Don't try this in Nigeria. We don't have strong institutions to hold manufacturers/ retailers accountable for anything...and don't even mention competition because the only competition that will be happening is "who is worse at price gouging".

See me laughing at his suggestions.

There are a lot of price of things in the country that's inflated because of our people innate greed.

REMINDER!

Start doing your permutations sensibly and objectively.

Total eligible voters in Nigeria per region;

SE = 11m
NW = 22m
SW = 18m
NC = 15m
SS = 15m
NE = 12m

Kano is in North West!!!

Buhari at the height of his powers got 15m votes, and 12m Bloc votes in his losing runs.

At this point it's become a competition for who will say and do the most obscene thing to get a predictable clap back that they'd present to BAT as their haven worked for the victory they're betting on. Last time around it was an actor that went nude to profess his love for BAT, today it's Brymo with the brazen tribalism.

If you're wondering why a lot of Southerners would rather an Atiku wins, this is exactly why. You can't be running a campaign with this sort of energy and at the same time mouthing Southern alliance.

The attached is a more reasonable and acceptable definition of magun or thunderbolt in local parlance.

Nollywood feeds viewers with a lot of nonsense, one of which is magun depicted as a supernatural or spiritual attack.

That herbalist in Ekiti probably took performance enhancing drugs before engaging in coitus and got heart attack or his high pressure was way up high. But because the husband of the cheating woman is a white garment church clergy , I know Nigerians go talk say na Magun.

Well said.

I've always maintained that all what people see as spiritual problems are physical in nature.

Have you come across any spiritual issues and what makes them spiritual or supernatural?

FYI..... permutate sensibly.

APC has control of;

5/6 NC States
6/7 NW states
3/6 NE states
5/6 SW states
2/5 SE states
1/6 SS states

..... yet according to Canopians; its not a national party and has no chance against one mushroom party that has no even elected Councillor anywhere in Nigeria.

Joke apart, I like your analysis. This is a very good way of analysing politics. In an ideal situation APC will win NE, NW, and NC in combine votes but I pray against ideal situation in such regions.

God will not allow it to happen in Jesus Name, Amen.

The fact that presidential and governorship elections are not happening same Saturday makes some of these permutations premised on which party is controlling which state not anywhere near what will eventually happen .

The presidential elections comes first and the voting public will be having to choose between the top 4 presidential candidates . Those that will vote for Kwakwanso will do so , those for Obi , Tinubu and Atiku will do same strictly on whatever sentiments they have for any of them . The governor of lets say Imo state that is an APC governor cannot force people to vote Tinubu’s APC simply because he’s an APC governor . The people can vote for Obi in the presidential election and the governor may still win on the next Saturday ( This is an hypothetical illustration ) .

Personally I think the governors have less say in the voting direction of the people of their respective states . Adeleke for example cannot determine if Osun will vote Atiku ahead of Tinubu or not. It all comes down to the political structure on ground , how cosmopolitan the state is, the religious composition of the state, the relationship between people of the state and the current FG, etc. A lot of factors will come into play .

You're banking on this?
Homogenization of each region matters.

There are more Igbos in Lagos and Ogun alone than they are Yorubas in the whole SE.

There are more Akwa Ibomites in SW than there are Yorubas in Akwa Ibom.

That's why Buhari's winning margin in 2019 with Osinbajo on the ballot against Atiku/Obi was less than 310,000 in the whole South West.

But Buhari lost millions in the South East. And millions in the South South too.

When you do your projections, consider the homogeneity or heterogeneity of these regions. The SW heterogeneity is a weakness for Tinubu's candidacy.

Tinubu can't get block votes in SW but Obi can get block votes in the SE and split it with Atiku in some SS states.

I have said more than once here that the 1999 rubbish constitution is the main impediment to Nigeria's progress, No candidate can perform to his very best due to that rubbish document. This is why i am voting for Peter Obi, cos if not anything i believe he will reduce cost of governance and cut out wastages, grow the economy and improve Education. Our Polithiefcians are very good at wasting money on very unnecessary ventures....

He should also give an explanation for why politicians in the South East never appeal to the Yoruba community in the SE to win votes in SE states but politicians in the South West must suck up to Igbo and ND communities in SW to win votes. Always.
It's a numbers game and when it comes to numbers, Obi has the advantage in this home region while Tinubu's chances in his home region are tethered on the edge - he could fall either way; but Obi's chances in his are certain.

These people are never smart enough to put statistics or numbers in context.

Tinubu's speech in Kano today, value absent, vibes present. These Northern politicians clearly have Tinubu on his puppet strings.
