Back-to-Back Cleansheets for Uzoho

Francis uzoho played all 90 today and yet again kept a Cleansheet in Omonia Nicosia's 3-0 away league win over Enosis Paralimni in the Cypriot Prothatlima Cyta Matchday 17. His side stays 5th on the table.

It was Uzoho's 6th cleansheet across 16 games played in all competitions in 22/23.

Which Nigeria stadium do u suggest?
Almost all the good stadia in Nigeria are named after somebody. it'll be disrespectful to name of them after Pele. FIFA can build is a stadium and we'll name it after Pele.

Semi Ajayi finally returns to ACTION.

Semi Ajayi finally played his first game today since he returned from injury. His last game was on August 30 vs Wigan (the day he sustained an injury).

He came in on 88mins in West Brom's 1-0 win over Reading FC in the English Championship.

It was Ajayi's 8th league appearance.

Chuba Akpom scored again today to take his goals count up to 13 in the league in 19 games (13 starts).

His goal helped Michael Carrick's Middlesbrough secure a 3-1 away win over Birmingham City.

2022 Flashback: Victor Osimhen had the 2nd most headed goals in the 2022 Calendar year across the European Top 5 Leagues.

Only Harry Kane scored more headed goals than Victor Osimhen in the Euro Top 5 leagues throughout 2022.

Not even Headmaster, Luuk De Jong scored more headers than Osimhen in 2022 across the Big 5.

Exactly. It's not our fault. This info should be on any airwave with necessary pressneck. Now we dey carry european stats for head and in the future someone "africanish" will complain, forgetting that they aren't doing the basic of letting the public know about stats of decades back.

Lagos. The one he played in. Although it's too much. It's better Fifa renames it's HQ The Pele House or otherwise.

Yes daveP i got your point well... till today Cameroon believe Roger Milla still the best and even Samuel Eto agreed,no debate.Thomas Nkono rated all time best goalkeeper in Cameroon,no argument but in Nigeria reversed is the case.We don't remember or appreciate our yesteryears players,we believe they are not good enough.I remember calling Rufai,Agbim upgrade.I can say it anywhere that we have not got winger like Segun Odegbami.Stephen Keshi remain best CB in Nigeria history.Muda Lawal remain my best DM and I can only compares Emma Amuneke to Adokiye Aimesemeaka but I will pick Adokiye. The ex players that people still rate are Yekini,JayJay Okocha,Kanu and good Enyeama is getting good review now as all time best keeper but fact remain we have some ex players to be celebrated but there is no platform for people to know much about them, imagine Pele came down in the 70s but many soccer fans don't even know just like Muhammed Ali in Nigeria in the late 70s.

Things so bad nobody wants to even hype anyone cos what will make it so are never projected by those expected to do so. I pray the factory reset happens in this sports sector. The fact that opta doesn't really have much on nigeria ballers compared to the francophones is even annoying.

Yes but talking of real campus fun I gave it to main campus, guys there were more focus regarding studies ... Mini campus then was damn too vulnerable cos we have Kwara poly institute of technology, college of education campus very closed... Truly fun with people like my buddy now Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA,ex polish international Emma Olisadebe though main campus guy but do come to mini campus to catch fun,one cap super eagles player Dayo Ajoge,Olympian Bisi Afolabi, his bro Kayode Afolabi,Tunji Afoayan a brand manager Guinness International, now associate professor Ibrahim Salawu and we have father figure in ex international coach Amusa Adisa but cultism then was on the rise.I felt more as a university student anytime am in main campus.

It is what it is,

Also my first knowledge of Teslim Balogun is through a comic book, Supa Strikers, It's also through same I knew, of Okala, Benedict, And I think that Shegs Okoro is Segun Odegbemi himsef

Thing is that all the info are there, but many are in Comics, It will take constant reading of such to understand that it talked about decedes past

Thing is those Ex internationals who are supposed to be helping in reliving those sweet decedes past are now more greedy asking personal gains than doing something to develop the sport back home,

Look at Segun Odegbemi himself, He can't bring his former teammates together to relive old times, worst still He is busy promoting his own personal project,

But what can I said, Everyman for himself

There was this military Administrator, who Transformed the Old Bendel State through Sport, Such that great Sportsmen emerge from the State, Forgot his name though,

His template then was spot on, Would had been great to follow it

It seems you don't really understand Big Sege... He did well for his former teammates. He was the rally point if need arise and I got my fact through late Moses Otolorin who was battling health issues.I asked him why not inform Odegbami and he showed me some stuff, honestly Odegbami did his best.

Did you know Odegbami made sure Nigeria won her first gold medal through Chioma Ajunwa. He took over Ajunwa training program prior to Atlanta 96 when fund was not coming from sport ministry and at the end Ajunwa gave Nigeria first individual gold in Olympics.
