rippa: First of all, before we start listing projects, let me tell you that Fashola rejected 17 honorary awards while he was governor of Lagos state, including ThisDay Governor of the Year Award for distinction in infrastructural development . Peter Obi na baby where Fashola dey. |

rippa: I think you are the one who is deluded. Peter Obi did absolutely nothing worthy in Anambra, that is why his only achievement is that he saved money even though that lie has been debunked by Obaino. Go to Lagos and look at all the massive projects going on there. When Obi was investing in a brewery, Fashola was flagging over 20,000 metric tons rice factory and other people-oriented projects. Peter Obi is just an overhyped failure. 1 Like 2 Shares |

There is something I like to point out to people who make it seem like it is an achievement not to borrow. There is nothing bad with borrowing money. The truth is that no state in Nigeria (not even Lagos state) can initiate world class projects without borrowing. But Peter Obi, who had yet to turn Anambra into Dubai, could not borrow. He had no world class capital project to embark on besides hospitals and roads which any government can embark on even in poor South Sudan. Look at Lagos state. You don't plan smart cities like Eko Atlantic on federal allocations and IGRs. Yet, Obi was busy saving. |

God forbid that Obi becomes our president. We will be doomed as a people. Hunger will put an end to the most of us because the man would rather you starved than borrow. And if he won't borrow, he would overtax you to meet the government's financial obligations. If Obi does not borrow, how will he embark or continue the massive capital projects started by previous administrations. We all want bullet trains, electric trams, world class industrial plants. How do you think we can achieve that on our current revenue? We don't need a saver as president. We need someone who is ready to take risk, ready to inject funds into capital projects, and many more. Not someone who does not know what to do with money, and so he keeps it in the bank till the money loses value over time. We need someone with a great sense of judgement who can invest right, who has foresight, and is a team player. Not someone who is just all about himself. His usual words "I, I, I. I did this. I did that". No team to reference. Just him. |

rippa: Why not share his achievements then? Imagine Tinubu as governor of Anambra with its many millionaires and billionaires. Anambra's IGR will be massive today. Obi is a failure abeg. Someone who can't see opportunities other than saving money in the bank. Anyways, what can one expect from a businessman? Government is not buying and selling. Government involves both finance and fiscalis programs. Tinubu is way ahead of Obi. Just go and look at Lagos IGR growth from 1999 to 2022. In 2021, Lagos IGR was 753.46 billion naira. That was more than the total federal allocation for 2021 that was shared by 35 States. How did Obi harness the wealth of Anambra? Compare it to how Tinubu harnessed the wealth of Lagos. Currently, Lagos is the 7th fastest growing city in the world. |

rippa: Tinubu did nothing in Lagos state yet before Tinubu came, Lagos was dependent on federal allocations. After 8 years of Tinubu, Lagos was financially independent. Where is Anambra on the list of richest States in Nigeria despite having the highest concentration of US dollars millionaires in cash and asset in Nigeria. Imagine an Anambra being governed by Tinubu. |

BluntTheApostle:Oga rest na Anambra would been the worst state uf Tinubu had govern there. Imagine using the little money Anambra have to build the nation newspaper, TV continental, renaissance hotel, oriental hotel, max FM, falomo shopping complex etc for himself and family alone. Tinubu reck Lagos. Despite the huge allocaton he claimed to have generated, he left billions of naira in debts for Fashola without any tangible project to show for it. Are u just senseless. If i begin expose Tinubu sins, u all will cry. I was born and brought up in Lagos. Before tinubu became gov, i know how lagos was. So rest and face front Tinubu used Lagos resources to enrich himself |

rippa: Ode, Lagos revenue was nothing to write about until Tinubu. Sink that into your skull. Secondly, only a fool would say Tinubu had no tangible project. You dey mad! The development of Lekki, Ajah, banana island, Eko Atlantic city etc were all brain child of Tinubu. BRT was Tinubu's. Lekki trade zone plus Lekki seaport was Tinubu's. Tinubu also built general hospitals in all the local government which he increased to 24 local government by himself. He built Several housing units in each local government. Also his millennium schools and gigantic LASU teaching hospital and etc.. Meanwhile, Tinubu isn't responsible for your misforrrtune. Go face your governor in your region and leave Tinubu out of your stupidityyyyy. |

Tinubu is a thief and must not be allowed anywhere close to the national treasury. Anyone that love Nigeria must make sure Tinubu never get hold of our national resources. If he can u use the resources of just lagos to make him over rich over night, imagine what he will do with our national resources. |

diadem10:Tinubu is one of the useless leaders in my state and he must be dragged. he embezzled all the money that is supposed to be used for the development of my state. how can a state as small as Lagos cant compete with the best cities in the world despite the huge allocations it generate monthly. Lagos allocation alone is more than that of 20 states combine, yet we still have slums. Niger state is 20times bigger than Lagos. if the revenue Lagos generate is well used, Lagos would have been the best city in the world considering the small size and the huge amount of resources. Tinubu embezzled all for the past 20yrs. he and his family must be chased out. he must not come near the national treasury. he is the biggest thief and the most corrupt politician alive in Nigeria right now. again he is drug pusher. God forbid him |
