Onitsha has overtaken Enugu and Aba in urban development, infrastructures, economy, etc. Ugwuanyi failed woefully in his 8yrs administration, while the likes of Obiano and Umahi were doing mega projects, Ugwuanyi was eating onugbu. We complained but it fell on deaf ears Ogbuefi2020: 7 Likes |

If anybody is playing to the gallery it is Soludo himself.....he has started his Igbo presidency if you do not know..let him go cut the grass at upper iweka underbridge! Group decries activities of touts in Anambra December 29, 2022 .Anambra A group of traders in Anambra has expressed concern over the activities of illegal revenue collectors in different parts of Onitsha, the commercial hub of Anambra. The group, operating under the aegis of the Concerned Anambra Traders’ Association, made the remark at a news briefing in Onitsha on Wednesday. The group’s Chairman, Mr Gabriel Okeke, described the extortion of Onitsha traders allegedly by touts as condemnable and unacceptable. Okeke regretted that holidaymakers and travellers passing through Onitsha and its environs were being subjected to harassment, assault and extortion on a daily basis by touts on the road. “The touts, who have returned to the state after their sack by Gov. Charles Soludo, openly stationed themselves at some strategic areas of Onitsha. Okeke listed the areas to include the Upper Iweka axis, Bida Road, Nkpor Junction, St. Anthony Church on the Old Road and Owerri Road. Others are Iweka (down flyover), Ugwu Nwasike Junction, Building Material Market, Bridgehead, amongst others. He said that the touts were operating with audacity without the fear of arrest by security agencies. 2 Likes |

AmericanQuarter: Embarrassment is the mountains of refuse all over Onitsha and Awka !...........take your pettiness elsewhere! Soludo is yet to make any significant impact on any sector aside maybe the education sector ( his core competency)! Security and environment are 2 low hanging fruits he should have tackled with fervency! Instead he naively politicised the so called Biafra agitation and created more enemies for his administration, his initial strategy to tackle filth in our cities were ill concieved and have of course failed! I do not seek soludo's failure but the man seems to have another agenda or is just distracted..............I am not feeling this administration ......even his subordinates seem ill at ease with the general direction of this admin! I pray he wakes up soon! Even Abia and Aba is giving off better positive vibes at this point in time! 7 Likes 2 Shares |

ebufa: You are busy fighting yourself. I am not here to talk about if Soludo has done anything or not. The only reason I engaged you was because you said you want to stay on this thread to communicate to Soludo, then I reminded you that you can actually reach him on his Facebook and Instagram. Then you turned around to say that he doesn't listen to advice and that he is arrogant. You are really confused. Like as I said before, stop embarrassing yourself 9 Likes |

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2022/12/group-decries-activities-of-touts-in-anambra/ Soludo should sit up and work for Christ sake. What is he doing about the excess of these touts harassing traders in Onitsha ? Is he how he will turn Anambra to Dubai ? I am beginning to loose all hope on him. He is now becoming a huge disappointment. Instead of him to face governance, he will be fighting Peter obi, talking about his pipedream igbo President or romancing with Arthur Eze. Is that why he was Elected ? What kind of Nonsense is that ? Anambra need to get it right in 2025 election because the so called professor is becoming a failure. He has not even stay one year in office. Controversy everywhere. 13 Likes |

ebufa: Soludo has been a slowpoke from the beginning. Anambra has been lucky with non-politician governors twice in a row with Obi (who was chosen by Ojukwu for his intergrity and intelligence) and Obiano (who was a professional abroad before being chosen by Obi). Soludo has been running up and down in Nigeria seeking rent in one political tent after another under the fake guise of being an 'economist'. But if you're adept to hearing and understanding you can check his long history of utterances and see arrogance and charlatanhood. Unfortunately the charade worked. Of course he sees governorship as a stepping stone to being president, he's a career wall crawler. This man is also violently anti-igbo and in the quest for 'igbo presidency' will bring a level of pandering to the north that will even shock northerners. If someone doesn't know now they will know tomorrow. 7 Likes |

ebufa: You sound like a drunk. I picked your first post where you said you wanna correct few things about Soludo administration using nairaland, then I pointed out to you that you can reach Soludo directly on Facebook and Instagram. You turned around to say another bla bla bla that Soludo doesn't take advice that he is arrogant. I got confused and asked, is it not more likely that Soludo can see your post on his Facebook page than on nairaland page. Please try and get some commonsense and reason properly. Inugo 7 Likes |

It is Uzodinma and all the governors that have ever ruled imo state that are slowpokes. You are worried about a progressive Soludo but you aren't bothered Okoroawusa that wasted eight years with almost nothing to show except lic.king Fulani a.ss for the entire time, with the hope that he will be given the presidency on the plater of gold. It is an insult to even begin to compare a shithole like aba with almost 100% dilapidated roads to a progressive mega city like Onitsha. If there's anything, it is Aba that has overtaken Enugu in the last eight years, because while Ugwuanyi has left Enugu to become even a worse shithole like Aba, most roads in Enugu are all dilapidated. Ugwuanyi has wasted almost eight years in office taking pictures and eating from one event to another while wawa people particularly nsukka people who are mostly timid illiterates cheering him while enugu has sunk into a mess it has become today IGBOSON1: 5 Likes |

Just seen this report on the increasing number of uncleared/unauthorised refuse dumping spots in major cities in Anambra. I thought the state gov't had mapped out a plan for regular collection of refuse from residential and business premises, so why have things degenerated to this extent? Is it that other things are now preoccupying the governors time, and even if this is the case, aren't there gov't officials and civil servants charged with ensuring the state is kept clean? So if Soludo doesn't do their job for them by personally going out with shovel and wheelbarrow to evacuate the eyesore, does this mean they can't do the job themselves? For crying out loud, keeping our cities clean and free of unsightly refuse dumps isn't rocket science! Whoever TF is responsible for this dereliction of duty should be queried immediately and made to sit up or face the prospect of getting sacked!
