Let's start from GK.... and yes current Super Eagles players.
Uzoho is the only one I can say is at least average. There is maduka, Adeleye, Osigwe and potentially Arthur.

Get to your point please

Look at Bielsa for instance. When he took over Newells Old boys, he scouted over 2000 players. It was during this scouting process that he discovered Pochettino. He came to Pochettino's house and met the boy sleeping. He just looked at his legs and knew he was a good footballer.

Bielsa also plays a high intensity pressing system. You can't play for him it you can't work hard.

His Newells team turned out a success.

Same philosophy goes to the national team. Thorough scouting. Identify brilliant talents that fit into a high intensity system and nurture them from there.

Have a growth plan for the team with milestones to judge growth.

Story. So when Babawo Mohammed saw Mikel on the street playing and believed he found the best player in the country, that was not a great talent.

At that time Mikel was not nurtured in anyway. As soon as Eguavoen saw him, he was convinced. As soon as Alex Ferguson saw him, he saw brilliance.

Mbok, there is great talent.

So when he was at the Pepsi academy for how many years, he was eating puff puff and watching Netflix abe ❓❓❓

Then he left to Lyn and he was eating fish and chips and not developing his talent.

He unearthed a great potential quality player that needed to be developed.

Calm down bro. We want to scrutinize our so called world class players one after the other. We are starting from GKs.

Glad you list out the names, can you help with clubs, achievements so far too? Same Uzoho you rated was warming bench at his club, guess you know?

Mikel joined Pepsi academy after Babawo Mohammed saw him. At that time, Kashimawo Laloko, who is the brain box behind Pepsi academy received Mikel. Laloko said as soon as Mikel played, he knew he had found the best player in the country.

Note, Mikel just arrived Pepsi academy and stood out.

Remember, as soon as Laloko played Mikel, he knew he had landed the best player in the country.

Mbok, there are great talents.

It really depends on what you mean by success.

I can assure you more than 75% are professional players across Europe . That dossier has the creme de la creme of top potential players in Europe.

You may find there are only 3/4 players on that dossier in some EPL clubs and some have none.

You are making wild assumptions not based on experience of engagement but what, I really don't know.

Go and review. I can bet you that it is less than 3/4.

You are the one that make wild assumptions of things you don't know like trying to promote a false theory that our recent successful u17 were over aged, despite science being on their side.

Banscovelli has been doing great jobs on this board with clips and info of our local players, but seem we don't care!

We'll rather hope for a player in Cyprus league gets a callup over a player playing and balling well for Enyimba.

Maybe you should go read your first post again. I never implied any of the players are world class. How many players in the Morocco current squad can be tagged as world class yet they made the top four. Now let me ask you, WHO ARE THE WORLD CLASS PLAYERS IN THE LOCAL LEAGUE THAT YOU THINK ARE GOOD FOR THE NATIONAL TEAM?
You want us to fill the national team for players in the NPFL, a league where lower clubs sell their slot to relegated bigger clubs.
Your idea may work in the next 6 years or so but currently, it will be a disaster.

Now l agree with you when a player is scraping the bottom of the pot in some anonymous back water league and is just making up the numbers in his club.

Who says he is better than the outstanding player in Enyimba, not me. They should both be given by a chance to compete in the SE.

If it was that Chukwueze is not a part of this team, you'd have heard it cried up endlessly how wrong the coaches are for not featuring him. His ability with the ball will be mentioned, his speed, his ability to work magic in tight spaces and sundry other qualities would be writ large and pumped up. But Chukwueze is in the team so it's quietness on that score.

Am I saying Chukwueze is not good? Nope. I'm saying that some watch out for players who are not part of the team and bend the whole of their analysis to rest on the absence of such players. If Moses is there, they will cry for Ejuke, if Ejuke is there they will cry for Moses.

If the player they mentioned is invited, they move on to the next absentee and on and on
Overwise, Baba!!!!

We should think in line of gems. Just as diamond finders go into a large piece of land and search it in search for diamonds.

Think of the numerous sand, stones they search through until they find diamonds.

That is how we should treat our local League, other leagues in Africa, Asia and Europe.

With a clear direction of the kind of players that will fit into our creative high intensity system. We will end up with the right crop of players.

Then keep improving it with thorough review of the team, and age grade players.

Ejuke has only played 3 matches for SE while Moses Simon has played 53 matches.. so you should take your own advice of don't compare with Ejuke.

For club, Moses Simon probably has a better agent than Ejuke because Moses Simon has played in more top leagues than Ejuke and has been playing in Europe longer than Ejuke..

Obviously Simon has more experience than Ejuke but changes have to be made in the wings of the S.E or you won't any changes in the team even if they bring in new midfielders and they will fail to qualify for the next world cup if the wingers aren't been substituted for others..

you should take your own advice of don't compare with Ejuke.
ejuke has 8 apps for us. And the agent talk?? Comical at best

Moses Simon is the highest paid in his team. He starts every game for them. Practicality their best player. What you talking about?

MRI cannot give u specific age that's empirical evidenced peer group reviewed and proven.

That being the case what is over age to you.

We no longer have Uncles pretending to be teenagers at U17 level. But there is no MRI at U20 level.

But even with the U17 level it's possible for a 21 year old to be classed as U17.

Now in comparison to teenagersvin the West with enhanced nutrition, good health care delivery and far better training facilities plus other environmental factors to have quicker bone fusion than a malnourished child in sub Saharan Africa.

These variables have been well researched and proven.

Now add to the equation out penchant for age creation, why do you think that age cheating no longer exist just because of MRI ❓

It definitely restricts it massively but it cannot completely eradicate it. Because we do not have automatic birth data capture by government. We rely o the integrity of individuals.

You will be surprised how many academy director and agents come to me talking about this players and that player from Nigeria.

I went to a local academy in Lagos last year, the coaching just like the facilities was abysmal. I didn't know where to start everything was outdated and highly inept.
Name the academy?

My point remains fair competition and from what I see, Chidera can ball. His touch is also crispy. I will like a fair run of games for Chidera to judge. Simon can have repeated poor games and still get a nod. While Chidera is just literally out of the team.

Sorry, I disagree with this and believe something is definitely wrong with our team selection.

Malnourishment and stunted growth was put into the study by the FIFA committee before recommending the wrist MRI scan because of it's high accuracy. Unless you don't understand what high accuracy is. The ratio is literally marginal that it formed an almost perfect system.

I repeat, young players can fail but it is very difficult for players older to pass.

No one said it completely eradicates age cheating but it is now the accepted criteria. Field only players that pass the wrist MRI scan.

So, our u17 players within the criteria beat European players from fancy academies. No need trying to squeeze a false theory of uncles into the discussion.

Finito.

I've said this before years ago a EPL club was very interested in a local player Sunday Mbah, I know what bottle necks were out in place to stop it happening. This was when Amaju was running things at local level and his head ️ had not swollen as NFF President

Even before Etebo was invited to national team I was looking at him in Warri Wolves, yes under the sun in Warri township stadium.

I have a network of local coaches and national team coaches that l relate with.

So your assumptions are wrong and your attitude on a faceless forum for an elder reprehensible.

I can beat my chest and say Amarabat is as good as them. His close control in tight spaces is up there as Gundogan.

My point is that we need to raise the bar of the kind of talents we are looking for.

We need to keep searching for players that have the talent to compete with the best and keep building them.
