You know when you watch war movies and the war is breaking out and all the women and children are running looking for cover, and the men are fighting.

This is what you guys sound like, specifically the women lol. I understand wanting to be safe, but there's something about who weak and freightful the average Nigerian man is right now that's very unnatural and alarming. And they're proudly afraid. Of what use is such a person? Men are afforded a lot of priviledges in most cultures under the pretense that when things like this happen on the homefront, they won't be running around spreading gossip and moaning. Because if the women are doing it, and the children and doing it, and the men are joining them, nothing will ever come of this group of people. But in Nigeria, men have the fiber of 6 year olds but still expect to lord over women and children in the name of be submissive and respect your elders.

It's very unnerving, but i think it's because I'm American and culturally this level of 'bitchassness' is very hard to stomach coming from men. Talking about what one women said to another about some men fighting. The ones fighting are fighting for your life. As they are fighting, you're on the internet complaining that the fight is scary. You don't think the ones fighting are afraid? I hope you're (all) contributing more than this.

If you believe in Ebubeagu, join them. If you believe in IPOB, join them. If you have no skin in the game stay out (with your mouth and actions). But don't be on the internet complaining that it's loud or scary or ppl can go home and flex december clothes.

Because it doesn't end there. One friend I have (also igbo-american) told me he was in Ontisha main market and 4 malnourished boys with sticks held and entire road hostage. Sticks. Not even guns. And everyone was afraid to confront them except the ones that just came from abroad. The men on the road will then go home and start shouting at their wife about being submissive and being a hebrew woman lol.

This mentality of taking the benefits and neglecting the duty is why everything in Nigeria looks the way it does. You want to talk about getting things done. Do you know how couragous people behave, and do you know how much courage it takes to 'get things done'. If you don't fight have courage, which shows its self in ones behavior, you can forget about 'getting things done'. You cannot be a coward and comfortableor safe at the same time. There's a proverb that says 'ohu me nke oma, to tuwakwa ujo, o me nke oma, o tuwakwa ujo'. I'm not asking anyone to be a freedom fighter or whatever but at least, as a man, shut up.

You are probably somewhere in the US giving us lecture on courage - something you will never try yourself. So, I will only take you seriously when you come down to lead the secessionist group in order to liberate the Igbos from the shackles of the Nigerian state.

You guys don't learn and didn't learn from war of 1967. Apparently, you become too emotional and only cry when the damage is done. Nobody thinks before acting.

It's quite unfortunate that a large population of young men from the South East are uneducated and the educated ones supply them resources and falsehood to fight a battle they obviously cannot win.

I have repeatedly told sane minds that the Igbos alone don't have the wherewithal to break away from Nigeria. Cry all you want, you cannot change the fact. Nigeria can only disintegrate when two or more regions come together to fight the military and other armed-to-teeth security operatives.
Until then, you guys are only encouraging a bunch of frustrated young people to destroy the development that took the region decades to achieve. When you have lost it all, you start wallowing in pangs of regret!

FYI, the Igbos are NOT the only tribe poorly treated in Nigeria. The battle should be the peoples of Nigeria against the political class because they are the major problem of the country. In fact, people of the South South feed the country and get so little in return. Yet, you don't see them take up arms against the Nigerian state in the name of secession because they probably know that the military will mess up their lands, set their houses ablaze, take turns to rape their women, destroy their homes and farmlands, and scare away all businesses from their region.

I don't beg for validation from anyone; this is common sense! Common sense teaches those who care to pay attention and study events of the past. Again, you don't lecture courage - you act courageously. Stop deceiving these young boys laying down their lives for a battle they cannot win. If you must fight, take up arms and lead the rest of us from the frontline, not giving us lectures over the Internet while enjoying your soul food somewhere in New York!

you don't know my story and I don't know yours. All I know is what you have said and all you know is what i have said. The ones that believe they have the wherewithal are apply it, those who do not believe they have it are abstaining for apply it. Studying the events of the past should not make you afraid of your present.

We have to look at the cost of cowardice in Nigeria. An environment with men will not function or look like Nigeria. But when a slightest threat appears, men who are the frontline of defense against danger will pride themselves in their fear and trepidation. They will mistake their inability to do the right thing as wisdom. Look at hard work, or struggle as a vice and going to the east to flex church clothes in december as a virtue. Do you think with all of the bones and muscles God put in you, the thing we need you for right now is your opinion or mouth?

