If actually Mbape's made this claim the way it is, then he is either more corrupt or fully supports the corruption.

If not, what stops him from calling the name or names of the officials involved as a step towards exposing and curbing the shameful and evil act?

I sincerely believe that if anyone involved in corruption of any kind (especially in sports) is publicly dragged on social media, the rate of corruption will drastically reduce.

My submission.

You are calling a man old enough to be your grandfather or great grandfather a cow?!

This shows to Nairalanders the kind of home you were raised, and how you address your people at home!
I wont say more than that.

Kylian Mbappe's father in 2018: “At first, I wanted my son to play for Cameroon but, someone at the Cameroon Football Federation charged a sum of money that I didn’t have to make him play.
The French didn’t charge anything.”

This is how terrible corruption has affected Africa! Imagine all the stars African nations would have had if they didn't ask players to bring money before selecting them to play.

Don't ever blame any player of African origin for playing for European nation.
Embolo was asked for bribe but he didn't have money so he went to play for Switzerland, he scored against Cameroon, his motherland in the World Cup and Africans came out to curse him!

Until we change our attitudes, "pay before you play", African football will forever remain where it is!

He was right. My younger brother was asked to pay 2.5m naira before they will give him work at UCH Ibadan, Oyo State. We paid 200k before they will give him slot to go for housemanship program in the same school he graduated from, after spending to 2years at home. Corruption is our major problem in Africa

The truth is bitter.

I don't care how long he has said it.

I don't see any corrupt African country especially Nigeria winning the world cup in the next century, except there is a change.
The Corruption isn't confined to football alone. If corruption isn't reduced to its bearest minimum in Africa, I'm sorry but development will be very far from us.

When Donald Trump called Africa a shithole, especially Nigeria, Some of you thought he didnt know what he was saying. When you hear Corrupt System, just know that its is the Politicians. Because they are the people that make the laws that is refereed to as "SYSTEM". These elites make laws to favour just them and their kids. Thats why they cant Ban Public office holder from sending his kids to study abroad, medical treatment abroad, Mandatory probing and prosecution of Public office holder after leaving office, etc. That is why somebody as corrupt as Tinubu will come out and say Its his turn to loot the country treasury, Somebody like Atiku will come out and wants to be president. Atiku was part of the Abacha cabal that finished Nigeria oil money, Tinubu has been looting and is still looting Lagos state dry. Una must get sense by force if any of this 2 criminals win come 2023.

Like Black African teams, like Black African “Countries”. See “Nigerians”….are all of them not either Chelsea fans, or Liverpool Fans, etc…., but when you tell them let us be like the British, with home nations like Oduduwa, Arewa, Biafra, maybe we can have two of them at World Cup like England and Wales did, but instead they get angry…….. so angry because you are not fighting to uphold what white people created for their childrens benefit……

That’s blackie for you….

MAYBE HE HASN'T MENTIONED A NAME BECAUSE HE IS LYING.

MANY AFRICANS DON'T MIND THROWING THEIR COUNTRY & CONTINENT UNDER THE BUS BEFORE 'WHITES', TO MAKE THEMSELVES FEEL IMPORTANT.

You have even Nigerians going broad and claiming political asylum on the comical grounds that Boko Haram is after them.

So why should we automatically believe what Mbappe's dad is saying?

His shame at his son playing for the colonialists may have made him lie against, and smear his own country to justify himself, when asked the question of why he chose France.

This means that the saying "Africans are monkeys are partially true"

And Russia dropping bombs on innocent white women and children means the saying ''Europeans are monkeys'' is totally true.

Hitler sending 6 million whites, including children, to the gas chambers means the saying ''Europeans are savage, demonic monsters'' is totally true.

America slaughtering 2 million innocent Iraqis just to control their oil industry shows the saying that ''the white man is the devil'', is totally true.

ASSWIPE.

I can’t see where Mbappe’s father made this statement. Most likely made up quotes. Personally, I don’t believe it. At 18/19, Mbappe was already a star and was very well under France’s grip. I don’t think they ever considered playing for Cameroon.
It's actually a fake story.
