Lev.19.27 - Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard. -- null
Lev.19.28 - Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD. -- null

Agbegbaorogboye:
I've read a lot of responses saying the body will not go to heaven but the soul.
Know ye that you will account for everything you did in your body.
When you fornicate, it is your body that does so and not your soul. Some Pentecostals even claim what a man does with his body does not affect his soul except that which you "allow".

For Jesus in Matthew 12:36 says" All men shall give account in the day of judgment, ever vain word spoken
He also says in Revelation 22:12: "My reward is with me to give unto each one as his work shall be".
Thus it is with what you do in your body or with your body that your soul shall be judged.

Ephesians 2:12 remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
Here's two question for you. Did Jesus Christ lie when He said that God, the Father, sent Him only to the Lost sheep of Israel - Matthew 15 vs 20 - 26? undecided

Tattoo looks like an undeniable sign of worldliness and not paying heed to God's words. The bible says in Leviticus 19:28, "You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves: I am the Lord."
What do you say?

Don't insult me I am only showing you Bible.
They can go to heaven if they know God and keep his commandment and have a remorse heart over the tattooed body, but the bad news is, because they dont know God..thats why they had the tattoo, and thats why they cant go to heaven..syllogy

Because people like you who feel uncomfortable with others ways of living will always find something to talk about and will use the Bible as backup to judge them. You don't believe heaven is somewhere but believe one doing something on his or her own body will lead them to hell.

Do you think everyone believes in christianhood, heaven or hell?

Why are there so many roaming unrest souls on Earth, restless spirits and all?

Same Bible said it's appointed for man to die once and face judgement

Some Christian's keep preaching about last day which is judgement day

Now tell me

Brother, what gets born again is the spirit, if one isn't born again(not accepted Christ as his Lord) and has that tattoo, no be the tattoo make am go hell, it is because he isn't of Christ. If one gets born again and by so had tattoos before coming to Christ, the tattoo doesn't stop him from going to Heaven. You sound like you study the Bible, buh you see some verses that are quite confusing. Buh like I said before, here is not the place to get the right answers. Is it that you did not read when someone else taught you that even as a gentil, accepting Christ Jesus means giving up you spiritual identity, and taking his. Making you a son and heir of God, much more than just an isrealite.

Let me try to put things in perspective for those who are asking questions to understand, rather than to mock or that those who are mocking may also understand

Who are isrealite? They are not just Children of Isreal, but rather Gods Choosen people. Anyman that chooses Christ becomes choosen by God, and all Gods words and grace applies to him or her.

Again lets look at the words, The Lost Children of Isreal- Gods Choosen people. When were they lost? Actually it was in the Garden of Eden, before the man called Isreal, under the custodianship of the first Adam. Isrealites in name are only the point from where God started the salvation of mankind. His focus are his Choosen ones, Gods Elite as they are called in revelation.

Spiritually we are all Gods choosen people, because when he made man, he took from the earth, and took of himself or his breath, to make man in his image. He gave to all, the very same love of creating. That's why after Adam became Lost and sinful, God became weary of relating with us, and said in Gen 6:3, that his spirit will not dwell in Man forever, and reduced the life span of human to just 120 years (a twinkle in his own time, "time and relativity"wink. This is for those asking what our Soul is. It is Gods Spirit in Us, which is is our real spiritual self, which must account and be judged of of all things, otherwise we are no differentfrom goats and cows. If you ask me for physical evidence if your soul, I ask you why cows goats and minkeys are not just like men in their own societies.

Let me elaborate here, Before you mis-understand, the word spirit, read the book of enoch where he was shown the spirit of the four winds, etc, and various systems of the earth. Spirit simply means technology, a working system. So Gods spirit means Gods piece of Technology, that is our soul. It is what makes us different from animals. If your are into Aliens and UFOs, you will know other alien beings are obsessed with studying our souls.

Back to Christ.
After Adam was lost, Sataniel took custodianship of the earth, and its corruption by angelic or supernatural beings began. God used flood to deal with that problem. The spirits from the human crossbreeds or children of these angelic beings which belong to neither heaven nor earth are bound here on earth. They are not accepted into heaven, and they roam this earth. So they are the spirits roaming up and down, which someone asked about. They are extremely thirsty for something we where not told. Some people are stupid enough to worship them, perform rituals giving them spiritual control over your own soul. Same mistake first Adam made in disobediance.

