Can one write the PTE exam without a passport, say with National Id for example?
My younger sister has found herself in this situation for some reasons - agent that did her application said she would be fine with the general IELTS that’s not UKVI as she has a high actors against my concerns. Now she has received an email to provide the UKVI one. We booked IELTS in a rush and they have denied her taking the exam this morning.
Her passport is still with the embassy so I am looking for a way to savage the situation.

Good afternoon house.

I need some form of advise or clarification.

Biometrics done on the 2nd of AUG with my wife as my dependant and paid for courier.

Received a notification 9th Aug showing I wrote and submitted the wrong type of IELTS exam and was given 10 working days to submit the right one, it was not enough so I responded to the mail requesting for more time and was given till 9th of Sept.

Wrote PTE Academic UKVI on the Aug 24th and submitted same day.

Received Visa collection mail from TLS on the 29th Aug and a text stating I will receive my passport in few days.

Dependant Visa status has not changed as it is still pending with DMC.

Is this good or I should contact TLS because I am yet to receive my passport

Why dont u do ecctis?? Fast track 24hrs fast track. I did 48hrs for a friend and the even got it done in 24hrs.

Yes please. If u have ur transcript and medium of instruction ready including your final certificate then ecctis will be swift. You dont need ur passport for it

She went with coloured passport copy page, national ID card and email from embassy! They refused her entry

Tell ukvi your challenge and that u need ur passport to to get the new ielts test result.

Ask of they can release ur passport without denying your visa....?? Its a long short but that look like ur way out right now

No! They asked for letter of consent for the children.

They’ve specifically stated in their email that they will under no circumstances release passport. Just hoping there are other exam options with national Id card.

The next option for her is Eccits. if she can just raise the money and do it. ti does not matter if is HND or Bsc. the most important is she has English Proficiency and Probably check through her transcript. i hope she score well in her Communication in English. i know all through her Semesters in school there is always a course called Communication In English.
