There was this military Administrator, who Transformed the Old Bendel State through Sport, Such that great Sportsmen emerge from the State, Forgot his name though,

His template then was spot on, Would had been great to follow it
Samuel Ogbemudia 1967 to 1976 as military governor later bacame Bendel state governor again as elected democratic governor under NPN in 1983.He was a lover of sport and truly sport administrator, then most great Sportsmen came from old Bendel State just cos of his blue print.

Are we witnessing the rise of a new footballing great? Time will tell. However, there is a big promise coming with Rico Lewis of Manchester City. He looks like the ultimate inverted full back.

TSN is obv a cityzen :?

There's a certain Butler Oyedeji on Arsenal's bench. Any expose on him? Read that it's his mom who is Nigerian.
Iwobi starting as expected, Iheanacho on the bench as expected but Ndidi back to the bench again. Looks like Soumare has wrestled his shirt from him for now. Hopefully Ndidi bounces back stronger and reclaims his starting shirt. In the last game, Ndidi was subbed for Tielemans, looks like Dewsbury Hall and Soumare are looking like the preferred 2 in the middle and either Tielemans or Ndidi fight for the 3rd middie shirt.
MODIFIED
Ndidi did indeed start the game but was later removed

The real sports administrators are gone, gurus like Nathaniel Idowu father of great UK Oympian Philips Idowu,Isaac Akioye,Anthony Ikhazobor,Emeka Omeruah,Patrick Okpomo,Brai Ayonote,Sunday Dankaro,S.B.Williams,professor Emiola and many but what do we have now are thieving sport administrators who don't care about development.

Zoo tinz in Sport. When i saw the Gumel approved for 5th time, i knew we'll all see grandkids before sports factory reset settles

It is what it is,

Also my first knowledge of Teslim Balogun is through a comic book, Supa Strikers, It's also through same I knew, of Okala, Benedict, And I think that Shegs Okoro is Segun Odegbemi himsef

Thing is that all the info are there, but many are in Comics, It will take constant reading of such to understand that it talked about decedes past

You sabi. Same way i didn't know. Popc picked up one pf the comics i brought and started talking about Teslim of those years like an open book. Who do us like this?

I think Mohammed Ali was in Nigeria, During one of Either OBJ/shehu time as head of states, before he went for his Rumble in the Jungle fight
There's even a miniseries on Mohammed Ali i watched early this year. His arrival to Nigeria was well documented in it.

That comic book is still on sell, and They had even started showing it on a TV station, mostly around 4pm or so

it was during myvJunior schooling days I stumble on it, since then I had been an avid reader of it and today's sport newspaper

It's taken an age of ups and downs and in many cases poor performances but after a decade of trying.

It looks like CHUBA AKPOM is now getting recognition and he could be in the EPL this month. Multiple suitors on account of his excellent performance in the Championship.

Can he transfer his current form to the EPL I really have my doubts, but he is not going to cost too much his contract will be out in the Summer.

So it will not take a lot of money to get him out of Middlesbrough, 13 goals in the Championship at barely the half way mark is no joke.

Samuel Chukwueze scores again.

7th goal of the season across all competitions.

13 G/A this season already in 24 games (15 starts).

And you did be surprised how I knew of it, Comics too, in the comic section of one of our dailies,

And I think it's was fought in Kinshasa Congo,
That's where Ali coined the word, 'Dance like a butterfly, Sting like a bee '

indeed it's a Rumble in the Jungle

Things so bad nobody wants to even hype anyone cos what will make it so are never projected by those expected to do so. I pray the factory reset happens in this sports sector. The fact that opta doesn't really have much on nigeria ballers compared to the francophones is even annoying.

Senegal has more players in the top 5 Leagues than any other country in Africa, that may explain it.

He should stay at Boro until the end of the season, his suitors Southampton and Everton might go down at the end of the season

13 G/A this season already in 24 games (15 starts).

For context, Chukwueze recorded only 10 G/A (7 goals, 3 assists) for the entirety of last season across 38 games in all competitions.

This season, he already has 7 goals, 6 assists (13 G/A) in 24 games (15 starts) across all competitions.

His most productive seasons were the 18/19 & 20/21 seasons with 14 G/A and 13 G/A respectively. He could set a new personal best this season. That's inevitable.

Chuks is flying under Quique Setien.
