Dear lagosians there are 36states in nigeria, nigeria does not start and end in lagos!! People live in calabar, porthacourt akwa ibom, enugu benin and delta&they have amazing lives and they do not drink yellow water and spend half of their lives in traffic or pay expensive rent.

My own experience as a lagosian who have lived in other states in Nigeria:

I don't see any reason why people are taking offenses in what @iDanDizzy said actually. For God sake, the guy is fv cking right. He bestly describe the normal lives of lagosian. I have lived in Lagos all my life, I'm a lagosian, I schooled in ogun state, I schooled in kano, I served in akwa ibom and to be honest, I enjoyed those states far better than Lagos. I feel sad dt lack of Job opportunities made me leave those states to come back to lagos and hustle. If not for money, I rather stay in akwa ibom and live a stress free life than lagos.

Lagos is too stressful.. I went to spend the night in my friend place on the island, around Ikota school bus stop and I was surprised dt they sell a big paint rubber bucket for 100 naira.. Yes 100 naira, she said dt is the amt they sell it and I told her, as a lagosian that I am but I Will never stay on the island. I fetch same bucket here for 5 naira... Yes 5 naira on the mainland while she fetches same for 100 naira. My life on the mainland is much more easier than island bcox I av stayed there briefly. My life outside lagos was the best and I hope God will Raise someone outside lagos to help me with a good job.. I will move away from Lagos big time. @iDanDizzy you are the best. You have described the life of a lagosian. If any lagosian is offended by dandizzy word, e be 4u niyen

Lagos is an overrated dirty place. Of a truth, you can't wear White or even dress clean without getting messed up due to the dirty environment.

Lagos is too dirty and highly overrated, gosh!!! I stayed in lekki area and I no dey too commot for House because you must surely look like a pig while coming back. Thank God I am in my beloved Benin City now, a home of kings and queens. I can confidently tell you that pH, Abuja, Benin City, Akwa ibom , Calabar, Enugu, Asaba amongst others are by far beautiful, Sane and better than Lagos

You are very much right.. If I wana go for job interview, I put my white inside back, so when I get close to the company, I find a place and change. If I go Wear white, people go stain you for bus b4 u reach where u dey go


I served in akwa ibom and I didn't wana leave there but I had to bcox of job.. But i love dt state.. Sane, cool and sweet state with beautiful ladies..

Bros that's the not problem. The problem is are there good roads in Lagos? No! Are there drainages? No! How about the environment? Very dirty slum! Oga is it not those Tinubu miscreants that said tehifnubu built Lagos? Lagos that is an highly overrated dirty slum.

Go to Abuja, pH, Asaba, Benin City, Enugu, Akwa ibom, Calabar, etc and see good road networks with good drainage system.

Abeg Lagos is too dirty. It is never about the population. Even Kano isn't as dirty as Lagos. So leave the population out of this

But nevertheless opportunity dey Lagos, their public schools are second to none,free educational systems and opportunities as well as some other things, everything with advantages have a disadvantage.

Last year I was in Lagos for about two months,men I almost broke down. I have lived in port Harcourt almost all my life,it is nothing compared to Lagos when you talk about the stress. Lagosians una dey try,I cut cap for una abeg. Its really not easy in Lagos.

I was born and raised in Lagos. left Lagos for Enugu when i was in Senior secondary school. i was shocked to find out how cool and easy going life was in Enugu. I dont think i ever want to go back to Lagos again, the stress is enough to reduce ones lifespan. Unfortunately most of the job opportunities in Nigeria are domiciled in Lagos.

All the Headquarters of Corporate Organizations are in Lagos, Bigtime Entertainers, Ex-Footballers, Captain of Industries, Billionaires,etc reside in Lagos (some temporarily tho)
