Good morning my people, I recently got this iPhone 11 Pro Max 256gb and it was on iOS 13.6 so I updated to iOS 16.2 , but since I updated my battery drains fast and its showing this message . The battery lasted very well when I was on iOS 13.6 no issues .

Please who has experienced this kind of problem and what’s the possible solution?

My phone also heats up and battery drains faster after I updated from 13.6 to 16.2 also my battery health is showing this message . What’s the solution sir.

You shouldn't have updated to iOS 16.2 cos it has a lot of bugs. I had to downgrade my 13 pro max from iOS 16.2 to iOS 15.6 and I'm definitely not updating again till iOS 17 comes out or till I here there's a significant improvement on iOS 16. You'd have to look for a way to downgrade your phone

Have been looking for ways to downgrade but no option for it . The reason I updated to iOS 16.2 was because some apps I use regularly refused to open unless I updated them , and when I went to the App Store it told me that the apps were only compatible with ios16.2 so I had no option

That's not a battery issue. Go to your battery setting and see if it's showing you peak performance capacity.

Probably the battery has been tampered with before that’s if you didn’t buy it brand new..
Or did you upgrade your OS?
you just have to keep on using it like that or change your device, coz replacing your iPhone battery will just lead to more problems for you.

you just have to keep on using it like that or change your device, coz replacing your iPhone battery will just lead to more problems for you.

I didn’t buy it brand new sha.. I usually charge it mostly with my power bank so before this thing happened I plugged it at night and slept off. When I woke up in the morning the battery is already full and still plugged... I don't know if it's because I over charged it..
The battery is now 85% sef

It could be the battery. Had the same issue back then when I used a 6. My advice? Save up and get rid of that phone.
