DenreleDave: I lived in Lagos. My bros still stays in cnb alakija . I grew up in kaduna ,Abuja, jos, gombe, bauchi, adamawa, I love the north so much. Whenever am in Lagos the stress, police, traffic , street boys and more that stress me. I just want to come back to Lagos. Cos the north had no problem good road, light, peace (forget what the media tells you ) we flexing more than you.. street car race , cheap food, good people. And peace of mind.. I do drive from abuja to bauchi. Just to go flex and come back in the morning.. if you leave Lagos with your Lagos sense, then you will conquer anywhere in the world. NOTE. I HAVE STAYED in other countries too oh.. so Lagos for me is a dump ground . I will only miss Lagos for the friends and shrine way we dey chill for night 3 Likes 1 Share |

I recall leaving Lagos to Kano back in 2008 onto job parole...I read about the tremendous changes under Fashola led Lagos and looked ahead to a return. The more I heard below phrases in Kano, while trying to come to terms to a return to Lagos for fear of unknown such as "distant family", "job security" and self-development, the more I became hungrier to return to Lagos regardless of the chaotic nature. Those phrases I often heard which were funny to me while settling to learn Hausa were: in brackets are d interpretation or d way it sounded to me in Yoruba. Kano was fun while it lasted. 1. Sai kin Yada ( translated to Se kin Yada in Yoruba) 2. Sai kin zoo ( Se kin so) 3. Sai ka zoo ( Se ka so) 4. Abokin su ( abokin su) 5. Abokin ka ( aboki too talk) 6. Sai ka Yi...( Se ka Yi) 7. Sai ka ji ( make we steal am in Yoruba) 8. Sai kin ji. Kano was fun while it lasted... 2 Likes |

When you leave lagos to reside in another state you will realise you have been living in hell being in lagos. I gained admission into OAU ile-ife in 2008 and since then I never returned to lagos other than just to visit my parents. I have lived in ilorin, Ibadan, and now back to ile-ife and I can tell you lagos is shit. 9 Likes 1 Share |

I left lagos some years back to Abuja,Portahcourt, kaduna and now in warri.I can tell you its the best decision ever, the only problem is apart from Abuja and maybe kaduna no where can be like lagos warri is like a village and a slum missed together but the quality of life is so different .With lagos i doubt if sme one can be alive up to 50 yrs in that state.Imagine leaving my house in magodo by seven up by 4am so as to meet 8am resumption. Now i wake up around 630am and i am always at my duty post by 730am.Lagos na wa ,buy Lagos sweet sha o 7 Likes |

Angelfrost: I recognize that there are fake churches & false prophets out there, but the idea of giving to the church is something only devoted Christians can understand. Some choose to spend their money on alcohol and drugs, some chose to spend theirs on prostitutes and runs girls, some chose to spend theirs on cars and some are willing to give theirs to the church. Life na choice, do what you want with yours. 2 Likes |
