Unlimitedojay: Just use the search bars and for example look up pof, proof of fund, sponsor, loan, mpower, banks pof etc. There are specific pages but I can’t remember which one because as you said there are many pages. For your sister, she can’t enter with her Nigerian dental certificate. She will need to decide what she really wants To do and how much time and money she wants to commit to the process. She can’t practice dentistry without going back to school in the US and Canada. It’s slightly more easier for the US route but less chances of getting in. For Canada, best thing is to try and reach out to anyone that has gone that route before. If she decides to go to Canada she needs to be aware that she may fully not be able to practice dentistry for a long time. But if she is open to some other things then she should go ahead and enter through school at this time. I hope this helps. 1 Like |

You have covered everything; they don’t usually ask for all of them. You can use the updated bank statement if the funds are still in the account; otherwise, the one used for your application will suffice. As of October 1, 2022, ArriveCan is no longer mandatory. Kukoyimukthar17: |

Greetings house, I paid application & biometric fees online and submitted application online too. I got an email to do biometric at VFS. Do I need to book appointment before going to VFS for biometric? Do I pay VFS also for biometric service? If yes, at what stage would I pay it? Thanks. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by ChubaKC: 5:47am On Dec 26, 2022 |
Kajolplus: Yes, you need to book an appointment with vsf for your biometrics, however, you don’t need to pay again since you’ve paid online during your application. Book an appointment, you’ll receive a confirmation letter for your appointment from vsf. On the appointment day, have with you your biometrics request letter, confirmation of appointment letter, 2 colored photocopies of your passport bio page with your email and phone number written on it, and your original passport. Good Luck! 1 Like |

Compliments House, Please are there people that have applied to Holland College and got approved for students visa. Someone was saying that the college is not popular with the VO and that because the fee isn't as high as others that visa might might denied. Real life experience and the experts advice would be appreciated. Looking at PGD Project Management and not many schools offer the course except in Ontario which I don't want. Thanks |

okay4sure: In order to enter Canada, you must: an immigration visa for Canada (if this applies) Proof of Permanent Residency for each member of your family travelling with you a passport or other appropriate travel document for each member of your family who is accompanying you two copies each of: a thorough list of every piece of luggage or home item you're bringing a list of the things with the highest dollar worth that will arrive later |

Unlike PR applications, temporary resident applications are based on the discretion of the VO handling your applications. As a result, expect different answers to your question. If you can connect the program, school and your ambition, you should have no issue, especially if the school is a DLI and the program is PGWP-eligible. For example, you can say that the college is a small school with a small class size which makes it even easier to have a closer learning interaction with the instructors. You can go further to discuss the method of learning the college uses in Project Management and that it is your best method. Vos likes to know that you have done your research. What I can say regarding the information you received is that if proof of funds barely meets the requirement (considering the low tuition fee), and you have chosen an affordable school, it could raise the issue of the ability to cover the cost of study without working in Canada. So, it is not because of the school per se but how the VO views your intentions for choosing the school. Show you are financially capable, and the school will not be an issue. There are many Nigerian studying at Holland College, and I have helped many with their application. There are lots of affordable Project Management in Ontario. Could you share why you don’t want to go to Ontario? Maybe the information you have regarding Ontario and your ambition is incorrect. Let me know if you want to apply to other schools outside Ontario for Project Management, but the tuition fee will not be as affordable Pepman: 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by bullstriker: 2:26pm On Dec 26, 2022 |
Proof of enrolment is not required if your program has not started and the deadline to register for courses has not passed. You can request an enrolment letter from your school if you have registered for courses. Also, a copy of your registered courses printed from the school’s portal will suffice for proof of enrolment. Will appreciate a candid response. Thanks |
