An Hausa man is generally regarded as illiterate, violent, stupid and a wash-preek-from-plastic-kettle kind of individual. On the flip side, they're seen to be brutally honest and many prefer to do business with them.

An Igbo man is generally regarded as unpredictable, arrogant and a sell-your-mother-for-money kind of individual. On the flip side, they're regarded as anything but lazy.

A Yoruba man is generally regarded as dirty,lazy and a plan-with-you-&-sell-you-out kind of individual. On the flip side, they're regarded as accomodating and love living the good life.

Everything in between is (very sadly) regarded as minority and don't matter much. Calabar folks are good house helps, Edo folks are premium touts, etc etc.

In Enugu, you'll hardly get a Federal Govt job as an Anambra man. They call it "indigene" slots. We all have a tribal bias hidden in all of us. Every single f.ucking person in this damn country.

Then you've got politicians who don't give a f.uck about anything and want power at all costs...and you expect them not to play a tribal or religious card

I don't blame us. This country is just like a pot of assorted pepper soup boiling on a tripod stoked with firewood. We've gained independence. But at intervals, the colonialists adjusts the firewood, fans the flames & stirs the pot to taste.

Peter Obi can't afford to play an ethnic card because he's from a minority tribe, but the religious card he's played it because it serves him.

On thing I have learnt about politics is, politicians after they win, never bring the most fanatical of their supporters into their fold.

Buhari shunned Ezekwesili, Omojuwa and Deji when he became president even though they were his most fanatical supporters on Twitter and Facebook, cursing everyone out and threatening violence.

Laolu, PYO's spokesperson, was calm in 2013 - 2015, and even today.
Garba Shehu didn't curse people and threaten them leading to 2015.

Even Atiku's spokesperson, an Igbo man, hasn't gone overboard. He didn't do it even in the lead-up to 2019.

Brymo is wasting away whatever is left of is diminishing career, and worst even, wasting it away on a gamble which has been shown not to pay off well.

The funny thing about the whole thing is that he'd lose fans not just among Igbos and other Southern tribes, but among Yoruba's too. The Yoruba's that would go out of their way to support an artiste that has built his entire brand around conscious music are the ones that will never be caught dead being tribalists.

Tinubu is the only candidate amongst the three major candidate that has the most persons of his tribe voting for him primarily because he's from their tribe.

I really need to address this 2015 ish.
You see, I've always said that a presidency or a candidacy is beyond one individual. One of my core reasons for supporting buhari in 2015 was the implication of what that would mean for Nigeria's democracy.

And time has proven me correct on that one particular point. As of 2015, PDP was a supreme party deep in the clutches of unknown forces and cabal behind the scenes, PDP had like 27\36 governorships, 75\105 senate seats etc and for the first time, we had a genuine option to PDP who could seize power from them and do better. Well yes, they have failed woefully in almost areas of governance but one legacy of that victory is that we now had 2 big parties that decided to checkmate themselves at the polls.

They both signed a stronger electoral law because neither of the parties want the other to rig their opponents in the stronghold of the other. APC did not want PDP to rig them out in PDP states while PDP did not want APC to rig them at the states they control so they got to mutually disarm themselves at least to a great extent, that's if tye last 3 state gubernatorial elections are anything to go by.

Infact this strengthening of our democracy that has allowed Nigeria to dream of a scenario where a Labor party can win is enough reason for me to go back and vote APC again in 2015 because a defeated APC wouldn't survive post 2015 and we would be back to the supremacy of one party.

It's the same narrative I keep trying to let people see with an Obi Victory. I know for a fact that a Labor party victory at the presidency will completely,like completely be earth shattering. This is a campaign that wasn't even born a year ago, a campaign vastly outspent, vastly handicapped in comparison with the others but has been powered by the connectivity of the wide internet penetration and acceptability by the general populace.

An Obi presidency will be one that he himself knows was the epitome of a PEOPLE'S MANDATE. It would have ramifications beyond Nigeria's border's. Our fellow Africans would witness the modern miracle that has just happened and follow suit and realise the power they have. A bloodless coup on the wicked elite.

I know Brymbo has not been balanced mentally and emotionally for a while now. Even since he fell off, he's been acting like someone with Bipolar disorder. For that reason I don't even follow him nor listen to his music, I only see some of his tantrums on blogs anytime he makes the news like recently. I'm not sure any political office aspirant will want to touch him with a long pole.
