Splinters only occur if the bones are swallowed the wrong way Sir. Plus, you said he shouldn’t feed bones in general. An internal splinter can only take place when the bone is swallowed whole or wrongly. That’s still not enough reason to tell someone to stop feeding bones to his dog. Vets still recommend that feeding eggs fresh to dogs can result to salmonella, but then, feeding eggs raw to dogs is the best form of feeding eggs to them.
