Ppr doesn't guarantee u 100% and LOI also doesn't guarantee you 100% . Your final eligibility is at POE.
My pof was confirmed after dey received my pp, before counterfoil, meanwhile my eligibility is not yet completed, which means assume my pof is not valid dey go redecide their decision by rejecting the application and return ur pp.

Hello House,

I will like to seek advice especially from anyone who has done/witnessed something similar.

My sister who studied Biochem has been doing business fulltime in the last 3-4 years wants to study Medical Office Mgt. Our concern is how to approach the key points in her visa application SOP drafting.

I will greatly appreciate any advice or suggestion on how best to position her visa SOP and salient points that may help with the difference in first degree and projected study.

Thank you.

My wife application was refused yesterday

A year diploma and deposited 2500 from sponsor account in Canada

The application was packaged with third party sponsors account one of the sponsor a PR in Canada with foreign account balance of 50,000CAD while the co sponsor in a business man in Nigeria with also a dollar account worth 50,000CAD and her personal saving account just 2m.

Secondly! while VO also gave a reason and concerned about home ties after listed all this as home tie with i.e her job as federal government staff, spouse international passport, child, simblings birth certificate and 2 landed property survey plan with deed of gift

Please what can I do different because I'm tired of this Canada stuff after waisting time for 3moths

They are not her sponsors, they just have money to show. Your application was pooooooooorly prepared!

That may not be enough .. show proofs that in the past the sponsor had one way or the other been committed to helping your wife . Or have one of the sponsor pay her tuition or part of it from his acct

Permit me to vent
Ircc is messing with my mental health. It would have been better if they said their processing time is 15weeks or less! Than stating 9weeks. I don't even know what to say again... school fees paid, my school is resuming in 3 weeks, course registration is ongoing and ending on Tuesday!

Ordered cbsa @6week, returned @8weeks with no news...just medical Passed.

App is over 9weeks now... no eligibility review. Nothing new to give me hope.
My chest is paining me

Hello Army,

I understand your state, but please try and keep your mind busy/occupied with other things.

For us all, please let's not use the timelines stated by IRCC as benchmarks. NOO. please when you're applying, zero your mind that it may even stay up to a year without a decision. Yes, I know I may sound odd, but it is for your own mental health sake. Is better to zero your mind that it won't come early and it comes early, than puting your mind to the timelines stated by IRCC only to get your mental health worked up.

Please be strong and keep pushing. Keep your mind off your profile and if possible just be checking it max twice a week.

Someone here shared his experience, he said it was awesome .
You should enjoy them too provided u don’t care about the long hours of their flight .when I checked online as I was planning ahead bfor ircc served me bfast , most of their flights to Canada are within 30hrs to 45hrs, their stopover in doha is about 7hrs plus

A technical glitch is not limited to Nigerian system. Even the best technology can malfunction, and IRCC has had such instances

I never mentioned that PPR guarantees a study permit. PPR is requested when they want to issue you a visa to obtain your permit.

I concur with the points you have made. But, for now, I’m not sure why. Was this response received before or after you received a message that your passport is ready for collection? An application is inprocess until a visa is issued or refused.
Simti:
Hello house;
Compliments!!

@ bull striker

I understand that final eligibility is at the point of entry but in a situation whereby your passport is requested for and you get a refusal afterwards based on your course of study and your application not being consistent with a temporary stay in Canada.
I believe if an application should be refused after PPR, it should be for serious issues like medical reasons, POF and all that.
Refusal based on intended course of study after PPR Is confusing because those are the first things I believe the VO will consider.

What are your thoughts please?
Does this attached response from IRCC mean that the application is still in process or is it a generic message?

The 3rd sponsor you mentioned, are they related to you or your wife by blood. Have they done anything to support your wife in the past

Your SOP should cover everything from describing yourself to your return back to Nigeria. Have paragraphs explaining every detail, that's where explaining your POF (self sponsored or third party sponsored) would come in.

You just mentioned the documents for proving a relationship exists, I'm not sure which other one you might be referring to.
[/quote

Alright. Thanks.

Pls which category do i fall in on the IRCC portal?

Pls, I would like you to help me review my SOP and other documents before I submit my application. Plsss!

I never mentioned that PPR guarantees a study permit. PPR is requested when they want to issue you a visa to obtain your permit.

Actually PPR is normally issued after your study permit has been approved. I know this because I got my GCMS notes after getting my PPR and it said that my study permit was approved.

They issue the visa after your study permit has been approved but the study permit gets issued in Canada.

I have read on this thread where someone used his crypto to get PPR. He was not having a good bank statement so he included his crypto and a piece of land.

I see this Canada thing as a game of luck

It is indeed a game of luck and every application is unique. In my application, the only POF I submitted was my sponsor's(dad) company MBS. And they've been warnings against using only company account as POF. I had already applied, so I just hoped everything turned out well, and it fortunately did.
