I was attracted to the thread when Ojukwu and Ironsi were mentioned and accused falsely. It behooves on me and every true Igbo to probe any wrong accusations labelled on our heroes by both criminals and misguided urchins.

Ojukwu died a pardoned war lord

Ironsi was executed for heading an Igbo military junta that seized power violently .

if Ojukwu and Ironsi had allowed Boro to form his country, Nigeria would have been divided into 4 or 6 countries by now. Adaka Boro wouldn't have faught for Nigeria if Ojukwu and Ironsi did not sentence him to death.
All the suffering going on in the Niger Delta now is brought by the same people that are claiming brothers (igbos).
The Last Igboman to rule Nigeria was killed in 1966. That was 57years ago.
They said they were liberating the Eastern minorities from Igbo domination yet they cut large swathes of Igboland and joined it with minority lands.
They used Adaka Boro to gain understanding of the terrain and murdered him thereafter.
After using Ken Saro-Wiwa, they murdered him too.
They took over all the oil wells and shared it among themselves leaving the lands Boro was fighting for polluted.
They took billions of dollars from oil sales to develop their lands leaving Adaka Boro's land in shambles. They built rail lines to Niger republic but some how there's no enough money to build rail lines to Adaka Boro's village or even Yenagoa.
Adaka Boro's brothers are currently being rewarded as pipeline guards in their own lands while the sons of their friends are cooling off in ACed offices living large in multinational oil companies.
It's being since 57years ago that an Igbo man presided over the affairs of Nigeria yet our detractors believe that they must constantly remind Boro's people that we are the reason for their suffering and lack of development. To them, Nigeria was destroyed because of the Igbo man. None of those who ruled her from 1966 till date should be accused of any wrong doing. They should be understood for trying their best and failing even after 57years.
The point is that an Igbo man isn't fit for anything good and must be seen as such forever.
For these demons, Ndigbo and Adaka Boro's people must never get along together because Igbos can't be trusted. They who should be trusted and were actually trusted, look at where they led Nigeria to. Northern minorities are currently witnessing a genocide from Adaka Boro's friends. Everyone can see the type of friendship Adaka Boro's friends enjoy. If they didn't spare northern minorities, is it Adaka Boro's descendants that they will spare?

Who was the head of the first coup d'etat in Nigeria? You should back up your claims with verifiable facts and not conjectures.
History remembers Aguiyi Ironsi as a victim of power tussle and nothing more. If he knew he would be counted among the coupist, he would have acted differently from the carefree life he lived.

Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu of blessed memory came and made his mark as was expected of a true warrior during his time. His people were being massacred all over Nigeria without the federal power providing any protection for them. Ojukwu stepped up as a regional power to defend his people. If that is a crime, may you die any day you think of defending your family members from killers.

You support the Igbo military dictatorship dismantling the agreed upon template of governance?

Who did you bastards consult before selfishly destroying a system we all agreed to?

We know that decree 34 was a ploy to do away with regional governance for an Igbo centrist dictatorship that will administer the resources of the entire nation.

I had never supported dictatorship but trying to silence my right of preference doesn't feel like democracy either, I was born in 1995 as such I couldn't have supported or opposed the dictatorship of 1966, ofcourse just like Adaka borro the events of those days took more of force approach, if I'm faced with that option today I shall use democratic principles by lobbying other regions to see why the unitary system is more stable,

Just how I condemned Adaka borro as a rebel, I condemned Nzeogwu as a coupist, Zik didn't need to kill anyone before opposing the secession clause, well the actors always have their ways but if it were me I would use more humane and least costly approach however the end result which is the dismantling of the bloodletting regional government is something I appreciate.

Ok. Let's assume you're correct. The first coup happened on 15th January, 1966 and by July 1966, Aguiyi Ironsi was murdered. An Igbo man ruled for only 6 months.
Does it mean that the damage done for those 6 months couldn't be fixed for 6 decades?
In fact, what exactly were the damages done by the Igbo man in those 6 months? You should list them for all to read.

After Nzeogwu's coup, there have been 7 other coups but somehow none of them was levied on the ethnic group of the organizers of those coups. Only the first one led by an Igbo man was termed an 'Igbo coup'. Let impartial minds judge for themselves.

It's surprising how you compare a coup d'etat to a rape case. Both are totally unconnected. Many countries have suffered one to several coups and yet come out stronger. The USA witnessed a civil war in 1860s and yet became a world power in less than 80 years later.
Your people and their allies succeeded in removing Igbos in national politics in July 1966 and still went to war to destroy Igboland with the support of Britain and Russia(both world powers at the time and evil till today). What stopped you and your allies from developing Nigeria with Ndigbo totally out of the way for nearly 60 years? Are you still laying the blame on Ndigbo? Can't you see how stupid you will sound if this argument were to be televised for a larger audience to follow?
Just give it up and admit your failures.
For Ndigbo, our present condition is far better than it was in 1967 and yet we demand more because we know where we would have been if we were in a working country. Just do a little Google search or watch documentaries on YouTube comparing Lagos(the most developed city in Nigeria) with Nairobi, Kenya or even Dar es Salaam of Tanzania. These are poor countries when compared to Nigeria.
Shame on you for attempting to deflect the true reasons behind the destruction of Nigeria.

At least Ironsi left the 4 Regions he met with their resource control. What did the rest of you Nigerians do after killing Ironsi? You abolished the 4 Regions we had, embarked on State creation, took away resource control and gave us 36 states, most of which are not viable

Ironsi was there for 6 months, the rest of all the zones in Nigeria have had the opportunity to rule Nigeria for years since 1966, and did a thousand times worse than Ironsi

Today, look at where you people took Nigeria to as a result of 55 years of clueless misrule, porverty capital of the world, 6th most terrorised country on earth and no 149 on the global corruption index

Ironsi deserves the highest award compared to what the rest of you Nigerians did to Nigeria after Ironsi

Clearly, you don't know history. I will stop engaging you further until you learn to argue with facts.
Both the first and second Niger bridges were built with resources gotten partly from Igboland and mostly from resources gotten from the old Eastern region who are the most users of both bridges. It isn't something we should be clapping for. We aren't so psychological damaged as to celebrate few infrastructures due to decades of deprivation. Our cognitive faculty still functions proportionally.
Lastly, Ojukwu never sentenced Boro to death. He had no power to do so because he was a regional governor. It was the federal government court under Ironsi that tried and sentenced Adaka To death which was later commuted to life imprisonment.
Go back and study your history before coming online to challenge Ndigbo about the history of the 50s and 60s.

Secondly, it will help to balance the politics of the whole better South as there won't be any future immigration problems in case of any natural or man-made disaster in the future.
