You are the one confused. 95% of ipob terrorists coming to Anambra are from imo state because of the proximity. Soludo has chased them back to imo state, that's why INEC offices in Owerri and other areas in imo state were razed down due to high level of insecurity in imo state. Uzodinma should go to Soludo and get his secret on how he was able to take out ipob/esn which has their headquarters in imo state stanluiz: |

The truth is that the Federal Government should declare a state of emergency in imo state. Almost all the ipob terrorists disturbing igboland are based or originated from imo state stanluiz: |

Maiduguri City Gate. The Orlu City Gate wickedly demolished by Hope Uzodinma, is more solid, more expensive, and more beautiful, than this Maiduguri City Gate. Since so-called unknown gunmen wouldn't be able to destroy the gate in Orlu.., State Govt Power had to demolish the gate. A tricky man who buried himself shall have one of his hands hanging on the surface. One Yoruba state governor recently called Imo a state of build and destroy. 2 Likes

Grgt0n: You peeps are qute comical in your deceit! You and the likeminded twerps involved in this una back-and-forth think you're being smart in using Igbo-themed threads to slyly and subliminally brand IPOB as 'terrorists' like your boss Buhari has done! You take the teleguided actions and words of all these sabos, efulefus and 5th-columnists as coming from IPOB just so you can call the secessionist group 'terrorists'! All these 'factions of IPOB' arose AFTER Mazi Kanu was kidnapped from Kenya and they have been disowned by IPOB, yet you lot persist in trying to link their sponsored actions and assertions with IPOB! Let's take the ekpa bastard for instance....despite all his statements and tweets, which in some cases are the precursor to murder in the south-east, can you refer to anytime Liar Mohammed or Buhari have ever mentioned his name or compalined to the Finnish gov't about him like they did with Mazi Kanu and the UK/Israel gov'ts? I've always said the job they gave ekpa is one of the reasons the despotic Buhari gov't doesn't want to obey a valid court order and release Mazi Kanu! They need to hold on to him so they can continue with their ruse of IPOB being 'factionalised'! 2 Likes |

Ofodirinwa: The gate at Orlu had no Islamic resemblance or motivation. Gates in Europe and the Americas are tourists places and city trademarks. Some of you will continue to rationalise the ARU going on because Orlu LGA is the victim. 1) Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. 2) One of Paris landmark gates. All tourist sites. 5 Likes

IGBOSON1: The IPOB is killing Igbo people propaganda is like the false propaganda that Orlu people are burning govt properties in Orlu. Fact is: whoever controls any government's instruments of coercion also employs propagandists to confuse the uninitiated. Too many Igbos are gradually being sucked up with the propaganda that Igbos are killing Igbos in the SE. These uninitiated Igbos don't care to ask: how come before 2020, Igbos were not killing Igbos in the SE? Who is the brain behind the killings of Igbos in the SE since 2020? Issue is IPOB people made the mistake of forming ESN without collaboration with the recalcitrant SE state governors. Igbo haters with their appointed collaborators in the SE latched to ESN confusion to kill Igbos. May 29, 2023 may bring an end to the upheavals in Igbo land. 3 Likes |

IGBOSON1: Most of us igbos (especially those stupid enough to support APC) fail to acknowledge that this nation is set up to make slaves of the Igbo man. This forum is one of such. We see threads of bad governance and insecurity in the SE given priority over the abominations going on all over the country. The SE has developed well in terms of infrastructure in the last 8 years and even doing well in terms of FDI and investment and that’s why the are frantic a true igbo man doesn’t become president. The current insecurity in imo state is sponsored by the state like many other things in this country. Simon ekpa is an agent of the state ,ipob has been heavily infiltrated like Massob and ohaneze mid igbo . And before the Apc idiots come for me, why is the Enugu international airport terminal still not completed ? Why is the world class Anambra airport still not cleared for international flight ? Why is the NNPC depot at Enugu still not functional ? Despite maintenance work on its pipelines being completed since 2015 ? And let’s come to the Enugu-ph road, the most important stretch of it (Aba/ph) has been abandoned making the work on it totally useless And oh the icing on the cake. Around umuichichi Aba, we noticed trucks with Chinese inscriptions moving in at night along with military men (northerners of course) and northern labourers, the next morning ,payloaders and cranes pulled out the tracks and disappeared with them. Some months later we’re hearing that the tracks were stolen and workers attacked in Aba hence, the Enugu -madiguri railway project is bust. A quick fact , the Aba-ph section of that rail was the only functional part of that rail line since OBJ destroyed our railways. In fact, it’s the only one at people used to transport heavy goods between Aba and ph. Today that last connection is gone and yet we’re silent 5 Likes |

