obedience4:was the United state able to stop these countries from harboring “terrorists” Imagine spending billions of dollars prosecuting war in Afghanistan for 20 years only to run away with your tail in between ur legs, leaving billion dollars of war crafts, guns and ammunition for the same terrorist they went after, shame Libya was doing fine, the problem with the United States was that gaddafi wanted the end of petro dollar, especially in Africa so they found ways to remove him, presently Libya is a failed state, the United States armed the militia groups that ousted gaddafi, these militia groups are now raping and enslaving Africans, selling guns to terror groups across Africa, including boko haram and bandits, Libya is now training ground for isis in Africa By the way, Ukraine was killing and oppressing ethnic Russians in the donbas region, what has the United state done about it before putin decided enough is enough The United state is just a toothless dog, it can bark at smaller counties and intimidate then, the United state is battling guns related deaths, they have the highest number of domestic gun deaths in the world, thousands die every year in USA, they should fix that first before they try to fix other countries problems |

Gadafii: Arming rebels not the same as invading, I know the USA instigated the whole scenario that got Gaddafi removed, but the USA never invaded Libya, nor Syria thats the point I want to pass |

obedience4:you don’t know anything, arming rebels to fight the govt is fighting the government by proxy, and at great lengths invading that country, are you a kid or what ![]() You are not making any sense, US presently have bases in Syria, THEY have their fighter jets in Syria as well, they had in Libya as well same as other countries they went to, if you watch the movie “secret soldiers of Benghazi “ you will understand what I Am saying No one knew the United States or the CIA had secret bases and Private contractors in Libya, until the US high commission was attacked and the commissioner died from that attack Stop saying what you don’t know 1 Like |

Gadafii: Please stop saying what you don't know, I am well vast in the Libya incident, the secret soldiers of Benghazi " you are talking are USA Marines stationed at the USA consul in Libya, standard procedures for USA embassy worldwide. Pleas the USA never had an airbase in Libya, watching the incident on the attack on the consult in Benghazi they had to wait for reenforcement from the only USA military base in Africa located in Djibouti. The USA had no fighter jets in Libya, although they have conducted airstrikes in Libya. Please the USA military presences in Syria is against Isis not Assad, the USA military was training the Kurdish fighters against Isis and not government forces.. The only time the USA military conducted airstrikes against Assad was when he used nerve gas against its citizens and that was only in Obama government, The USA have nothing to gain in a military operation in Syria, you claim the USA is a toothless dog but by your definition of invasion the USA giving weapon's to Ukraine is invading Russia, In conclusion the USA never had base in Syria, thy never had a Base in Libya, please arming a side is not the same as invading. |

NATO is an evil military alliance created to destroy any country going against the western doctrine. There is nothing defensive about NATO. Wagwanbrethren: 1 Like 1 Share |

I just keep SMH when I read rubbish like this. They openly funded, trained and equipped fighters against a sovereign government. They even went further to send fighter jets to bomb Libya to smothering, killing thousands of civilians in the process and thereby aiding the cold blooded murder of a president. Nothing justifies all of these. US has effectively destroyed that nation all in the name of democracy. Syria is another case. You actively funded, supported and equipped rebels and extremist militants all in a bid to overthrow the president of a sovereign country who has not done anything wrong to the USA. Unfortunately for the American idiots, the extremists they supplied with weapons formed ISIS and invaded Iraq to remove an American installed government. US had to beg their arch enemy, Iran and the Kurds to help them fight ISIS in Iraq. Karma is a biatch, because Iran now has control over Iraq and the rebels are losing in Syria. Yemen is another case. I won't even talk about Iraq yet. obedience4: |

richeeyo: ...but it was USA president, Biden who less than few seconds after the strike, even without Investigation started, said it wasn't Russia. and finally after investigations were carried out, they still said it wasn't Russia. Are you trying to tell us they were wrong ? 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Ukraine Hardest Thing To See Is Not How Our Soldiers Die, But How They Cry by bassdow: 2:08pm On Dec 26, 2022 |
BentizilL: that was really funny. President Biden ought to have at least delayed till after investigations to say his TRUTH. People have failed to realize except given a very strong REASON, Russia wouldn't want to engage USA, and USA wouldn't want to engage Russia. Though should both come Face2face, na nuclear dem go use. remove NATO, I doubt the WEST is any capable of anything. Even with NATO + EU sef, they still finds it difficult engaging Russia. That tells a lot 1 Like |

Kingsnairaland: So a military base is now a perquisite for invading a country, the USA have an airbase in Africa in Djibouti, been use to target terrorist in Africa, so the USA have invaded Djibouti?? Like I said the USA never invaded Syria, the military base Al-Tanf was used to train the new Syria army rebels against [b]the Islamic state[\b] not government forces, let's be educative here on nairaland, The USA operates and maintains military facilities around the globe. |

bassdow: You don't have to lie to prove a point. When the missile struck Poland, the Russian foreign ministry spokeswomen. Maria zakharova was the first to debunk that the missile was from Russian. What president biden said was that from the preliminary findings and the trajectory the rocket landed it was from Ukraine, and ask that's the full investigation been carried out, Even the Russians came to applauded the way the USA handled the situations. You don't have to lie, not all people here on nairaland are stupid. https://english.jagran.com/world/russia-praises-us-for-measured-response-on-missile-attack-accuses-poland-of-deliberately-escalating-tensions-10054483

Kingsnairaland: The place the USA had the base was held by the Syrian opposition, not in territories held by government forces loyal to hasad, the Iranian had a Base in Syria, so was the Turkish military too, even Russia also had an airbase in Syria, It wasn't The USA that operated a military facility in Syria, every one from Russia, Turkey, Iran USA were all supporting there interest in Syria |

Kingsnairaland: Your point is that as long as you are from a certain region or continent that's gives you a moral standing to invade another nation. Hmmm, I have seen you complain abut the USA involvement in Cuba which with your point isn't q bad thing because they are from the same region. In general your point is that Nigeria can walk up one day and invade Ghana because they are from the same region. The same Russia who left Europe and is involved in Syria, Russia whose mercenaries are in far away Africa Committing havoc, this is a pure example of kettle calling a pot black |
