Buccalcavity2: Do you know that if you buy Securities above 50k in cash, you have breached the law? Do you also know that if you carry out a transaction above 5m as an individual and the person pays you in cash you don enter? Can you see that the conviction is not about what the money was used for but rather around the fact that he took the money in cash? Do you know that the person that gave him this cash is a free man? It's clearly political bro. 1 Like 1 Share |

Joevics: Go to school many of you refused, once u are convicted, u are an ex convict whether u serve jail or u take the option of fine, except for civil cases like slander, or traffic offence or contempt of court. Okupe by his conviction and payment of fine is now an ex convict and can no longer hold public office. But Obi is free to keep him as DG oh, that's not public office but it actually tells us how shallow Obi is, he can't even do due diligence on his appointees, what a calamity, what a disaster 4 Likes 1 Share |

Buccalcavity2: How is it lenient? Do you even know the flimsy charge against the guy? He's charged with accepting cash payment above what's stipulated by law. That is, he accepted too much money in cash. There would have been no problems if he accepted a cheque of that same amount. No one should go to jail for that. Fine is the way to go 2 Likes 2 Shares |

They thought they could use Okupe's case to stain Obi movement it is damn too late to stop the moving train,Buhari came and turned the fruitful land into a wilderness just in the space of less than 8years.We need neither APC nor PDP at the critical time but a paradigm shift. 1 Like 1 Share |

So Doyin Okupe is a Convict already? Let's wait to see whether a CONVICTED FELON can participate in partisan politics, as an official of a party or as Candidate's stalwart. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I am sure EFCC will appeal that judgement. The sentence is a slap in the wrist for stealing 200 million. Obi is surrounded by thieves and rogues who ruined nigeria by embezzling our wealth. And they are claiming to be saints and want to give us a new era. They are scammers. Nigerians will vote Tinubu and he will win this election. 1 Like |

Buccalcavity2: Payment of Fine or not, he's an ex convict and he required Pardon of Mr President before he can hold any position in government or be on the Board of any quoted company in Nigeria or he waits for 10 yrs. This is the position of the law. When we said Doyin Okupe is a thief you obidients said we were lying. He was part of the rot in the system. Obasanjo called him Okupe ole. He stole from Jonathan too but he's quick to abuse Tinubu. You obidients made him a saint since he began to labour in vain. 1 Like |
