One of the claims made by Tinubu men is that Obasanjo is envious of Tinubu.

But the question is why should Obasanjo envy Tinubu after achieving all these?

And remember he is also a retired military general.
Because OBJ is a nylon weight politician that can not even win his polling unit.
He cannot help a councillor win talkless of a President.

A man who has achieved far more than another should be envious?

OBJ doesn’t even pee in his pants and would never taste a microphone when asked to test the microphone!!

Tinubu has achieved nothing close to OBJ!

Obasanjo is not a politician. He is not popular among his people. He could have a name in Nigeria but not among his people . This is the reason he sees Tinubu as someone blocking his name to shine among his people
Tinubu is seen as a leader in the southwest and Obasanjo doesn't want to accept him as his leader.
Tinubu is a politician unlike Obasanjo who is a military leader.

Obj can very well be envious of him, and he actually is.
Envious and narcissistic people don’t care that they have more than you, they just want the spotlight to be on them forever ni, and once they see a big threat to that, they begging to throw tantrums and then graduate to become psychopaths.

So yes, obj has a personal beef for Tinubu, e don tey no be today.
Sotey he didn’t mind that his fellow Yoruba people would suffer when he withheld LG funds while Tinubu was governor.

So baba iyabo should go sit his wrinkled ass down at Ota, his town whose major highway he couldn’t even construct because the road stops at Lagos.

So when you’re too wicked and bitter, youll be consumed by it laslas, you and your offsprings.
I truly believe his father is ibo, he has their bitterness trait, and their his no 1 supporters.

Lol!

If you are a child, ask to be educated on who Obasanjo is in Nigerian, African and World political space.

In his letter, Obasanjo tagged ‘Friends of Nigeria and Nigeria’s Development partners’. Those world powers and external forces who in one way or the other influence the Nigerian election. These men listen to Obasanjo.

Back home, Obasanjo has a lot of goodwill all over the country. There’s no Emir’s palace Obasanjo cannot enter in the north. And with his fluency in Hausa, he’s able to speak the language of the locals to sell his agenda.

No living Nigerian possesses the kind of influence Obasanjo has.

Yes, he endorsed Atiku in 2019, what was the final outcome?

My worries is that Obasanjo always support a wrong candidate. He doesn't have an efficient political GPS. His political Antenna is faulty hence his wrong political judgement. This election is between Tinubu and Atiku. This is the fact.

The first person Obasanjo genuinely support and handed over to was Yaradua. Was Yaradua a bad choice?

Jonathan was a child of circumstance and Obasanjo just had to adopt him. And Jonathan wasn’t such a terrible choice when put in perspective.

Buhari was a choice made due to lack of options.

So, how do you mean he supports the wrong people?

ChukwuObe:

Only fools dont know that OBJ never wanted any Yorubas to outshine him. And why dont you ask yourself the same question as to why OBJ was against Awolowo and also Abiola to ensure they did not become president? And if if not envy, what is that? Or do you think OBJ is better than Awolowo or Abiola? Just be truthful to yourself.

Those who voted against Yoruba candidates in 1979 and 1999 should not expect Yorubas to vote for their own candidate this time around. It will never happen. Yoruba candidates were not good for you to vote for but you think now that your own candidate are good and that Yorubas will vote for him. It will never happen. Only bastards in Yoruba land will vote for any candidate from the land that refused to vote for Awolowo and Olu Falae

Obasanjo's endorsement has no value not only in Yoruba land, but also in the northern part of Nigeria. The man is an old vindictive human being that doesn't forgive or forget. He has had envious issues with Tinubu for over 24 yrs. His endorsement has absolutely nothing to do with Peter Obi and the Igbos; believe it or not, it will simply be a major blow to Obasanjo's legacy if Tinubu ever becomes the next president.
Tinubu is not only a better human being, but also a top notch leader when it comes to connecting with all people, respecting all people, listening to every Nigerian at all levels and getting great things done by getting everyone involved (a unique American mindset).
So, it is Ok for Obasanjo continue to fool himself, while the great people of Nigeria stay focused on casting their votes to the best candidate.

At this point greediness, vindictiveness and lack of foresight can never allow Obasanjo to see past his nose... You do not have to believe me, just ask Obasanjo's children (especially his first son that lost his first wife to his father (Obasanjo).
How can I listen to a man that slept with his own son's wife? Give me a break; Obasanjo doesn't have the moral standard or political credentials to tell Nigerians how to cast their votes.

Obasanjo should tell Nigerians how $17B power project money disappeared during his final 4 years as the Nigerian president.
