My friend got her PPR yesterday ...this is her testimony Praiseeeeeeee the lord.... God has done it oooooo. 11th hour miracle. Application for family of 4 I applied on the 16th of October and started sending series of mails and webform toward the end of November. Nov. 30th medical for only me was updated. Lo and behold I was refused on Dec 14th. I was down but as old solider who never dies, I quickly addressed the issue the VO raised. Repackaged myself and write LOE then reapplied on Dec 17th Saturday, by Monday I started firing webforms and mails again then 9:45pm December 28th, 11 days after I got the famous do not reply mail, it was correspondence letter. My heart was like eeeeee I hope this is not another rejection oooo. This is way too fast. On 29thDec 5:25am another do not reply.... It's PPR We learnt a lot form this forum. Did the applicant herself from A to Z. Both first and second application You guys are great. God bless you all. Bamz555: University of Manitoba. They don't require tuition deposit. But if your course is a Thesis based program, then you have to get a supervisor from the school before you could apply. Getting a potential supervisor no be moimoi. University of Saskatchewan too doesn't require tuition deposit, but it's smae with University of Manitoba. 1 Like |

Bamz555:Kindly note that if your wife is already pregnant, she won't be able to undergo Xray for Medical exam. In other words, she may not be given visa currently until she puts to bed and then undergoes the Xray. |

I will suggest ways to show home ties even with family members in Canada and in no way condone your statement to lie to IRCC. In addition to the points made by @Bobomaigida, your sister can get a job and use the job as a tie when she is ready to apply if she can demonstrate she intends to return to her job. This can be effectively shown by having her employer grant her a leave of absence. She must also have a written letter requesting a leave of absence. Where she is self-employed, she can register her business now and provide evidence that it has been in operation before the registration day. Proofs could be in pictures, invoices, receipts and communications with suppliers and customers. Also, she needs to demonstrate who takes over the management of the business to oversee its operations in her absence till she returns to take over. Financial buoyancy is a home tie. Document her assets, if any, and prepare an excellent financial table of funds required based on the IRCC's criteria and show what she can provide in terms of available funds; ensure she has more than the minimum requirement and be realistic, using the actual budgetary cost of rent and living expenses for the city she would be living, this goes to demonstrate that she has done her research and is aware of the expenses of her temporary stay in Canada and that she has available and sufficient funds to take care of her expenses. It's acceptable if these funds are a gift from her siblings. A gift deed will be required. Again, as mentioned by @Bobomaigida, letters from an association, clubs, and volunteers stating she is an active member; and pictures of events she has attended. Now, For Canada, the applicant has two siblings. The applicant has a sibling for Nigeria and a job/business, assets, and support networks. Where is the “pull factor” stronger? The onus is on her to argue this in her SoP. Ensure the SoP flow with a logical sequence so as not to create doubt. I am sure you can build on these and other points others have proffered here. jjohndoe83: 1 Like |

I believe you are good. Based on what you stated, you have the funds, job, business and properties to show ties in Nigeria, and hopefully, your program is related to your work experience. Snooky: |

pufframmy: n. I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) (https://lawslois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/I-2.5/index.html) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR) (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/index.html). I am refusing your application. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/ section-216.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors: • Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the yourself and or accompanying families members |

Yes, I have BSc in biochemistry and have worked for 6 yrs at the ministry of Agriculture as a produce inspector. Can a salary of about 40k convince the ircc of home ties? I got an admission to study food science technology at centennial college but I DNT just know how best to package my application for a family of 7. Some pple advice I go first and then put in their application once I resume school bullstriker: |
