SDP in third place 101 Likes 4 Shares |

The ex generals have seen it all. They're wiser and more informed than you think. Most of them want the best for the nation, reason why they support Obi. Meanwhile, Ugwanyi is useless in Enugu State. 129 Likes 10 Shares |

The same ex generals that destroyed Nigeria and silent Nigerians. Now they have lost relevance and they know Obi is perfect political puppet for them to use. Those generals are pained. Fela exposed all of them. We are wiser now, Jagaban all the way. Grandma has something to tell the ex generals 27 Likes 5 Shares

Everyone know that Obi is the best choice. Again the old generals are trying their best to offer last hope of having Nigeria on right track. Only one tribe is dragging this nation back 34 Likes 4 Shares |

Your Excellency is not what we should answer as a matter of convenience. Before you answer to that title, you must be excellent in your ways .what lies at the root of this is that the process that threw you up in itself must be excellent. Remember that excellence comes after fair ,good and very good. - Peter Obi 12 Likes 1 Share |

Dear Patriotic Nigerian, if you know the amount of resources financially, physically and spiritually deployed by Jagabandits and the rest to stop you, you will really come to praise yourself for what your patriotism has achieved without being given a Kobo. The enemies of our destiny are not giving up hence we shouldn't. It is very normal to have doubts and feel discouraged after the attacks but seeing what will face us and our children if we don't take back our future now, it's absolutely not normal to remain in doubts and be discouraged Jump up and fight more for your enemies are almost decapitated o you patriot! 20 Likes 3 Shares |

PrinceOfLagos: They can back him all they like. They do not have the influence anymore to make him president. There are people of voting age that do not even know when these generals were in power. Did Obasanjo who they may remember and these ex army generals not back Atiku last time around….how did that go? 4 Likes 1 Share |

No sensible elder is backing that lying machine. Obi at best should be the chairman of the Nigeria Bureau of Statistics, since he knows how to cook up useless figures and percentages that doesn't help the common man Atiku all the way 3 Likes 2 Shares |
