The visa officer can issue you a visa to the expire date of ur passport or less , anyhow most visitor can stay for up to 6 months but boarder officer could give you less than 6 month at the boarder to stay on ur tourist visit even if ur visa is valid for 8 years

This is one of my areas of expertise. Welding as a trade is heavily regulated in Canada. No one wants an exploding pressure vessel or collapsing structures. The government and employer apprenticeship scheme takes at least 3 years of learning on the job (under a journeyman)+schooling.

Do you have city and guild qualifications in welding? Are you a journeyman welder from the EU or USA? If yes, then you can apply for express entry, then challenge your qualifications by sitting for the red seal exam once you are on ground in canada.

Without that you can't practice as a welder in Canada. The government also doesn't give visa to start apprenticeship in Canada.

Americans do not need a temporary resident visa to canada.,just present the child american passport to the boarder officer .but if the child is planning to stay in canada then Children accompanying an adult who is in Canada on a study permit may study in Canada without a study permit at the pre-school, primary and secondary levels and do not forget to hold the child orginal birth certificate .

I did biometrics in Abuja do I need to pay the transmission fees? My daughter didn’t do biometrics so I need to pay transmission fees for Her too? Also I can’t see the consent form kindly confirm. Lastly I can’t remember the biometrics print out slip given after biometrics is it a small square paper?

Biometric done by Adult : October 4th
Passport request for kids: Nov 29
Medical request for Adult Nov 29. Sent mail and uploaded my Upfront medical via webform to IRCC.
Medical Request for adult updated to passed Nov 30
Sent passport of Kids to IRCC via VFS
God that gave my kids Visiting visa will give me my Visitor visa. In Jesus Name. Amen

I applied for a visit visa in Feb 2022 but I’m yet to get any updates since then, so I sent a webform around November and I got a response which I don’t know how to go further about it ,because I don’t have access to the email attached to my Gckeys.

Frustration on Tourist Visa. Applied Nov/Dec. 2020. Did biometrics same December. Nothing yet till now. Not even a message.

Heyy guys..my mother got PPR last month..she submitted her passport to Abuja last week Friday..after tracking it I got this—-Visa application, tracking ID No.**************** Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office on 2023/01/03. That's not correct, Vfs still do walk in passport submission. I submitted mine days ago, and paid 10,940. No appointment needed. 8am to 10am daily.