Having dealt with Fallen angels and their crossbreed offspring. God must deal with the issue of his lost children, the offsprings of Adam. So he sent the second Adam, Christ. Who could qualify under all laws. Isrealites understood him to be a national hero, but he came as humanities hero. That's why he considered the Roman occupation of the time a trivial thing, and never gave it attention. He was sent not to Isrealites, but to the Lost of God's Choosen ones. How he fought the prinicpal battles of obedience, temptation and paying the price for our salvation or rescue is classical and celebrated in Christmas and Easter. But remember, he even went to Shoal - hell, to preach to souls whose physical bodies were already dead, that he might bring them salvation. So Christ is not just, some national hero. He has the custodianship of the earth, which he wrestled from Sataniel. He is also exalted for this feat, far above every authority or principality, that has been or that will be, for our own sakes.

Why? Because Sataniel will plan a comback, a comeback that we are warned in the revelations by Christ himself. That there will be an Anti-Christ, who will seek to rule all of us by subtle means, such that none can buy or sell except they have the mark of the beast.

This is where the question of tattoes come in. Eve, did not know that merely eating a forbidden apple, the act itself would potend the transfer of power and kingship from Adam to Sataniel. Similarly, what does tattoes potend. It may not be the image itself, but the act, which might be of different intentions for different people. The act of giving your body to something is an act of worship. The book of revelation does not just point to the beast making people receive his mark, an act of worship to him. But it also talks of the children of God Receiving a mark of Gods name on their forehead in another act of Worship. The act of marking your body in reverence to friend, mother, father, or anything is an act of worship that easily falls into Idolatory. And Did you ever hear that the Lord our God is a Jealous God. He says do not make any mark, so that you do not unwittingly worship something else.

Why is this different from all the other canon laws? Because Christ repeated this same command, when he said Love the Lord your God with all of your heart and all of your mighty. Matt 22:37. This means nothing should be between you and your love for God.

If you already did make such a mark without realising the intention behind it could be a form of Idolatry, you are not impossibly lost. Christ came to find you, even again and again that through him you may find salvation and forgiveness. So find Him and you are fine. But lets not now say that sin is not sin, that grace my abound. The sin is not in the image, but the intention behind the act. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, do not regard it carelessly to offer it to another mere mortal. Our body is the single most complex piece of physical technology on the earth, the bible say we are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Your are a very funny character. The first part of my write up was for you, the others addressed other question being asked on this thread. I believe i gave you a full answer that you understand. But if you want a deconstruction of your quote, here it is.

Matthew7:6, the term dogs meaning gentiles is your own interpretation. There is no literal reference in that passage that says Jesus was refering to gentiles. It all in your head. So no need giving further response.

Mattew 15: 20-26
You told us what Jesus said, but you did not tell us what he did. The woman replied Jesus, with faith, and he healed her daugther, and told her that her faith is great, and her daugther is healed. Has Jesus countered himself. He has done this that we may know, that it is our faith that makes us the children of God, the Choosen Ones of God, Isrealites, Gods People. Christ was sent to save Gods people, by the womans faith, she qualified. So can you, if you believe in Christ.

I hope you know God specifically sent peter to preach to and baptise a gentile, just so people like you will understand that he excludes no one from grace and salvation.

1. You gave nothing meaningful to go off of that is why I couldn't respond. undecided

2. Wrong! The term dog was used by Jesus Christ in reference to all those who are non-Israelites. This is since He was promised by God to the House of Israel-- Jeremiah 31 vs 31 - 34, just as Jesus Christ said. Therefore, in Matthew 7 vs 6, what Jesus Christ stated in reference to the agreement promised by God which He, Jesus Christ embodied, is that only those who are not dogs can have it. undecided

3. Again, wrong! The woman initially asked Jesus Christ for mercy which prompted Jesus Christ to respond that the mercy He has to give was promised only by the Father to the lost sheep of Israel. Upon hearing this, the woman then clarified that what she wanted wasn't mercy but the crumbs that fall off the Master's table which the dogs were entitled to, and only then did Jesus Christ grant her the healing she had in fact wanted instead of that which is Holy which she had likely mistakenly asked for originally. undecided

4. No amount of faith can make you an Israelite as God Himself chose that bloodline for His purpose. Faith can make one a Son of God but only if one commits entirely to obedience to the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ. The woman's faith qualified her for the crumbs from the master's table, and not for the food that belonged to the children of the master -- the agreement/Covenant that God promised only to the children of Israel whom He originally cursed and scattered to the ends of the world - Deuteronomy 30 vs 1 - 6 undecided

5. Well, if you didn't know, Cornelius was an Israelite who was also a Gentile I.e. he was of the tribes that has been cursed and scattered by God hence the reason why God sent Peter, born of one the Jewish tribes of Israel- Benjamin, Judah, or Levi- to him, Cornelius. Tattoos are on the body. You are the one confused.
Prostitutes, armed robbers, murderers, etc will be judged based on their actions (as you noted) and not their bodies/physical attributes and aesthetics.

