matm: This is by far every parent's worse nightmare. Few people would ever wish to contemplate that attempting to plead with murderous kidnappers by claiming there is no money available has in the past triggered the immediate killing of hostages right beside the terrified victims whose families have promised to send money right away. A recent gruesome instance occurred in a kidnappers' jungle hideout somewhere along the Ibadan Expressway in which the dead bodies of those hostages that were killed for being poor were simply allowed to rot where they fell right beside those who were still alive awaiting the delivery of their own ransom payments as to secure freedom. |

HydraFeeds: In case you are sincere, let me answer you: 1. In 2019, LP Presidential Candidate won only 5,074 votes out of 28 million votes. And, even now, you can't even remember the name of the LP candidate in 2019 without going to Google. That tells you the level of followership LP had before Obi joined them. Read more here: https://www.economist.com/middle-east-and-africa/2022/10/10/peter-obi-a-man-who-carries-his-own-suitcases-could-be-nigerias-next-president "As public campaigning was about to begin in late September, Nigeria was rocked by the release of three polls showing Mr Obi well ahead of the two candidates for the main parties that have misruled Nigeria since the restoration of its democracy in 1999. In two of the polls Mr Obi has a lead of more than 15 percentage points over Bola Tinubu of the incumbent All Progressives Congress (APC) and Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), the main opposition. What makes this even more extraordinary is that Mr Obi is standing for the Labour Party, whose candidate at the previous presidential election in 2019 won just 5,074 votes out of 28m cast". 2. What you said about security in Anambra under Peter Obi is a lie. See what a general in the Nigerian Army said instead... https://www.dailypost.ng/2022/10/18/how-peter-obi-tackled-insecurity-under-my-watch-in-anambra-gen-enenche/%3famp=1

Special appeal to you reading this. Vote for Obi of LP. Tinubu has chosen El Rufai as minister of defense. If a man cannot secure his house can that man secure his neighbourhood? |

MandelaLives: It’s true that lp is not as accepted as this before Obi defection to it but that doesn’t rule out the fact that lp has its own followers before . Also Obi has little weight in PDP as a politician because if any political bigwig wants to defect ,many of his associates and followers will follow suit but we can see that nothing like that happened when Obi defected . Most of Obi followers are of Igbo extractions following a tribalistic agenda ,people that are not happy with Buhari maladministration or PDP history of wanton corruption ,people that wants to wrestle power from the older generation (forgetting that Obi is part of the older generation) and lastly people that follow bandwagon like sheep so my point is that it’s not really Obi effect ,the same thing would have happened if it’s Wike or Sanwo olu if they’re the candidate for lp ,at least we can see what Kwankwaso is doing in the north as well . But it’s a good thing that Nigeria now has an alternative from black and white. What I said about insecurities in Anambra is true ,check online for news when he was Governor and not a recent comment from a bias Enenche ,he’s a member of lp and he won’t say the truth anymore …. Here’s where he’s praising Obi ,an army general must remain neutral to have a valid opinion https://www.thecable.ng/i-believe-in-obi-ex-defence-spokesperson-reacts-amid-backlash-over-inclusion-in-lp-campaign/amp Obi disbanded vigilante and also health workers were on strike for 13 months . That’s not a good presidential candidate. About the polls ,any institution can create a poll with different criteria ,there are many polls that project Tinubu as the winner even the thisday that serves as a backup media created a statistics that describes Obi has non existent in vital regions . A regional candidate will be a weak president |

HydraFeeds:This is what gets people angry to call you people urchins. We are talking about people's lives, you're talking about having political weight. How can the corrupt people Obi is fighting join him? This is exactly why these corrupt people continue to be successful in enslaving you guys. Is your mindset so low? Haba! You continue to vote corrupt people because they have political weight and they keep killing and kidnapping you. See eh, it's this people TODAY but it could be you TOMORROW. These people didn't know it would be them YESTERDAY. You said I should go online to check. Why can't you cite sources to me as I'm citing to you. Show me the sources that proved that security was poor in Anambra up to 2 years into the Obi Administration - not when he assumed power newly. Again, you said that most of Obi's supporters are Igbos. A lie. Some of Obi's most ardent supporters like Aisha Yesufu, Ayo Adebanjo, Rinu Oduala, etc are not Igbos. |

MandelaLives:It’s you Zombiediots that can not reason ,first I counter your argument with a logical approach but when you could no longer respond, you descend to insult by calling me an urchin for defending a notion . Now let me burst your brain ,the word urchin is not someone that can not present a logical argument or assuming supporting a bad product but someone on the street that is being mischievous like dressing in a bad way or causing harms like pickpocketing or street fights ,can you see that it has no logical correlation? Responding to your comment about weight ,you’re the one that insinuated that Obi brought a lot of followers to lp so I’m saying that it’s not Obi effect but a lot of things is happening at the same time which you didn’t respond to but descend to insult . Lastly , Obi is not clean ,his Panama scandal is still there ,investment of government funds in family business is still there ,buying a million dollars house in uk as a student is still there which he could not explain ,disbanding vigilante and underfunding government parastatal is still there . So I was asking you how will someone that disbanded vigilante tackle insecurities in the federal level ? How will a regional candidate handle cabals at the federal level ? Remember he was impeached once as a governor for failure and incompetence? You’re not responding to my questions what you’re doing is called red herring fallacy |

MandelaLives: Well I cited a a source where eneche is card carrying member of lp and therefore could no longer hold a neutral position . There are many citations online of insecurities during Obi tenure https://www.vanguardngr.com/2009/06/anambra-managing-insecurity-with-politics/amp/ https://www.vanguardngr.com/2009/07/unemployment-major-cause-of-insecurity-in-anambra%E2%80%94okonkwo/amp/ There were a lot of kidnappings (even when the Fulani has not gotten into kidnappings,it was evans that expose the Fulania to kidnappings) robbery and so on during his tenure . Rinu,Aisha and adebanjo are not important figures ,they’re known opportunist activists that has no achievements to their names. It’s people like Okupe that is an associate of Obi. |

It was gathered that some hours after the abduction of the students, the bandits contacted the families of the victims, demanding a sum of N16m for their release A source in Ajowa Akoko Community said, “The kidnappers of the victims have contacted their families and they are demanding N3m for the release of each of the students and N4m for the driver.” This goes to show how much disdain these people place on education: they even agreed that education is worth nothing. As emotional as this story appears, I see deeper into the core, the value system of terrorist. Imagine worthing a driver more than students. |
