You guys should allow due process. The accused is innocent untill proven guilty by a competent court of jurisdiction. The legal process most be allowed to run to logical conclusion. If the state can prove there case beyond reasonable doubt...then he will go for it ...I am afraid they charge of first degree murder might not stand in this case cos ...this asp didn't wake up with the intention of killing this woman ...second degree murder might stand . If I were the I will amend the charges...before the court throws it out for lack of merit .

May justice be served in this case. I believe it's God who wants it that the ASP be nabbed and punished for all atrocities he had perpetrated during his career in the Police Force. There is an allegation that he was the Constable that killed a Custom Officer in the early '90's in Niger state and went scott free (unperturbed). May karma hold him down this time around!.
