So after all the pump of the "rally". Despite the imported crowd, tinubu couldn't even address the crowd for up to 60 seconds!! shocked shocked

So then what was the aim of the campaign??

I thought a campaign rally is for the candidate to address his audience and tell them his plans for the state and country?

So if the candidate himself would not address his supposed supporters, what then was the aim of paying for the while crowd?

This Nigeria! Better vote wisely oo!

REMINDER!

Start doing your permutations sensibly and objectively.

Total eligible voters in Nigeria per region;

SE = 11m
NW = 22m
SW = 18m
NC = 15m
SS = 15m
NE = 12m

Kano is in North West!!!

grin

..... what is own goal or not clear here?! What is my concern with numbers of non-indigenes in each region? Ain't they part of eligible voters again?

I advised you guys to start permutating with available data, you're turning it against APC chances.... LOL

How the numbers favour your mushroom Party is something you should be more worried about.

Start permutating sensibly.

The fact that presidential and governorship elections are not happening same Saturday makes some of these permutations premised on which party is controlling which state not anywhere near what will eventually happen .

Personally I think the governors have less say in the voting direction of the people of their respective states . Adeleke for example cannot determine if Osun will vote Atiku ahead of Tinubu or not. It all comes down to the political structure on ground , how cosmopolitan the state is, the religious composition of the state, the relationship between people of the state and the current FG, etc. A lot of factors will come into play .

Apart from this, none of the governors has the power of incumbency per say, only one out of the 17 APC northern governors are running for reelection. They are not on the ticket themselves. Soo their influence does not necessarily translate to the ballot as they're not on it.

Canopians are permutating like this is no longer Nigeria...................................... LMFAO.

Governors have no influence indeed, but Obasanjo and Adebanjo have influence?!

I have been waiting for Images from Ekiti rally,
perhaps its under Canopies as usual.

Your mushroom party ought to hold a rally in Osun yesterday according to timetable, a ri ń kánkán, a gbọ́ ń kánkán. Your party is expected to hold a rally today in Ekiti, internet is dry.... LOL

Even if Nigeria had refining capacity, one way or the other, subsidies would still be needed

For instance, dangote’s refinery would have the capacity to fulfill local demand but what happens when diesel is being sold for 10€ a gallon in Europe and in Nigeria he can’t get such figures based on the purchasing power of Nigerians

Would his prioritize local demand and accept lower profit margins, I don’t think so.

Oh, I get your point.

Somehow there will be concessions from the FG like buying crude oil below international prices.

Your point is very valid.

Don't try this in Nigeria. We don't have strong institutions to hold manufacturers/ retailers accountable for anything...and don't even mention competition because the only competition that will be happening is "who is worse at price gouging".
I talked about private refineries.

Those guys in the creeks refining oil can be the saviors of Nigeria economy if when managed and harnessed.

There has to be a way out. The cost of energy is rising geometrically and more people will be thrown into poverty in days.

You think Northerners are like Southerners. grin grin. We still dey learn politics for South. They are light years ahead of us.

You think an outgoing Northern Governor will not have influence on the election?

Just a meeting with the Sultan, the Emirs, and the chief Imams of those states will influence any election whatsoever.

You don't do the Governor's bidding, and he will remove you like they removed Sanusi.

The only person that needs to talk in the North is the SULTAN. All of them will shift ground fast.

Na here we no send Obi, Ooni or Obasanjo o. To them, it is NORTH FIRST o. Everybody face the same place.

I don't think Obi can hope on the north. If he is wise he will concentrate on the south and NC to at least secure a run off.

That said, the north will be widely split- forget the APC induced crowds. The north vote on religious sentiment. That means that Tinubu with his MM ticket will share most of the votes with Atiku. The Christians and few other non-northeners will gravitate towards Obi.

Obi will definitely win the entire south.

This election will be determined by voter turnout in the regions. Insecurity accross the nation is a big factor. Those who are able to convince their people to turnout more will deliver their candidate.

I think the circumstances favour Obi as he is guaranteed almost 3 regions.

Rigid region. They use sharia law, we us 'secular' law.

I won't be surprised if they decide to vote for ATIKU, and then decide to leave the remaining regions. They will then win.

But they didn't leave Jonathan the first time, and they didn't leave OBJ twice.

Hausa Christians will vote for Peter Obi..... alright we agree.

Why are they bothered again and broke-shaming same Northerners? Why calling them illiterates when you're admitted they are only after BAT's money?

Ain't they fooling BAT again?

Kano rally land heavy blow on their senses, hence the malfunctioning.

In Delta, we held our rally at Delta South..... e get why.

For Edo, we are holding our rally at Edo North...... e get why too.

You've to be strategic in politics. You must always take into account your strengths and weaknesses before any move. Also understand your strongholds and keep hold of it firmly.
