Most core northerners that supported APC and Buhari in 2019 on this forum have left the party and threw their weight behind Atiku..

So why were they pretending to be supporting APC as a party instead of telling us that they are actually Buhari supporters?

Why were they deceiving Tinubu supporters all these years creating an impression that they belong to the same camp even when they don't?

If these educated northerners on this forum could drop a party politics for ethnic/regional politics, how much more ordinary amaljiri on the street?

I know lots of northerners, both Christians and Muslims alike, who are supporting Peter Obi and Tinubu as well. Don't let anyone deceive you OP. Northern votes will be shared among the 3 of them. Southern Kaduna used to be unrepentant pdp members and supporters since 1999. Last night while watching channelstv, they openly supported and endorsed Peter Obi, an igboman for that matter.

The northerners are smarter than Yoruba. Yoruba are the weakest link we have in the south.

Most PDP supporters from SE and SS who claim to be staunch PDP members have left the party and be supporting Obi because of religion and ethnicity.

If Wike who is a SS had emerged as PDP candidate, would they have thrown thier weight behind Obi

The problem with most of you is that you see the world from a prism of ethnicity and regionalism, it impedes on your ability to make unbiased projections and draw inferences.

It's why some people believed northern Apc wanted to retain presidency through Ahmad Lawan (assumptions an unbiased kindergarten politician won't make) or why northerners are supporting Atiku ahead of Tinubu or Obi.

Until you start understanding things as they are and removing your biases, you will always remain in that place of perpetual mistakes.

You’re spot on! Even when there was agreement amongst the owners of Nigeria to hand power over to a Yoruba in 1999 and 2003, i seem to remember the core north muslim voters didn’t get the memo as they stubbornly voted for Buhari!

Its not about ethnic politics.

Atiku is far better than Tinubu. I am a Southerner but I will rather vote Atiku than Tinubu.
