Work Authorization approved and got my card June 28 2022, got a Job offer in September at one of the top pharmaceuticals company in the US.

Adjustment of Status for Permanent Residency approved with no interview December 21 2022. (We filed everything ourselves from K1- i485 without getting a lawyer)

Bottom line, come prepared to the state, know that it won’t be easy and everything will take time before eventually falling in place for you, surround yourself with people that are informed and make your own research.

Lastly, do your best and leave the rest for God to handle.

Update!!!

Filed for my AOS on September 29th and got NOA1 for October 4th, biometrics appointment letter was sent on October 9th, did my biometrics on November 1st.

Now the wait continues.

I just made a payment for k1 visa fee online at GTbank instead of going to the location to pay, will I have an issue with this payment method please? I later saw where it says that visa fees for K applicants must be made at GT Bank, i'm worried I might have made a mistake

I am the Petitioner, we recently received our case number after sending inquiry and it is currently still at NVC. Are we supposed to make payment with the case number and invoice number we received? if not please where do we apply the case and invoice number?

I also created an account on the cgi federal website but among the visa lists, it doesn't show k1 visa

Lastly, what are the next steps we need to take while waiting for it to go in transit?

no problem paying online just try and print out the approval because u will need it when going for interview
The case number is just for u to track ur file when it get to Lagos embassy when NVC send it to Lagos ur status online will show ready the account u create u will use to pick a date for ur interview

You can start filling ur ds-160 but don’t submit once ur case shows ready u can submit it

Hello house. Thank you all for the good advice and updates. My fiancee decided to use an immigration lawyer because she felt they would do it better than she will do it. So this last Friday the application was finally submitted to the government by the lawyer. I have being reading it here that the application whole thing can take up to 2 yrs...pls I hope no other things will be needed from me in the course of the application being with them cos I am planning a trip to the UK for april 2023 and I will be there for a while. I wont want to travel and then it said I have to provide something from Nigeria..please that's my question. And pls has anyone had an application process that was not to to two years processing time? Thank you gurus in the house.
