Sending an updated POF after topping up your account will not be considered except you were specifically asked by IRCC to send a new statement |

The visa officer is not satisfied that your current employment situation doesn't show you're sufficiently well established and you've also not provided adequate evidence to support your guarantor's income or assets.
Please provide answers to this question and I would advice you appropriately.

It's PPR for my wife (Study permit 22 Dec) and myself (SOWP 23 Dec).
I did everything myself, got all the help and tips from this platform... y'all helped me with your questions and answers....and then I learnt patience here too....trust me we got frustrated waiting ..... especially after reading CBSA NOTES and seeing that nothing was worng since November but no one was working on our file....we sent webforms and emails to them and got only one reply last Saturday.....ok not yet time for stories let's go drop passports first...

Story for another day:
This application has God written all over it ....while waiting for ppr .....Holland College cancelled Jan winter intake till Sept 2023......God helped us get Georgian College in just 2 weeks ...Fees paid through form A to Holland college (this was in July went through from A application to disbursement in just 2 weeks no stress no buttons pressed no insider....)...was sent back to us and we immediately paid Georgian College before their 2 weeks deadline.....this story go long...let me wait first!

From the immigration laws of Canada there is no crime having dual intent, that is having study permit application and express entry. This should not be a problem but this is mostly for people in Europe and US where their country is still good, but for us in Africa dual intent which is not suppose to be a crime has a high chance of negativity affecting your application. You are trying to convince the visa office that you'll go back after your studies and at the same time you have PR profile, that's like contradicting yourself. So if you want to go ahead and apply for both no problem as per immigration law but it all depends on the Visa officer handling your application. cadno:

My Wife is also applying directly for Express entry via the Visa route.

Have anyone realize Ircc have been kind of fast this week. Seem they attending to people accordingly because they started September this week and it has been uniformed now I think they are in early October giving out ppr to people who actually meet their requirement 2 Likes |

@ RuggedArab, From my personal assessment, the VOs were not comfortable with the fixed funds you presented. You need to liquidate and possibly pay larger portion of your tuition fees to show more commitment to your program in view. That some applicants have scaled through using fixed funds doesn't guarantee any/every other person. Every other documents and assets presented are good. I want to believe that other people in the platform have given their honest review which will help you. Do not relent.keep pushing . I hope this helps. RuggedArab:

My SP was refused based on financial asset. I requested for CBSA and the report came in.
I’ll start by saying I don’t know how VO’s sometimes reasons when it comes to applications from young Nigerians (I know being a Nigerian has happened to me)
My Brief background:
- Single applicant
- Working
- tuition fee - approximately 18kCAD
- One year program.
- Paid tuition deposit (2,650CAD)
- I had fixed deposit (All letters were submitted including rollover and liquidation) - N8m
- my bank statement- N6.2m (sponsors N5m + my 1.2m)
- Pension statement - N4m plus
- Coming inflow from my running business contract from one of the biggest Telcom company which will be due first quarter of 2023 (letters attached) - N10m plus
- Sponsor - my mom (transferred N5m to my account with letter of support and affidavit).
- Sponsors occupation- Government sector (Chief Environmental Officer)
- Documentation for Sponsor - employment letter, paystubs, ID, promotion letter, stamped Canada visa (I didn’t submit her bank statement). Sponsor was even in Canada when I applied.
NB: My sibling is a Canadian citizen, I didn’t mention him because:
- I didn’t want the VO to think I can’t sponsor myself, my mom was the best choice.
- To avoid stronger ties in Canada.
- and the school isn’t in same province where he live.
Omo! I go sue this guys with immigration lawyers o! (Na joke I Dey joke lol).
So guys, what do you think I should do differently. Do you think I should use my sibling as sponsor now. I have deferred my admission to May 2023.

My Wife is also applying directly for Express entry via the Visa route.
My question is will the Canada immigration disqualify us ? Since we seem to be using two routes

Does this mean your wife has been issued invitation to apply (ITA) from the Express Entry pool and has applied? 2. Does your wife just apply to be in the pool? 3. What do you mean by "Visa route"? My knowledge of Express Entry is if you apply to be in the pool but have not got Invitation to Apply ITA, you don't consider yourself as having applied for PR via Express Entry. Also, there are only three sub routes for outland applicants in Express Entry, namely; PNP and FST and FSW (direct-- if your CRS is up to 492+ currently). There are various ways to get PNP which is province-, territorial-, municipal-, or rural-specific. 1 Like |

However, Iom Lagos and Qlife no longer accept appointments between now and January. Please what do you think I can do about it? You just have to pick the closest possible date even if u have to travel down to Abuja. I live in Lagos but IOM gave me 21st and Qlife 16th Dec. I got 14th at Abuja and I traveled all the way for it and it was uploaded on 16th. Qlife would have taken 5 to 10days to upload their which was why I opted for Abuja instead. Another alternative is to visit IOM Ikeja in person (as early as 7am) and tell the Customer service person that u have a Medical Request from IRCC. You will be given a date that is within 30days of the request letter. I think you should weigh the situation and act fast. 4 Likes 1 Share |
