Nigeria Army is unprofessional. If a soldier has been abducted, the best way to go about it is using military intelligence. Even the Gestapo wouldn't burn innocent people's homes. They're wasting time as the real perpetrators would have taken the hapless female soldier far from there. It's barbaric to act this way, just like Obasanjo asking the soldiers to level Odi in those days because some soldiers were killed there. Such things never happen to the Fulanis despite the number of soldiers and police killed on their land.
