I rejoice with people that completed there various projects this year and for people like me that have not concluded , praying for Gods provision and wisdom to conclude soonest this coming year

For people embarking on new projects , there is nothing new under the sun , arguably worse times have happened in times past to Nigeria , probably and arguably late 80s and some part of the 90s , but we must move regardless . God will bless our legitimate hustle

To all professionals, artisans, contractors, suppliers, idea shapers, (I won't mention names because the list is endless but some of you are exceptional) I want to say thank you to all. It has been a wonderful thread with well matured people exchanging ideas on how to make buildings in our country safe and affordable. For those few that think the faceless platform is an opportunity to squander people hard earned money, my advise for you is to go somewhere else. For some of us that are clients, I want to say thank you to all those professionals sharing there ideas and knowledge at free of cost for us. May almighty continue to enrich your knowledge. I have opportunity to work with several professionals here in the last 12 years without meeting in person and they do a wonderful job between those periods. Only one of them between those periods meet me in person. It was a surprise to him. I want to give big thanks to my big brother mentor in the name of Haji Muftai is always there as a conflict resolution elder. Baba God bless you and your entire family. My advise for young people it's never too early to start investing in real estate no matter how little you have, you must start. By the time you know those little 2k you spend in club will add up to build you a decent home. For those that succeed completing there projects this year, congratulations. For some of us that's still struggling to complete this year due to inflation, never lose hope. We shall give thanks that we took it to a stage that we could. The lord will help us complete it. Happy new year to all in advance.

The question rather is, what is the use of skirting then determine if it applies in other rooms but not the kitchen.
1. Skirting is used to close the gap between the wall and floor tile. Tiling is done from the centre of the room to the sides, so the skirting tiles cover part of the off-cut tiles falling at the sides.
2. Also prevents dirt from going into the crevices between the wall and floor while cleaning the floor.
3. And more reasons

Obviously these reasons apply to the kitchen as much as the bedroom.

It reminds of when I was doing some research on the floor and I came across the fact that they is something they do in commercial kitchen builds to ensure that food doesn't fall into the space between the wall and the floor, but I did not take note of it.

I think that even the kitchen might need it afterall.
