Oga Charles,Rohr didn't believe in NPFL. Rohr mindset towards NPFL was terrible, reason no single player was able to make it except Enyimba second choice Ekenna Ezenwa. If he was talking about old age then why keep on bringing old and bench warmer from NPFL into the team.

Gernot Rohr contributed to our goalkeeping issue, bringing in a regional keeper like Maduka Okoye to super eagles to upift his career.Haba six good years, what he can gave us are Uzoho,Okoye,Akpeyi and Ezenwa

He has done his best and we thanked him for that, especially qualified us to 2018 WC.

Nobody is forcing NPFL players into eagles but where we are lacking and very obvious we don't even have it abroad then we should look inward e.g goalkeeping dept.

Anybody telling me Okoye and Uzoho would come good is deceiving himself cos they are not that talented, keeping for national team no be moi moi.The real solution to eagles goalkeeping problem is NPFL,even if the league is terrible.Good Ike Shorunmu is ready to shake things up.
with regards to the goalkeeping department it will be ideal to scout from the local league. I pointed that out few months ago judging by okoye and uzoho’s awful performances in the national team but when it comes to outfield players scouting from the npfl is a waste of time and resources

He should just end this season with Boro but with Viera as Palace coach, cool idea.
I doubt Boro will allow him leave

They are doing incredibly well under carrick and one of the candidates to take up one of the playoff spots

Supporters of Npfl carpenters over to you cheesy

Have said this many times that our national team handlers should concentrate more on grassroot, academy and lower league talents than these bricklayers parading themselves as professional footballers in our top tier league clubs
Good point sir. Rohr also blamed run down pitches and bad organization too, intermittent stopping of the league, lack of youth teams sections for these clubs as well.

Sadiq Umar on his "Almost" Sevilla move

Umar Sadiq explains that he might have ended up at Sevilla, had they not asked too much of him.

“I was speaking to Sevilla with the permission of Almeria. Everything was agreed. Both teams had a difference of 2 million euros and when they told me to press to leave, I refused."

yea he was out for some time but just returned

His recent good performance against Milan in a friendly few days ago prompted the inquiry from the serie A champions about a transfer this winter window but psv declined saying that they aren’t prepared to lose him and gakpo the same time until summer

African football matters. Read on BBC that Cameroon U17 are un disarray, of an initial 30 member crew, 21 failure the MRI, another group was invited and 11 of those ones also failed grin cheesy. Africa and cheating!!! I blame it on acute poverty though, it was reported that Eto ordered the tests. Meanwhile they have a game on the 12th of Jan.

I hope we did MRI for the boys who played in the qualifiers. Also since last year's WAFU tourney I hope we don't have boys who have now outgrown U17 or at risk of failing another MRI.

Everton and Crystal palace interested in Boro’s striker Chuba Akpom

Not surprised.

Unfortunately, football is very time constrained and when players are bought during the January transfer window, clubs are especially desperate and therefore values go up.

If he waits until summer there will far more options and his value will not be as high. Also we are barely half way be through the season there is no guarantee he will be top goal scorer at the season end. And his value may depreciate.

My view, he is 27 this could be his flash in the pan season. He should strike while the iron is HOT and secure a long contract as well as long term financial future.

My preference Crystal palace.

The Championship is stupendously competitive and from my perspective there Burnley and Sheffield United are already in the EPL. They are far too ahead to be caught that's automatic promotion.

That leaves one position to be fought for by 11 teams 10 of those teams have no more than 4 points between them.

Middlesbrough know they are not guaranteed and will rather sell a player they bought for very little for upwards of £ 10 million possibly. Particularly as his contract expires in the summer.

etoo is doing the right thing. Qualifying for the u17 World Cup or winning it shouldn’t be a do or die affair. Main goal of the competition is to raise the next super stars not age cheats masquerading to be 17

Unfortunately even a striker who has finally found his feet in the EPL (Awoniyi) is finding it hard to make the Eagles team. Behind Osimehn, the pecking order seems to be Moffi, Awoniyi, Paulo and a fit Sadiq. I put Sadiq last because of his long term injury. Once he's back, he would probably jump at least to #3.

Bankole is a good keeper. He was let down by his Remo and CHAN teammates cos he definitely did his part. Plus being in both competitions would have really given him a case especially if they went far. But for now he should focus on proving himself all over again because consistency is the biggest issue when it comes to our players.

It's like Man City to Norwich.

Osun Babes are on some Learner's Permit with how they play. Quality to far apart.

However, for Continental Glory, i hope Bayelsa are doing all to correct the lapses shown in the last Cafwcl?

Leo Messi ticked every football tournament there is to be won
Legendary
Emi Martinez has reached mastery level in his field, he knows & feels it. It’s instinctual & an amazing feeling to get to that level
He’s the best goalie in the world right now
Been watching World Cups since 98 & Qatar 2022 is the best so far
Ranks 1st place
2nd place goes to 2002 because of golden goals
3rd place goes to France 98
I miss the Qatar 2022 World Cup honestly

On average a 21-year-old should be able to survive the MRI(Guess). All we need to do is present players 21 and below. cheesy grin. We were previously presenting men who were in their late 20s. They were all at least 25. We'll eventually get to 17. Slow and steady. cheesy
