When we spoke about the price I was quoted for dispatch, you remember your tone and your choice of words towards me, I didn't want that to repeat itself hence I didn't pick but was working to have it sent today but the money didn't come in, reason I opted to text you on WhatsApp instead of calling, what I was running from (curses & foul language) still came to live on WhatsApp, this was why I didn't pick, not for anything but to avoid what was obviously going to be a heated argument

Luclyoracle called to show interest, he bargained and we agreed on a price, after that he said, he'd want me to dispatch it for him which I don't have issues with, then he said I'll have to use part of the stabilizer fee to send it to him, which I declined because I was in need of cash, he said he doesn't have money for dispatch, I told him I can't pay dispatch fee from the money he paid for the stabilizer

We handged up, then he called back to ask if I can send it to gazzu.zz, which I obliged to because gazzu.zz stays less than 15mins away from me, he then asked I wait so he can close deal with gazzu.zz

Few mins later, he called/chatted again saying sending via gazzu.zz would be too expensive for him, at this point I felt since I can't dispatch out of the money he sent through stab and he doesn't have money to get it either

I suggested, if he's not in a hurry, I can help him send it around new year if I got some monet (note this wasn't a promise nor agreement) he said he was fine with it, then we deal

Fast forward to new year, he called me on the 2rd, I wasn't home, so I told him I'd send my cousin to go to the park and ask how much it'll cost to waybill, he couldn't make it to the park that day because of his schedule, I then spoke to Luclyoracle, that I'll send the stabilizer to him personally on Saturdays

On my way home that saturday, I branched at the park to enquire how much it'll cost to waybill, the driver said, 3,5k last, I was still without money but I budgeted 2k for waybill, I called him to let him know how much it'll cost to have the item waybilled, immediately told him, I don't have 3,5k to waybill the item, all he could say was "that's none of his problem" all he wants was his stabilizer

He started calling my wife to say all kinds of stuff.

I texted him to let him know am not obligated to send the stabilizer with my money, since he couldn't pay for dispatch and I on the other hand I can't afford to pay for it either which was made known before payment was made

Now he's on my WhatsApp calling me all sort of names, I am not one to engage with people because of minor isuues, I won't exchange words with you, that's for sure, I've seen your account number for refund.

I think you blatantly misunderstood the option, it was just an option, which I thought if you're fine with it, then I can do it, but you've decided to make it seems like an agreement or a promise

PS- I've been on this thread, I've been paid in advance couple of times and I've never had issues with anyone

I once had a completely condemned stabilizer that I put outside as a barricade for granite together with some planks and blocks, it was out there for about a year.

My uncles visited and one of them took the stabilizer and said he would sell it to aboki. I thought he had lost his mind suggesting that he could sell a damaged, rusted piece of shit for anything more than 500. He took it with them even though my other uncle and I tried to disuade him.

Few hours later, he called and they told me they had just sold it to an aboki for 4,200.

The money is not much, but I won't put that amount outside in the sun and rain for a year.

That was the first contact we had however we i told him i am not in lagos and what i priced him then was 10k later i had to increase my offer to 12k because i needed to pay for waybill and my entire budget for stabilizer was 15k.


He rejected the offer.

I wasnt really in need of it then.

However Yeyeboyfriend called me the next day that he needed money for something urgent and its really on his neck that if i could pay immediately he would send it later during the new year cus sending it now would be very expensive considering its festive period and everything would be on the high side that from new year he would send it and i wouldn't have to pay for anything else

I accepted because i wasnt really in need of it then and i understood his plight.

I never disturbed Yeyeboyfriend since the 18th i made the payement until 2nd January.

I called him, the line i used initially for the calls wasnt going i had to go to his profile to get this number which was going through.I was able to reach him of which he said he would send someone to go check the price.

We had little rift then cus i told him its not really my business how much they charge for waybill that we agreed on the new year i would get it.

Yeyeboyfriend pleaded i should be patient he would send someone to go to the park to make enquiries on the cost of the waybill that.

I never got feedback on that i called no response still.

I had to call the wife to tell her i have been expecting what i paid for that i am no more comfy with whats happening.

She pleaded i be patient that she isnt there with him however she would call him to know whats up.


That was when Yeyeboyfriend wrote me the message on whatsapp after several calls that he would send the stab unfailingly on Saturday.

Saturday came and went no show from this man.
No calls!
No update!
He blanked me off entirely.

Next he did was to send me a vn on whatsapp that we never agreed on him paying for waybill.


I was mad!!

The thing enta my head.
I had to start cursing him of which i have no regrets whatsoever doing so.

I deposited my phone at an engineer shop prior to that day because of a fault it developed, so I had to make use of my wife's WhatsApp to chat buyers after seeing people quoting me that I'm not responding to their chats concerning the stabilizer, that was how she got involved.

The issue here is that he misquoted my suggestion/option for promise/agreement,

And I wasn't desperate for the money as some will assume because I have few interested buyers in Lagos who showed interest and can come pick it up themselves but because myself and him have been going back and forth trying to strike a deal for about 30mins, if he'd said he's not comfortable with my suggestion, I would have moved to sell to someone else I kept on standby

He claimed the cost of waybill is too high for him to bear alone, you claim your payment included waybill. Suggested solution, look for a middle ground between yourselves, both parties pay some. I don't think it'll work if you are not willing to pay anything at all for the waybill