Should: I am not trolling. European arcs have meaning in European culture. Islamic gates have meaning in Islamic culture. What do gates mean in Igboland and are you not tried of meaningless mimickery? Why is the standard we have for ourselves so low and based on unquenchable ignorance. Just mimick people who are not mimick us. Tomorrow if the person we're mimicking comes with their religion (Islam), we will begin to insult them and feel threatened. Why not build something from Igbo culture that give value to life as an Igbo person? Or you just want a gate because Zamafara has a gate? Is that the reasoning of an adult? 2 Likes |

Ofodirinwa:The asphalt roads you encourage to be built in Africa are copied from Europe, not African culture. Gates are also built in Europe as landmarks that attract tourists money. Arcs are not in most of the gates in Europe. Islam which started in the 7th Century is the youngest religion in the world. European Christian culture with gates in cities predates Islam and gates in cities. Therefore, gates in cities are not Islamic symbols, but city landmarks that attract tourism money. 1 Like |

Ofodirinwa: O na so gi. You are selling snake oil in your citing resistance to Islam as support for Hope Uzodinma's demolition of Orlu City gate. Is the teaching hospital in Orlu now disabled by Uzodinma Islamic? Are the disabled fire station, stadium, High Court, even the decadent and closed urban roads in Orlu Islamic? It's like some of you with these politicians are cursed in your drive to depopulate and impoverish most of Orlu senatorial district. 1 Like |

Imo, Korean firm strike deal on $7bn Smart City A South Korean group, Grace Bridge WID Limited, has concluded plans with the Imo state government to set up a Smart City in the state. This followed the successful visit of the Commissioner for Budget, Planning and Statistics, Dr C.C. Osuala, to South Korea recently during which modalities for the establishment of the business hub was discussed. The commissioner, who disclosed this to Blueprint over the weekend, said a memorandum of understanding was signed after a return visit to the state by the Koreans. He said the state’s prudence in budgeting, which had since been acknowledged by the World Bank through the internationally acclaimed award of States’ Fiscal Transparency Accountability System (SFTAS), led to the interest shown by the Koreans. Describing the proposed Smart City project as “first of its kind in Africa”, Dr Osuala said the project would cost 7 billion US Dollars and would be sited in a 2,000 hectare land in Mbaitoli local government area of the state, adding that it would create 5,000 jobs for Imo indigenes in particular and Nigerians in general. He listed the features of the Smart City project to include a 24/7 power supply with hydro and solar energy running simultaneously, a FIFA standard stadium, an Olympic sized swimming pool, world class high rise hospitals, with helipads where helicopters would be landing to pick patients and other high rise edifices; educational institutions to be populated with people from different continents; adequate security, among others. The commissioner said the Korean investors would fund it and eventually recoup what they spend through the sales they would organise, especially as very important personalities would be coming from different parts of the world to patronise the services that would be available in the city. Ofodirinwa: lol I’m now certain it’s the real Ofodiri, Season greetings to you chief. I’ve toured that area before, sometimes around 2019 and sincerely, there’s nothing “Sokotoish” about the gate, all it needed was proper renovation, attention and regards, it would simply give the place iconic view the same way Bridge head in Onitsha is, when you see that bridge you feel at home, that gate would have given Orlu another unique feature in a way. But I understand where you’re driving at tho 2 Likes |

Should: Udo nwanne, I would hope we can have a more culturally specific and relevant icon but that may be wishful thinking. Whatever makes Orlu people happy is fine. What I do know and agree with is that Uzodinma hates the Orlu zone for reasons that are beyond me. Meanwhile many in the zone supported him under the pretense of 'our own'. Hofully we've learned. |

Should: Thanks for your objective response, more in the bolded. Apart from demolishing the iconic gate at Orlu, Hope Uzodinma also demolished the Banana junction Roundabout which hitherto was a point of pride and reference to Orlu. He painted lines that would be quickly washed away by floods at the junction. One wonders why Uzodinma does not think about how his successors will treat whatever he builds in his hometown. 1 Like |
