The counterfoil I'm aware of is the one glued to the ppt when it's submitted, I'm not sure of the one that reflects on the portal.
Ppt pickup availability email/SMS comes from vfs where you submitted it and not from IRCC

Seems you picked up your passport yourself. Did you pay any money when you submitted your passport. I submitted myself in lagos where I did my biometric . I didn’t pay any money I even ask the lady if I am to pay any fee and she checked on computer and said no. She ask if I am coming to pickup my passport myself and I said yes. I am tracking the passport it’s showing your processed passport received at vac abuja. Hope it will be sent back to lagos when it’s ready for collection and vfs will notify me to pickup

Ok so my flight was 23rd of of December via Qatar Airways ( 2 stops Doha and Toronto). Costs 1.2

Anyways got to the airport by after 5 because I live close to MMA ( e dey do me say I forget my sponge wey i put for ziploc bag Sef ).

Was asked for my passport and E ticket at the entrance then they wanted only me to go in without my dad, But my dad bless his heart pulled ranks as per immigration officer whey him be with multiple stamps on his passport. Them allow am enter fast fast.

We got to the weight scale and my properties were as follows one Ghana must go the gray one ( 29kg) , one box( 32kg) carry on( didn't weigh)and one laptop bag + hand bag.

The guy weighing the stuffs as per Jim dey find person wey go grease him Palms no gree answer me when I asked him for solution to this whole ordeal baba just say make I reshuffle con go pay 258 or so for excess luggage. I laughed

Anyways my dad had to buy another grey bag 3k when he saw that they were about to lock the gate. I reshuffled, dumped something I didn't need. Ok finally we got to an agreeable weight and the guy as per say I be student tell me say make I hehe commit my Garri because that's what making my bag weigh much. I did so and then after that one I proceeded to the first cubicle where I was asked for my passport and enrollment letter ( naija airport ooh). I gave to the man, he looked and looked at me I was like whahahlur. Finally he pushed me to the next cubicle where I was asked for my passport only before proceeding to check in.

I jammed another whahahlur here oh because these guys weighed my bags and opened their mouth waaaaah saying its too much blah blah blah that he can only push the First grey bag that the second one needs to be reduced. So me wanting to use wuru wuru sense went to remove my white Garri from my bag and put in my hand luggage ( don't mind me I forgot) . Sha after getting my three boarding pass, I moved to immigration where I was asked to place my belongings and all that Sha and remove my shoes ( na for here them confiscate my ijebu Garri, e pain me small, the woman officer con dey give me attitude untop the Garri sef rubbish. )

Got my carryon, my laptop bag and my handbags and now had to run Omo my shoulder almost dislocate

And its cold.. I didn't travel with my vaccine card and they didn't ask although gist plenty.

I paid DHL to dispatch my ppt to VFS Lagos and then picked it in person at their Lagos office as well FOC.

You might need to be specific with what you need help with so someone can assist.

Check both IOM and qlife for a better date, you could also call them to negotiate a better date.

You can get a closer date than what you have online if you go to iom Abuja in person.

That will depend on if you stay in Abuja or can travel to Abuja for medical.

Happy Christmas everyone, Ircc delivered me a Christmas Package by sending me ppr on the 22nd of December, I've sent my passport to VFS Abuja where I had my biometrics. I am now waiting for send it back. If you got a Medical request, you can contact the clinic to notify them cos its a 30 days validity, if not (Upfront Medicals) you have no option than to wait till Jan 16th or you can go to the Clinic in person and explain your reasons, if its sellable to them, then good for you

If you are judging by the bolded, then its a waste of time to be honest..

Canada application is not by who submitted first or last, we all know different applications get assigned to different Visa Officers.

What will take VO A to handle for a month can take VO B to handle 3 months e.t.c..

So take your mind off that route and do what you can do by sending them Emails and webforms as regards your delayed your application..

Since then nothing from them. I have seen a lot of August applicants getting PPR. I just wonder when God will remember me. It’s so frustrating .

I’ve been a silent observer and follower of this platform since March this year and applied for my first study permit which was refused after 3 months then I decided to go all out my second application’ so I reached out to @Makano global services and we robbed minds together ‘ and reapplied on the 3rd of October 2022 and no update since then not even my upfront medicals was updated to passed and I was giving up and was planning to defer as school resumes on the 9th of January until 2 days ago I got an email from Ircc and I checked Medicals was updated ‘ biometrics too and eligibility stated too ‘ I told Makano and he said I shd start making arrangements for flights ticket that a decision has been made ‘ I still didn’t believe ‘ a day later (yesterday) I got another email it was PPR ..I’m currently typing this from VFS Lekki Lagos ‘ I’m so grateful to God ‘ the gurus and Makano for a well written LOE and SOP when I read them ‘ I saw the reasons I was denied the first time !

Just ensure your POF has all the funds needed.