But these are differences in ideology. Maybe you see the world differently than I do. But unless I'm talking to a woman, the very thing I'm talking about (an adult man talking about armed conflict in a way that's unbecoming of a man) still stands. You're too old to be crying for adults to intervene and you're too young to be advising, so what you're doing right now is unbecoming. lol at soul food

As an independent observer, I must state here that Hope Uzodinma is an insincere man.

That man had 4 years to start all these projects but didn't. In fact, I am still trying to understand any significant thing he has achieved the past three years. Perhaps you should enlighten me.

Just one year to go, he wants to complete all these projects. Some things just don't make any sense.

It's not my job to enlighten you Sir. You owe that to yourself.

People of the White race don't wait for death from gunmen.
In Nigeria, a guy with a gun can hold 10 men hostage, none of the men would think: once I pounce on this gunman, the gunman will either shoot me dead or I succeed in stopping the gunman from
killing me and others. Even if the gunman starts to shoot and kill me in the struggle, the other nine hostages would have joined me in the struggle to neutralize the gunman.
The message is: cowards die many times before their deaths.
Death for anyone tyring to bring armed conflict with Nigeria's armed forces to Igbo land in the name of struggle for restoration of Biafra.
But it's cowardice sitting down, watching State actors and obvioulsly sposored non-State actors shooting and killing unarmed Igbos.

TERRORIST?
Terrorism has many branches. There is terrorist government also.
How do you define a state governor who camped soldiers in the 2nd largest city in his state in guise of fighting off unknown gunmen who earlier had a fracas with police in the area; once in a while, unknown gunmen are sent to exchange gunfire with the camped soldiers; the soldiers go into the town, they wittingly or unwittingly kill many innocent people, burn business premises they believe the unknown gunmen would be hiding in; the population and businesses in the city flee, the governor and his media team tell people that until the people of the area stop the attacks, nothing from the government to the area; the area is now becoming a ghost city? Whoever camps soldiers in a city to confront civilians without formal declaration of war in the country, is merely struggling to destroy the city.

Listen, a representative of a terrorist government must not open mouth and brand someone airing his/her opinion as a terrorist.

A lot of fools on here think they can raise their manufactured and revised narratives up to the level of 'well reasoned argument' or 'fact'! I am not a columnist or a novelist but I'm sure u really understand my point. Scotland want freedom from great britain catalonian want freedom from spain with all their leaders in support but we never see anything violence in those countries but we choose to be killing and kidnapping our people here in the name of fighting for Biafra. Tell me what is my cousin's offense? Even if he was a civil servant in IMO state was that the reason he deserved to be killed? Today our brothers indiaspora are afraid to come back to east and u know this people are the main investors we have in igbo land. How can u come do u want to be killed or kidnapped? I noticed that ur handle has been hyping this current administration but if we are been honest with ourselves this hope adminstration is nothing to write home about , for years he has been in power he has been constructing the same road over and over again, look at mcc uratta road, world bank, old road, federal poly to futo road , etc all this roads mentioned aren't even up to 7km and he been in them years while collecting money for FAAC,local government funds, IGR, 13% oil etc and yet nothing is happening in imo , look at the unemployment rate ? Or the insecurity

Something you guys should ask yourself if what ur promoting is right

Nope never, you don't expect onlookers to be granted access to heavily construction sites, unless when govt agencies pay a visit.

Wow! This is the biggest in the east. Very beautiful and greenery. This is what I want to be seeing that gladens my heart not those mushrooms radio stations that won't create jobs.

Secondly, Nigeria is a big open market for us to carry out our commercial capability. For those of you here shouting BRAFLA sympatizers should respect yourself, take your ESN/UGM/IPOB bandits to wherever you came from. Imo state is not part of it and more of SS than SE, very educated people different from the rest igboland. IPOB are taking advantage of the reserved Bushes for cultivations as their hideout. They all came from the neighboring states to perpetrate NMK's evil agenda.

Nigerian Breweries in Enugu should be the biggest in Nigeria.

As for agitators, the locals harbour them that's why soldiers don't pity anyone when they invade a community.

I am not saying it's right to destroy an entire community because of a few, but if you understand how Nigeria's frustrated soldiers operate, you know everyone must avoid them at all cost.

Hahaha! Nnewi man is very cunny and crafty in nature, they've dealt with me, they have sweet mouth to steal your money. Uzodinma knows what innoson knows, that's why he(IVM) wants to collect money and not carry out his own part of the deal.. Innoson should spread out and not making his company a local family buying and selling business company. Owerri/PH can help him spread further not in his village alone.
