Please I'm applying for study permit soon having got acceptance offer with a College in Canada but the issue is I'm having is that the year if birth I'm having on my transcript and passport differs by two years, days and months are the same, I hope this won't create any issue during visa processing. Thanks as I await your response. |

Adeoti2: I told you 10 days ago that it will drop. Seems the reason for your long delay after bvl was because your application was still new . Mine was submitted on August 9th and meant to resume this December .i later deferred till March. How did you add your spouse to your application did you make fresh application for her or you use new portal and filled that she is accompanying you. I have someone who wants to submit but has a baby and a wife . He is thinking of making separate application for them 1 Like |

Hello folks, Compliments of the season!!! I submitted my passport yesterday for stamping, and these are the pertinent questions I have: 1. How many weeks does it take for stamping? 2. Where is the stamping done, Ottawa, Nairobi or Abuja? Thank you for your anticipated responses! Regards to all. |

Ojukwudfugitive: 1. 0 to 4 weeks (usually within 2 weeks from observations) 2. Abuja |

Good day guys, Please I plan on traveling a month after my school resumption due to visa delays. My problem now is that I just paid only tuition deposit of 1500CAD and the school is resuming on the 9th of January. Even if I try to pay the balance using form A it will take about a month or so to get to the school. N.B: deferral is only possible after full payment of first semester fees. The issue now is that registration of courses ends on 17th of January while withdrawal date is on the 20th of January. I don’t know if they will withdraw the admission by that 20th of January. meanwhile, I plan on traveling by 4th of February. I don’t know what to do and also if they check the validity of LOA at the point of entry. Please advice guys…I have an enrollment letter tho.. |

Guys, please I need your input... I applied for a course at Cambrian for May 23 when it was showing Waitlisted. I thought I could be lucky but they replied with Program full after 2 weeks. Now, I applied for the same course for Sept 23. It has been more than a month but I've not got a reply. Should I still be patient, or do a fresh application, or apply to another college? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by mrprolifik: 9:48am On Dec 31, 2022 |
saucekid50: You need to contact your school to find out if you would be allowed to resume classes by February. If yes, then there shouldn't be a problem when you arrive Canada by February. |

I have a question, can someone list the cheap schools in Canada. I keep telling people, if you are interested in this Canada matter, know that you are investing your time and significant resources. There's nothing like cheap schools in Canada, rather apply for schools you can mange and afford. 2 Likes |

saucekid50: You already have an enrollment letter. Why na.. you should have waited till you get a decision on your visa application before enrolling. Without enroling I would have advised you pay the first semester via black market (it's faster) or you apply for another admission in that same course. That way, the 1500 you paid will be transferred to that new admission. As it is, you have signed that you will resume classes in January, you have to withdraw and apply for another admission but I don't know what happens to the 1500 already paid. |
