CaptainFM1:Just typing trash! How does reducing redrawal limit link to your post? How do banning naira card from making international transaction improved the economy? Do you know how many technology business are being frustrated because of stupid policies. Most of you are celebrating because you think it's tinubu that is suffering it. 1 Like |

ogwumgbe: Best governor? Is that an irony? Or maybe he is from your tribe. Emiefele will turn out to be the worst governor in Nigeria's history. His policies are not well thought out, apart from the grievious allegations of corruption hanging over him. He wants to change the Naira next week, and there is not enough new naira in circulation now. The new naira note I hear is very inferior to the old ones and looks fake. My wife told me market women are rejecting it. There had not been any sanitization of the populace to it. His foreign currency management is terrible His micro and macro economic management are disasterous. 2 Likes |

Not only this, he turned the CBN into an intervention agency. Imagine the CBN putting out a tender for the setting up of a social media monitoring and censoring platform. |

ogwumgbe: Forget politicians. The political class play their game of thrones during elections and make up to steal our collective wealth later. Emefiele's policies affect me and the masses directly. Apart from the devaluation of the Naira which is causing runaway inflation. Most Nigerians can't do legitimate business online because of terrible CBN policies. I need to renew my domain and hosting in January and I don't know how to go about it yet. 1 Like |

lereinter: ......Daily withdrawal..... 20k is fair. 50k is reasonable too. But, come to think of it....."Civil Servants only earn #18k monthly, and even at that some states are still owing them" Logically, the daily 20k should be sufficient going by what an average Nigerian earns. Notwithstanding, the CBN puts a clause to it that if you are going to withdraw more than the 20k daily, then a certain percentage will be paid...which is very fair. In my own view this is a very good policy for the poor masses because all they earn can be withdrawn in one day anyway.

ogwumgbe: His job is not to reduce looting and corruption. That's the job of the police, EFCC, code of conduct Bureau and the ministry of finance. His job is to manage Nigeria's monetary policy, stabilize the currency and thus the economy and manage inflation. 1 Like |

CaptainFM1: You stay in big cities and project the rest of Nigeria to your personal experience. Have you been to riverine villages in the Niger Delta where you go on 3 to 4 hours boat rides to access from the main city? Such villages got no banks. There are hundreds if not thousands of such communities in the north, West and middle belt. Then we start talking about internet or network access to operate digital banking. Not all communities have electricity not to talk of network. I don't quarrel with digital banking, but it has to be done slowly, tactically and innovatively, and not rushed haphazardly as it is being done. |

I cant make international transaction due to stupid policies you're just beating round the bush with irrelevant policies that has done nothing. |

bdon123: Now I know why Kanu was able to deceive his people that the real Buhari is dead and the man in Aso rock is a cloned Jibrin from Sudan. Kanu knew that his people are the most foolish, stupid and idiotic beings among the creatures and lo and behold they swallowed the lie hook line and sinker. If not, theu would have known that Sanusi did not do half of what Emefiele has done yet Jonathan sent him packing. Where in the world do you see a sensitive and independent institutution like CBN dabbling to politics as Emefiele did? I was expecting all reasonable Nigerians to demand for the removal of this useless governor long time ago when he was interested in contesting for presidency to the extent of going to court to defend it! Even many gullible foreign lawmakers like lords in Britain are clamouring for the independence of CBN. These wicked foreign interlopers could not take what Nigeria endured with this poltical CBN governor. Can they take it in britain if their Bank of England governor decides to be prime Minister while he is till in office? They think they can bambooze Nigeria to do what they cannot take? And to those useless ipobians, how do you even think that the naira policy will affect Tinubu? How many people do Tinubu give money to by cash? And who told you fools that Tinubu is behind those that are protesting against the CBN governor? Well Kanu has taken over your brains and I am not surprised 1 Like |

ogwumgbe: I am yet to understand the rational behind using whataboutism as a defence to a crime. If my brother should rape a girl, I should demand that unless a neighbour from a different tribe that also raped a young girl must be arrested before my brother can be arrested. The defence should not be whether he commited the crime or not. |

Integrity1992: And did anyone protest against the political highly partisan CBN governor when agains all know decency he indicated to contest for presidency? And many fools who are supporting him now could not demand for his removal then? What a shame really. If Nigeria is not a banana republic, Emefiele would have been sacked. I can't imagine the Bank of England contesting to be Prime Minister while still managing the BoE. Are these people foolish? 1 Like |
