Joan Felix to Chelsea: Top player coming into a team still lacking an actual playing template.

Chelsea fans not that you should be excited or anything because your team really gotta sort out their playing structure and tactical implementations, but I really think you are getting an Upgrade on Kai Havertz in Joao Felix who's technically superior.

Just my tots from a deeply observed angle as usual.

My thinking is, is Joao Felix the choice of Potter? Joao Felix is technically superior but I doubt he is a better tactician on the ball than Havertz. It will prove interesting to see how he fits them because Joao Felix is an ideal player for the false 9 position.

Tales by moonlight.

Explain to us how you came to such a bogus and false idea of a 21 years old beating the MRI wrist scan.

Wilfred Ndidi starts for Leicester vs Newcastle.

Interesting to see how Ndidi and his fellow MFs hold their own against Bruno and the gang at Newcastle.

Yeah, would be interesting to see how Potter utilises him coz I can't say for sure that Potter wanted him.

Havertz definitely is a harder worker and attacks the box more compared to Felix but the latter is a better ball carrier, more press resistant, and a better striker of the ball.

Also, I think felix is a better half spaces operator compared to Havertz.

Time will tell shaa. Both are similar from generalistic views but one is more boxwards than the other and that is havertz.

My argument was that over half of 20/21-year-old Sub-saharan African players would pass the MRI test.
You argued that it is far from accurate. Is this at the center of the argument?

To say I don't know anything about MRI because I didn't contribute a 400-word thesis when the argument was going on is just laughable. I don't have the time to engage in unnecessary arguments. Mind you, we still had same argument on this thread few months ago.

Moreso, I expected you to back up your claim with facts but you kept twisting and turning. TBH, I was looking forward to learn something new too because the pot of knowledge is wider.

The.goodjoe gave Ndidi's case as an example. If Ndidi could failed the MRI at such age, how then could a 21-year old pass MRI? Genetics? Environment? Feeding?

Mind you, I'm not disputing your claim. I just want you to elaborate more.

Bless you bro.

He's been everywhere throwing takcles and intercepting the ball. Excellent first half from Ndidi

It's quite obvious you've never had a MRI scan.

I've had three MRI scans all related to sports injuries, that by default means a discussion with radiologists in a top university teaching hospital in the UK.

I have both first hand participative understanding as well as research based understanding.

What do you have , prejudice and negative ignorance anchored on infantile rancourous noise making.
Can you show us proof?
Can a 21-year old passed MRI (for U17s)? You're telling me you had MRI relating to sport injury. SMH

Sure, you see this is a subject that has an academic component, so if you do not sequence your arguments well you will just end up going past each other. I took that path, then I realized he was answering imaginary questions. I make an argument with a premise, he makes his argument with a different premise. Such a back-and-forth is unfruitful unless going around in circles is your plan.

So since you are willing to go forward, let's go with you.
I assume you are well aware of my argument.
I opined that over half of a sample of 20/21-year-old Sub-Saharan African players will pass the MRI test. To be clear this is a deduction I made. It's not a conclusion drawn by any study, at least not directly.

To be able to properly discuss this topic and make deductions we have to go back to the most important study that led to FIFA's decision to adopt the MRI.

Is this a fair direction to take?

The problem is you are assuming Ndidi and Muazam were actually 16-year-olds because they claimed it. They claimed they were 16, and FIFA was not sure they were telling the truth so they use the MRI. Our players have a history of lying about their ages, so for the recent generations, the assumption is they are likely lying, hence the use of the MRI to screen out the old papas 22+ claiming 16. The question is what is the maximum actual age for which a player can claim 16 across the world? Does it differ from one place to another? And if possible by how much? So do you want me to continue with my point? cheesy grin

You are waisting your time.

These guys want to call the moon blue when it's clearly bright white.

Habit is the beginning of character and character ingrained on a national scale becomes culture.

Age cheating is an intrinsic part of our national character. At every level of society we have age cheating in Nigeria and Africa in general.

Everybody knows that player valuation is intrinsically linked with age. Every football academy I have been to in Nigeria. The question asked is not how old the players are But how old do you want them to be ❓

We do not have automatic birth data capture and as such you rely on the integrity of individuals. Sworn declaration of age. Nobodys age in Nigeria can be officially verified by a government institution.

So for instance just add a mere 3 years to V.O. age and a big chunk of his transfer value will be gone.

So you want to rely on individual integrity for age verification, in country where there is None. TheGoodJoe has called me a LIAR dont think he knows what the word means. He knows the truth but denies it .

Since you are basing your statements on assumptions, how about this?
Ndidi that you claim might have falsified hid age has been playing professionally for 10 years now and is considered one of the best DM in the premier league and definitely top 10 in the world based on verifiable stats..Never mind his recent injury spells..
If Ndidi falsified his age, I don't think he would be playing so well at a top level at this stage..

Ndidi was 16 years old. He grew up as a child under the watch of former Golden Eaglets captain, Nduka Ugbade. Nduka Ugbade trained Ndidi from a small boy, where he was the smallest player in the whole team as a kid until U17 level. He was sure of his age. However, Ndidi still failed the MRI.

Your deductive reasoning is devoid of fact. The MRI scan is universally accepted by professional radiologists. These are guys that are professionally trained on this.

You are just a layman in this matter and can't argue against a pure fact. You are just guessing and your guess is totally wrong with no source to back it up.

Do you think the radiologists, employed by NFA, CAF, and FIFA, don't know what they are doing? They screen every player in the U17 AFCON and every player in the World Cup. These are professionals. So, your deductive reasoning is pure fantasy.
