1. As I said, those men did not engage in fasting. Instead, they ended up not eating or drinking as a result of being with God for the period they were away. God didn't command you or me or anyone to engage in such a ritual. Instead, His command regarding fasting, found detailed in Isaiah 58 and Zechariah 7 does not involve starving oneself of food.