Or do you mean--Will those who tattoo their bodies go to heaven? In that case, who knows?

1 and 2
There is nothing connecting Matthew 7:6 to Jeremiah 31. There is nothing concrete to say Jesus was talking about Non-isrealite, rather than faithless people who do not believe in him.

3. It is the same help she asked for that Jesus gave her. You are the person calling it crumbs. Her faith qualified her. So Jesus said himself when he told her, that her faith is great. Stop imposing your opinion on clearly written bible passages. We are commanded not to add or remove from the word of God, that we do not corrupt it, with our wordly wisdom.

4, My response for 3 applies. God asked us to Worship him in spirit and truth, for this reason. That we do not begin to limit ourselves with physical manifestations. Christ did not come at the time isreal was scattered, they were in their lands when he came. So your talk of curse and scattering are not relevant to his purpose. He even spoken of the scattering of the physical isreal after him. So gathering the physical isreal was never his mission.

As for 5, you are the one creating a new division Gentiles vs Jews. Again their is no place in that passage Acts 10, where it is stated that cornelius was an isrealite. He lived in ceaseria and was of good report among the jews. He was a Centurion, a commander of a centenary of Roman soldiers, so a high ranking Roman soldier, like a Roman. It is also stated in Acts 10:1, that he was from the Italian Regiment or band. Stop adding your personal opinion to Bible verses.

But leaving semantics, I leave you with the exacts words of peter.

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

1. Well, Jesus Christ is the agreement that God declared He would make with the House of Israel in Jeremiah 31 vs 31 - 34. The explanation for who the dogs mentioned in Matthew 7 vs 6 are and who they aren't is found in Matthew 15 vs 22 - 26.

2. Wrong! The woman is written to have asked, "Son of David, Have mercy on me!" See attached image. undecided

3. This response is a bunch of gobbledegook! Please before you proceed any further, I urge you to take out time this month to read through the first five books of your Bible so you at least get a background of why Jesus Christ had to come into the picture. Jesus Christ explained this in His Gospel but as many of you are given to totally ignoring His teachings all so you can cling instead to the regurgitations from your pastors and mogs, I ask that you at least read up on the Law of Moses, to get the necessary background as to the why of Jesus Christ. undecided

God scattered Israel to the four winds of the earth, the Jewish subset of Israel was the last to be cursed and scattered by God, and Jesus Christ told you this as He did warn the Jews of the coming judgment from God on them, a judgment which started less than 100 years after He left them. You need to read the book rather than comment ignorantly on what you are obviously not aware of at this point. undecided

4. If you didn't know before now that the Jews who lived in the land of Judah were not all of Israel, then the problem. Read through 2 Chronicles beginning from chapters 10 - 13 to get caught up on the makeup of those who predominantly lived in the land of Judah where Jesus Christ was born. undecided

As for Cornelius, I did post a link that gives you clear details as provided in the passage where his Israelite connection is mentioned. 5. And it so happens that the only standard of righteousness which exists outside of Jesus Christ is the Old Covenant Law of Moses which God gave only to the israelites. So what Peter said of righteousness happens to apply to the Israelites in any and every nation out there. undecided

Get a digital bible app, instead of quoting unrelated articles. Maybe this will get you to read the bible properly.

How does this translate to as "as it was in the beginning,is now and ever shall be,a world without end?" which you said earlier, like how bro?
This is sad, real sad

Matthew 24:35-38 (KJV) Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

This is what you screenshoted in context. Bro!!!

All your responses are based on you opinionated interpretation of outflung bible verses. Please learn what it means to be factual in making an argument. Your opinion is not a valid point.

You are now adding to what Peter said, outside of the clearly written verse. Just like you went into Jesus Christ's mind to discover that dogs meant non Israelites, which is not written anywhere. Then you are again doing a number on Cornelius outside what is written about him. He is a Roman soldier, likely Roman, from the Italian Regiment. These are clearly written in the Acts10. Anything you are referencing outside of the bible is a waste of my time and yours.

1. Opinions that you weren't able to properly refute? undecided

2. Are you projecting at this point or something? You clearly didn't realize before now that there existed a division between the Jews and the rest of Israel until I mentioned it here in this discussion. You also didn't even know before now that Jesus Christ said He was sent by the Father only to the house of Israel, so, why not go back through scripture and get yourself caught up on all this before you proceed? undecided
